Just south of old downtown with ample parking. The beds are ultra-comfy, a Kuereg and fridge in the room, plenty of soft towels. A clean, quiet, reasonably priced, 2-story "down-and-out" style hotel (room doors open to exterior).

I only booked this room because it had an indoor pool and hot tub. We travelled with 2 teenage boys for 5 days. Got there and was told it under renovation. Was also told house keeping was only by request. Asked for house keeping at 7:30am and got back at 5pm and was never done. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is dated and had water issues with our bathroom, but they came and fixed it quickly.

Recently remodeled and property looks very, very nice. TV is via streaming, so takes some getting used to. Nice coffee shop near the lobby but only serves breakfast after 8am.

Very nice room with 2 beds. Very comfortable. Only drawback is that there is no elevator to get to 2nd floor - but highly recommend the hotel.

Hotel is a large, older motel complex that has been updated and refreshed. The refresh was well done. The hotel does not include breakfast, but there is a good coffee bar on site. The breakfast burrito was quite good. My biggest complaint was that the bathroom was oddly small.

Mainly chose this property to go swimming in an indoor pool with our kids. Pool was shut down, no breakfast was served, it was shut down, and the room was a complete disaster. The plugs were haning off the wall, cords strung everywhere, no stopper for the tub to take a bath. Im very dissatisfied with my stay here. Wont ever choose this hotel again

So the first room they gave us hadn’t had the bathroom cleaned. The maintenance guy walked right in on us because he was in the process of fixing the drapes and didn’t realize the room would be rented. When I mentioned there didn’t seem to be towels, he did go get some. However, by the time he came back, I realized there were no towels because they were still in the bathtub and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. He just kind of shrugged his shoulders and said housekeeping was gone for the day. A couple of calls to the front desk and they eventually decided to get me a new room. The failing cleanliness grade is based on the new room. I get people make mistakes and get distracted, but the new room (while having clean towels, yay!) still was pretty dirty. I wish Expedia let me post pictures. Bottom line this is an old hotel (first room had crack in sink and hole in carpet, second room was much better) and terrible housekeeping (and I am really not that picky), I don’t think they had cleaned the vents or the tops of doors in years. I would find somewhere else to stay. Not worth the $$.

This reasonably priced hotel is in a good, quiet location, but housecleaning needs to do a better job on the soap scum buildup in the tub and sink. Also, the “black-out” curtains are totally insufficient. There was so much light coming in the room at night you could have done cross-stitch in bed. Good coffee shop in the lobby though.

The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The room was probably the cleanest I have ever seen any hotel room. Very pleasant grounds and surroundings. Very quiet. No complaints at all.

outdated. room was not very clean. beds were fine. carpets filthy. bathroom door wouldn’t close without lifting toilet seat. incredibly small bathroom with basic needs met. fixtures falling off the wall. 3 nights and they never cleaned. we had to empty trash, ask twice for towels, and place dirties outside.

We were greeted with a smile & guest box. The stay was comfortable but the floors had not been fully cleaned. I walked barefoot & ended up with a black foot from all the dirt. Good thing guest slippers were provided. Otherwise, it was cleaned as expected. There was only one garbage can, so requested the can be dumped. I was told housekeeping cleans every 3 days. I received the 2 extra towels & chased housekeeping down for another bag in exchange for garbage. We had 3 adults & was given 4 towels, 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths. Do the math. When the fire alarm was beeping, we did receive a quick response to change the batteries. The toilet seat was also very loose though. Overall, it was ok, but I would try somewhere else first, if we ever come back to Taos.

The staff is excellent. The Espresso Bar is has great coffee and breakfast offerings. The heating in the room was more than adequate. Complaints: The bed was too high and difficult to get into. There was only one chair in room and it was very uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have a second waste basket. There was no service of our room so no one emptied the waste basket or provided more coffee for the coffee machine. Given that it was a holiday I understand the staff was away and I did not care if the beds were made but those small things need to be addressed. I hope that these neglects were due to the holiday and not a pattern.

Ever since we walked in to the room, we could hear a pretty loud pounding noise on the pipes coming from inside the wall. It’s pretty much nonstop and goes all the way throughout the night.

This is an old school motel that has been renovated. My room was clean, the mattress was new, and the renovations within the room were all done nicely. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The only reason I gave this property four stars as opposed to five is because it is a motel and not a modern hotel.

Good location in the middle of the main drag in Taos. Dispensary, super market, and tire store are within walking distance. Walmart, ski rental stores, and a few restaurants within 3-10 min drive. Taos is about 35 mins north and Sipapu is about 40 mins south. The bridge were Mickey married Mallory is about 30 mins west. Rooms were shockingly modern and well-maintained. Looks like they were renovated a short time ago. TV's were new, the beds were form and looked very expensive, and they had a complimentary Venere wireless phone charger on the desk. The pillows were too soft, though. Good wi-fi, parking right in front of your door. The desk doesn't face the TV, which is inconvenient if you're trying to watch TV while eating. They don't have a continental breakfast, but they have a fancy coffee shop with lots of paid food options. I'd definitely stay here again.

We learned that the hotel had recently been remodeled. Well, if true it was done very well. Comfortable, spacious, clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful Coffee bar which we were told would add bar/restaurant features. We highly recommend this hotel.

The location is good. Not w/in walking distance to the center of town but that is ok. They hotel is going through an update process so it had some workers on site in the morning but it was not an issue. The room was modernized and clean. Although I did find a couple of dead bugs on the floor. (Not the kind of bugs creep you out). The beds are comfortable however, foundations are metal and if you get too close you will bang them with your foot and they are LOUD. So careful if you don’t want to wake your roommate up during a late night trip to the bathroom.

Terrible service. Rarely anyone at front desk. Originally given a room that was unrefurbished with drapes that wouldn’t closed. Finally was given a room that had been redecorated without explanation. No one at desk to check out with to get a receipt. The lobby looks nice. Don’t let that fool you for the rest of the property including your room. A $200 room that should have been no more than $70 a night.

Upon arrival, Cassie was very friendly and professional during my check in process. My room was clean and had all of the amenities I needed. While they don't include breakfast, there is an attached coffee shop that serves great coffee, pastries and other breakfast items at a discounted price. Will definitely stay here again.

So the experience here is purely based on the service. I don’t think we have ever felt so welcomed and been provided such exceptional customer service! I sure hope this owner knows what a fabulous employee Nick is! He was fun to chat with, gave excellent recommendations, things to do, and told me I HAD to try the coffee in the morning, so I did just that! He was working the front desk when we checked in and the next morning greeted us at the coffee shop. My fiancé has a construction business and has a lot of contract work in NM, so we will definitely be staying here again, thank you Nick for your hospitality!

June 2024, there is construction on the main road in Taos and limited some of our wandering curiosity...not everything was accessible. Otherwise, Taos is one of my favorite places to visit.

Great place to stay. The only complaint I had was the free breakfast. Didn't amount too much. They had us container of cereal and you could have eggs if you ordered the day before. We always went out for coffee and breakfast. But other than that, don't let that stop you from staying there the place is nice, clean and quiet and extremely friendly.
