We had hoped that the hotel shuttle service would take us to Scheels arena. The ONLY place that the shuttle will take a person is to the airport, which is basically next to the hotel. Also, we were surprised that the bathroom in our suite had only a light, no fan.

My daughter and I stayed here one night, but would have loved to stay longer. We did not have much use for the kitchen since our stay was so short, but it had everything and was very clean. The room was great, bed very comfortable and hotel staff very helpful and always available. Best pool and hot tub experience. Very clean. It's a small thing, but the trash and recycling bins all around the hotel were a very cool design. Breakfast was great. I will stay there again!!

The positives: Our room was large and well equipped. Breakfast was above average. The pool and hot tub were both nice. The negatives: There were dirty dishes in our dishwasher, the toilet tank was cracked and there was mildew on the caulk in the shower.

Really enjoyed our stay. Will stay again for sure. Staff were VERY friendly and helpful. Very quiet place to sleep. A few observations that could be improved; Outside trash can by an exit door was so full it was overflowing into the parking lot. our room was clean other than the airvents were very dusty as well as light fixtures. Everything else looked great.

Everything at this property is as promised. The only issue is noise. We could hear every step the people in the room above us made. Very sad a new hotel was built so cheap. We did call the front desk. Noise continued till 10:30pm. Started back up at 6: 00am. Very disappointed.

Beautiful lobby and friendly staff. We had a suite and the room was really nice but both double beds were sagging in the middle so my daughter and I kept rolling into a small concave in the middle of the bed so I think mattresses may need some updating. The breakfast was great but it drives me crazy that they can’t even keep some gluten free muffins or other items on hand when other hotels like Holiday Inn Express do. My 10 year old daughter could have yogurt and cheerios and fruit so they did have food for her but when you have a kid with celiac, whose brothers can eat waffles and pastries it just feels like a small thing that hotels could do to make everyone feel welcome, even those with dietary restrictions. At Holiday Inn Express they simply have a sign that says, Gluten free muffins available upon request and it made a world of difference for our kid. I’m not sure why Homewood couldn’t do something similar especially when providing so many items for everyone else.

The Good: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The layout of the room was great. We had a suite with two bedrooms, and they were both very comfortable. The tech seems good, although I never connect to hotel WiFi. The bedrooms each had a television, and we were able to connect our Netflix accounts directly to the TV\'s which was pretty nice. The entire suite was very clean. The Bad: for the amount of money I paid for this room, I expect more. The doorknobs to the king bedroom were practically falling out of the door to the bedroom and the door to the bathroom. The water took FOREVER to get warm, much less hot. Nevertheless, eventually, the water was good for showers. The showerhead was so loose that it flopped down so that I had to "prop" it up so I could adequately get underneath it. I\'m tall (6\'3"), but I don\'t normally have a problem. The wall mount of the showerhead was coming away from the wall. There was no curtain liner. So, I was stuck with deciding whether I wanted water all over the bathroom or the shower curtain constantly wrapping around, and sticking to me, during my shower. The sofa was so uncomfortable as to be almost unusable. I had to stuff another cushion underneath the seat cushion in order for it to be level enough to sit comfortably. All in all, it was OK. Again, the staff and the cleanliness were outstanding, but the room was extremely over-priced considering the shortcomings. They could do much better.

Our room was kept very clean. The housekeeping staff was superb and friendly; they were aware of our situation and made an effort to see that our room was always clean. Tom, the manager helped out when we had a problem with the TVs in the room...and it was Thanksgiving!! The Manager's "Happy Hour" on Wednesdays was a hit! The "appetizers" were more than enough for a meal, and even included a beer or glass of wine! All free!! Each person at the front desk was excellent in answering questions and was very friendly and helpful. They knew our stay was medically involved, so they always asked how we were doing. Breakfasts often are so-so, but here they were hot and varied. Each suite has a kitchenette, so you could always make your own breakfast, but why bother when the breakfasts were good and ready to eat. If you are concerned about airport noise, don't. The morning and evening flights were never an issue for us, there was hardly any noise. We were pleasantly surprised since the hotel is so close to the airport, but it was a non issue. Yes, we highly recommend this hotel.

After Expedia failed to book a room for us, even though I had a confirmation number, the general manager was quick to remedy the situation and we got an excellent room, even though it had to have been nearly booked up due to a concert across the street. The staff was amazing, everything was perfect and we would absolutely stay here often. The only thing missing is a water slide, but even without that, we would stay again. Everything was awesome!

I came here to run the Fargo Marathon. Location was perfect! Manager picked me up at the airport. I was able to get an extended check out which was huge so that I could shower before going home. Start of the marathon was across the street. Doesn’t get better than that! They even offered extra early time for breakfast so runners could eat beforehand. If I ever run Fargo again, I’d absolutely stay here again!

The Homewood Suites in Fargo is a beautiful hotel. The location is perfect for attending any events at the Fargodome. You can literally walk across the street to the venue. Our room was nice and clean, the breakfast selection was quite impresssive and the outdoor sitting area is a lovely feature.
