Staff was nice and efficient. Property was nice. Pool area (no Jacuzzi) was lacking. Parking simple.

Several things were well, but the pay per parking it wasn’t correct for me.

Staff was very friendly! Pool was a bit on the smaller side but not a lot of other hotel guests used it so it was nice and empty - hotel has laundry, and you can borrow board games from the front desk to play in your suite

Security was present all day every day. No noise issues. Convenient location. We had no issues.

This hotel hosted a block party bbq in the car parking lot blasting loud music from the morning until the early morning, absolutely insane! Made several complaints to the staff and they did nothing and one employee actually defended their actions. Never experienced this in all the hotels I’ve been to.

This hotel needs repairs and upgrades. Everything is so "tired". The pool is tiny and literally on the parking lot. Breakfast buffet is okay. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice clean hotel with great friendly staff, inclusive gym with water dispenser, and delicious breakfast. Outdoor safe Parking $22 daily but cheaper if book hotel package deal. Also pet friendly. Paper coffee cups, plates & bowls are great but would be even better if hotel also uses eco-friendly utensils and paper juice cups to help Mother Earth! =)

Hotel was great only thing was having to pay for parking. It doesn’t make since considering there is plenty of parking on the property. Parking was $20 a night … should be included with hotel

The room. Carpet was nasty. It was stains all over it and the room smell just like urine. The price of the room was overrated going through a third party. I will never do that again.

The property was really nice and the rooms were impressive. My only complaint is that certain areas were not as clean as I would have liked. For instance, one of the bedroom door knobs was sticky, the remote control was dirty, and the fridge was also not very clean. Other than that, however, everything was great! I will definitely stay again!

The front desk staff was very nice and professional but the hotel room bathroom shower looked like it had mold on it.

I hate that I had to kill damn spiders in the bathroom. I hate the way the bathroom is configured. I hate the position of the tv. I think housekeeping neends to do a better job. But, I especially hated that the friggin metro train runs past the hotel. Then there was the fact I could hear my neighbors snoring & talking loud. Hotel definitely needs to soundproof the windows.

Location – Convenient enough to get to different locations. Some shops and restaurants within walking distance. You’ll need a car to get to most places though. There are bus stops at the corner. Most shuttles consider this location out of area for any of their services like bus tours. Staff – Friendly and helpful. Breakfast – Cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, muffins, English muffins, scrambled eggs, veggie patty or sausage patty or bacon on alternating days, fruit, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and make your own waffles. The hot breakfast items were not nice – tasted like rubber. The kids did enjoy the waffles and that they offered chocolate milk. Room – beds and pillows ok. Too soft for my liking. Carpets need to be completely replaced. Rattly air conditioner. Thin and flimsy room altogether. You can feel the room shake from just walking quickly from one room to another or if you have kids that jump around, it feels like an earthquake and your neighbors may not like it. Laundry – very basic. No table to fold your clothes. No sink. No vending machines. 3 washing machines, 4 dryers. $4 in quarters each. No coin machine. Reception had some quarters available for change but if you have a lot of clothes to wash be sure to collect your coins first and buy your laundry detergent elsewhere because the hotel doesn’t offer any to purchase, not even in the lobby “store”. Lobby store – small selection of snacks and drinks average price about $4-$5. WiFi – works well.

Love all the people, the room and the convenient place to visit CA. The personal was so kind like Guadalupe, Luis and Brittany. The room had a kitchen and lot of space. The breakfast was delicious. The area is safe and clean.

A/c does not work. Room is way warmer than comfortable

I enjoyed my stay. My room was more than I needed, a small kitchen & work area - very well suited for out of town workers. Convenient to LAX & the beach cities. When I’m next in Manhattan Beach, I will definitely consider another stay here

Having 2 rooms was really nice. The fitness room is good, and the guest laundry was great. (It’s a little thing, but having a dryer that dries quickly was really nice.). One side of the hotel faces a train that runs every few minutes. It wasn’t a problem but was a little loud. The location is convenient to both the highway and a good selection of food and shopping options.

It can become a little noisy when people are down sitting near the pool area and the barbecue, it’s very difficult to sleep. People are there are told 2 o’clock in the night. We had to change our room, but overall it was a good experience.

