The room was adequate and beds comfy for a short stay. It's on the quiet end of Duval street, so close enough to walk around, but not in the middle of the madness of the party crews. It's a converted old house, so there are some oddities. The check-in was not in the same location, but quite a walk away at an office on Duval street where there is no parking to take your car there. This was not made clear, or I did not read that anywhere prior to arrival. Bathroom and hot tub are both looking tired and could use a renovation refresh.

Bathroom pocket door would not fully close, leaving a large gap, and toilet is right next to bed. The bed is the only place to sit when you are in the king room. This is a major privacy issue and management did not rectify it after I messaged them. Also they say there is a pool but it’s a jacuzzi.

Very nice local place, right by the beach. Clean, calm and very confortable. Only negative point was the 2 complementary bicycles, both had the pedals broken, couldn’t use it. Over the phone, the gentleman offered us to refund the rental we have to do, nice gesture and that was enough, we didn’t ask for! Will go back there for sure!

Stay was nice on a rainy Key West weekend .. the only thing we did not have was an ice maker on the grounds, and the outdoor jacuzzi jets did not work.. but other than that the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and very comfortable.. Excellent shower :)

Nice property. Friendly staff. Convenient to everything in key west. The pool on the property was just a hot tub that doesn’t function. It’s in poor condition, very rough surface to sit on or walk on. But the pool area is beautiful and nice to spend time there. Unfortunately, I could see daylight around the edges of the door to my room, so mosquitos got in. While it was nice to have a fridge and a microwave in the room, the fridge didn’t close all the way so I had to put a chair against it to hold it shut and the microwave had dials for the timer which made it hard to set the right time to heat foods. Despite these things, it’s pretty, safe and in a good area of town.

The pool is very small and the pictures are very deceiving. I was under the impression that free bicycles were available but there werent any on site. Overall it is a nice place and i would stay again.

No staff on site after normal business hours to get extra towels or other items. Shower water pressure was almost nonexistent. Good location, walkable to most everything. We were lucky enough to snag one of the two parking spaces available for this property.

Property was very convenient. Easy walk to the Southermost Point and easy walk to Duvall St. The pool is hot tub sized, and it needed to be cleaned. The water pressure in the shower was very poor. I was told that was due the aqueduct restricting water flow due to rain the previous night. After checking out, we checked into another place 1 block away and the new place had much better water pressure.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was very conveniently located in Key West and our room was spacious and comfortable. However there were only two parking spaces for six rooms. Fortunately we arrived early and got one of the spaces. We never drove anywhere but walked so we wouldn’t have to deal with the parking which is hard to come by in town. Also, we wished we would have known that this isn’t a b and b because there isn’t any breakfast. But our room had a small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Coffee was furnished but not replenished after the first day.

This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. The house was absolutely filthy and in disgusting condition. The rooms look NOTHING like the photos,they are completely misleading. The so-called “bicycles” were a joke; my partner and I tried to use them and both broke down in the middle of the ride, putting us in danger. The sheets were stained, the towels were ripped and filthy, and everything in the house was old, dirty, and falling apart. It was beyond disappointing, it was unacceptable and a total scam. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away!

There were bugs on the bed when we arrived and continued to appear throughout the weekend. The window AC units were older and smelled like mold when running. Best thing about the room is the location.

During my stay, room was dirty, furniture were dusty. On our bedsheets were hairs. After contact with owner of the hotel, we heard that bedsheets were fresh, but we couldn’t agree with that. We took a pictures and send it to the owner. It was uncomfortable. For price what i paid, i’m sorry to say that, but i feel that i wasted my money. I wouldn’t stay there again

The location was ok. You can walk to things but the street was undergoing construction so lots of noise. We had BIG cockroaches and a milipede in our room - they can easily enter through the hole in the front door. The shower floor is hard plastic - hurts your feet. The fridge was good. There is garbage around the premises and our patio. The idea of a quaint cottage is cool, just wish it was cleaner.

Good location for beach and Duval street. Beautiful period building, but a clear lack of investment in the up-keep. Poor standard of cleanliness (dirty windows, threadbare carpet, dusty skirting boards, knocked about furniture etc). Easy things to fix and would make for a nicer stay.

Location is great and bathroom and bed were clean. The carpet was extremely dirty. The water pressure in the shower was dismal. The locks to the building and entry gate did not work, not sure why have locks if they don’t work. Pool looks like a jacuzzi, small. Extremely small room that barely fit the king size bed and small bathroom. Not worth the $300 per night rate.