So the smoke alarm keep going off. We had to disconnect it ourselves for several nights only to gind it reconnected until i disconnected it and handed it to staff at the front desk. But the manager did apologize and gave us 25k in points with bonvoy as a sorry. But still shoukd have been fixed the first time otherwise managment tried but staff failed which means more training.

Great service. Easy process. Front desk associates were amazing and very considerate. I dropped my wallet and they returned it before I even knew it was gone. Kudos to this team for their great service, and welcoming environment.

The hotel and staff were beyond excellency. Hotel’s staff service was excellent. We would like to thank to Brittany and Marcella, they were very attentive and cordial every morning at the breakfast Buffett. Not to mention Catalina, the housekeeper. Thank you so much, Panamanian family.

Everyone in reception and other all staff are very helpful.

The EVENING SHIFT SECURITY at 10:00 pm was very very rude to my husband when he approached my husband in the parking lot, after my husband said good evening. He asked my husband if he could read the sign that said no smoking. He did not even respond back with a Good Evening Sir. It was this security guards very rude approach to the hotel paying customer to asking him if he could read. All he had to do was say, Good Evening Sir, but there is no smoking on the parking lot. My husband went ahead and walked to the sidewalk to avoid confrontation.

We booked a one bedroom for a couple of nights at the hotel. However, upon reaching the hotel, we were told that they didn’t have that room available and the only one they could offer us was a studio. After a long flight with a toddler, this was a shocker. I did not get any email telling me this was the case (maybe I could’ve gone directly to another hotel saving time). I had to call Expedia from the hotel lobby to get them to relocate us to another hotel. It was way past my toddler’s bedtime and by the time we got to the second hotel, we were completely exhausted. Not the start to a holiday I was expecting. Completely threw both my wife and I off. All said, the front desk staff at the hotel were nice. It’s just unfortunate that their bad management left us with a sour taste. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to this hotel.

Property and staff were great. Needed to check in early and they accommodated us as best they could. Would stay here again.

Overall decent hotel but room I had reserved 2 weeks prior had been “sold” and no other 1 bedroom rooms were available. We ended up in a regular room which was ok but I think if a particular room type has been reserved by credit card with penalty of loss of 1st nights rate if no show then that room should not get sold off to someone else. Disappointing.

Sadly my family and I did not have the best experience, music was blaring from upstairs till 2am, we had a dog barking in the room next to us, our tvs were not working and when I called the front desk, they made me feel like I was bothering them and they told us to unplug the tv ourselves etc. for the amount of money that was spent on booking that room was very disappointing! I even emailed the hotel manager and nothing!

TownePlace Suites was a nice, clean place to stay in Manhattan Beach. The rooms are ample and the location is excellent when I want to visit my family.

What I likes specially about this property was its convenience. I could just get Torrance transit #8 and it would take me up and down to The Galleria, Del Amo Mall and to the airport in the other direction. Around within walking distance, there are restaurants, groceries stores, another mall, the Manhattan Village. The grren line is not far either, 10-15 walk

We rented a car. So location was good for us. Quiet area. All amenities were close by. Hotel was nice. We can recommend it for families with small children.

Nice spot close to the airport, very clean, room was huge with a full kitchen. Parking lot is big and safe.

1.Living in house and outside environment are all wonderful for me to work and do exercise around the hotel. 2.easy to travel to downtown through metro, it takes less than 10 min from hotel to metro station. 3.have several shopping malls nearby for personal needs in almost everything :)

My only complaint is the breakfast it was below average other than that the service was very good and the property as well I will be happy to stay here again

Nice hotel overall, clean and well maintained, has 24/7 security. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was good with several options. The hotel is a few minutes ride to shopping and good restaurant, also about 15 minutes drive to Manhattan beach. Good value for your money.

Location was perfect for what we needed, room was large enough to accommodate my family and the kitchen was great. The only issue, and it wasn’t really an issue, the food choices for breakfast were minimal- but not terrible

Not great.. there is no shuttle from the airport, there was no in room wifi, there was no business center or lobby computer.. the eggs and rubbery sausage literally tasted like pieces of rubber.

This was a nice place to stay while exploring the local area, the staff were helpful, the breakfast was a bit up and down, they mostly ran out of fruit and on our last day waffle mixture which was disappointing for the children.