The room was unclean, floors turned our feet black. Water damage and peeling paint on walls and ceiling, and damp and moldy bathroom—the room had no ventilation. The deadbolt and door lock were lose and worked inconsistently. Finally the toilet seat in the bathroom wasn’t properly affixed and would slide off the toilet. Best thing about the property was the great location.

Once the check in issues with wi-fi were rectified and a simple room change we were very happy with our stay. Room #303 was to say the least very tiny, id say 125 sq. ft. tops and no shower water pressure. Room #301 was nice sized and well appointed. We will return when possible. Cloelse to Duvall st.

The pictures on the website need to be updated, images are a little nicer than actual room. The room was very small, but clean. The window air conditioner needs to be cleaned or just replaced. Overall it wasn't a bad place to stay, about 15 minute walk to the heart of Duval.

We recently stayed at this hotel and it was an absolute gem! We reserved a family room, which provided plenty of space with a main living room that had a bed and a separate room for the second bed. The kitchen area was well equipped, complete with a small table for us to enjoy our meals. The room had everything we needed, including fresh beach towels every day. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, with a short walk to the beach behind the hotel or about 20 minutes into the main parts of Key West. One thing to note for international travelers: arrange access with the hotel beforehand. We had some trouble getting in initially due to my international service not delivering the required text messages, but the owner was extremely helpful in sorting it out quickly. Overall, this place was amazing and I highly recommend it!

They had everything we needed with fridge microwave coffee pot and a very comfortable bed. The water pressure in the shower wasnt the best and was comparable to maybe that of a camper. Would still highly recommend as it was very close to the southernmost point of the united states!

We loved Key West and plan on making it a yearly trip. The room was not what was expected. The king size bed took up 3/4 of the space. The bedding kept slipping off the bed. The mini fridge is dated, as was the mini microwave. The bathroom is small, no place for make up. Sitting on the toilet and your knees are very close to the wall. Water pressure in the shower was minimal, but it got the job done. The Window A/C unit is old. Changing the bed to a double and doing a few updates would be great. Not intended for long stays. Sitting on the bed is the only option. Tried adding photos, but it won't let me.

The location was good, close to the shore and downtown. But the room was extremely small, rug not cleaned, the fitted bedsheet did not stay put on both sides of the bed, and also apparently very old sheets, it had small bumps all around as sheets sometimes do when they have been used for a long time. The staff here was great—very friendly and helpful. The property is older, but that was intentional on our part. We felt like it was cared for and maintained well, and the location was fantastic! Parking is tricky around the property, but not impossible, and that’s pretty true of Key West in general. Lots of great restaurants, shops, and beaches within a quick walk! The only note we had was that the pillows felt pretty old, so maybe a refresh there? Otherwise, we’d happily stay again!
The staff here was great—very friendly and helpful. The property is older, but that was intentional on our part. We felt like it was cared for and maintained well, and the location was fantastic! Parking is tricky around the property, but not impossible, and that’s pretty true of Key West in general. Lots of great restaurants, shops, and beaches within a quick walk! The only note we had was that the pillows felt pretty old, so maybe a refresh there? Otherwise, we’d happily stay again!

The rooms were ok, but for the price i paid, i'd skip this one and stay somewhere else with better service (or service at all) and more amenities.

The best thing was the service GiGi and Steve made u feel like family. The accommodations were superb and the location and design of the old home charm was more than we expected. This just enticed us even more about Key West and where to spend future vacations.

Nice little place in a great spot. We go down to K.W. all the time and stay all around. Hotel is in a great area with so much within walking distance. There is a convenience store that serves food right down the street and a scooter rental place next door to that. Beach and the pier is right around the corner. Perfect!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was very conveniently located in Key West and our room was spacious and comfortable. However there were only two parking spaces for six rooms. Fortunately we arrived early and got one of the spaces. We never drove anywhere but walked so we wouldn’t have to deal with the parking which is hard to come by in town. Also, we wished we would have known that this isn’t a b and b because there isn’t any breakfast. But our room had a small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Coffee was furnished but not replenished after the first day.

This room was disgustingly filthy. The front security did not work, you had to shove the door hard to get it to close. The carpets looked like someone poured oil on them. You could not walk in this room without shoes. Your socks or feet would turn black.

First of all, there is NO STAFF on this property! You book, and then you find out all this. They supposedly email the door codes. I never received an email. I called the phone #-no answer. Leave a message.. HORRIBLE!! 2) STATES THEY HAVE PARKING... THEY HAVE 2 SPOTS! for 6 rooms.. or you park on the street at $6.00/hr. Terrible terrible! I am reporting them to the Key West Chamber if Commerce and the Visitors bureau and the Better Business Bureau.
