This hotel is exceptional in every way. The staff is wonderful, working hard to please and help. The rooms are clean, comfortable, modern, quiet and artistically decorated. The bar is great. Art is, as the hotel name implies, everywhere. I loved the ambiance!

Fantastic property with attentive and engaging staff. The room was so comfy, decorated with creativity and fun features and amenities. We loved the amazing art throughout the hotel, live music in the lobby, food and beverage options, and welcoming vibe. The staff are amazing and the customer service is top notch. The location is great--just a block from the river, walking distance from several theaters and downtown sights. I highly recommend for a unique and personal experience.

The art and idea of the hotel is fantastic. There was some hair in our bathroom (toilet and sink areas). We were right next to an "employee only door" that was opened and closed enough times to notice and be bothered by it - as the door didn't close quietly. The bar/downstairs food seating area was overcrowded for both nights, which is great for business, but with more couches than chairs, it wasn't an easy/comfortable place to sit (if you were lucky) and talk with the loud live music. I feel the space could be better suited to sit more people.

The room was fine, but it wasn't serviced one day. Valet shuts down at 9 PM some nights, meaning you self park your car but still pay for valet which is stupid. I didn't like that there was no coffeemaker in the room.

Room was comfortable and the bed was outstanding. I really like the record player in the room but you can barely hear it. The bar in the lobby was understaffed based on the capacity in the hotel. It took me 30 mins to get a drink at 6:30 Saturday. Overall very nice hotel.

Very clean room, beautiful view of Milwaukee. The shower was spacious and the double shower head was lovely. The common area with the bar had a nice vibe. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. And the underground parking was perfect for what we needed. The area is walkable with a lots of great restaurants. I will definitely stay again!!

its a nice property, good bar/live music, and cool vibe overall. Service was nice overall. I had a difficult experience with the Valet service/ability to get my car back after I checked out. I called the front desk at 840 am, said I needed my car by 9 am. No problem they would have it out front. I get down at 905 - check out/pay for valet service, service agent is very nice, says working on it. I walk out and there is no one in front of the hotel/no valet and no car. I wait 10 minutes and go back inside, the agent says she will get a coworker to get it. Its now 915 and I'm going to be late for my appointment. The Front Manager comes out from behind the front desk area and asks me what is the problem/so passive aggressive. after explaining and figuring out she is the one that will go get my car, she asks what is my problem, and I tell her she is not solving my problem by quizzing me on my bad service, she then walked pretty slowly to get my car. The front agent agreed to waive my valet charge. 5 minutes later that front manager returns with my car, it was 920 by that time and I was late for my meeting. She did apologize and agree to waive the fee.

Wonderful choice in a great mid western town; surrounded by art galleries within, popular lobby bar/lounge, nice gym, breakfast on upper floor Has a boutique hotel feel, responsive helpful staff plan to Return in Sept and I never stay in same place twice!!

Beautiful hotel, staff were great. Room was in need of a deep clean. Thick dust on smoke detector and really dirty under bedside table between beds. Also listened to major construction on building on my window for 2 hours - banging, drilling and scraping. Guests should not have been given those rooms for known construction.

Saint Kates is upscale and usually out of our price range, but when we "can" get a price break it is our choice. Great location, rooms are very nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. We did only have one washcloth, which was odd because we had plenty of towels, but that was very minor. Saint Kates is located well, and is an easy walk to anything in the downtown area. We were going to the nearby Pabst Theater, but almost all the music venues were close from there. They have an excellent bar area but expect it pretty crowded on a Friday night. Great dining options (although we opted for other arrangements), and a staff that works with you right away if there are issues. All in all, Saint Kates (if you can afford it) is one of the best for downtown Milwaukee.

Very clean room, beautiful view of Milwaukee. The shower was spacious and the double shower head was lovely. The common area with the bar had a nice vibe. This is a unique arts hotel and it is beautiful. My room did not have adequate sound proofing to block a couple’s quarreling for two hours at night. Management was apologetic and responsive.

The room and hotel were stunning!! There was so much to do and see around the hotel grounds. The room was comfy and cozy, and the person who checked us in was so kind. The reason I deducted stars is because we were startled out of our sleep with loud pounding on the wall at around 630-7am. It was soooo loud and did not stop and we could not get back to sleep so we decided to just leave at 830am. We had driven over 5 hours from Minnesota to attend a concert that night before so we were exhausted. It was very frustrating to not be able to sleep in. At check out we shared our experience with the pounding with the attendant, and she said "oh yea sorry, probably from the construction. You want to keep everything on the same card." Even when we told her we were checking out early because of the pounding, no comped breakfast or discount or anything was offered. The street noise was also really loud.

If you like generic don't stay here! Art work, art work everywhere. So much thought put into every corner of the hotel. The life size driftwood horse in the lobby, the fantastic bar, the gallery, the little touches down to the cutain holders, an amazing place. Borrow albums from the front desk for the record player in the room. Play the ukulele in the room. Thumb through the art books in the room. Art in the shower tile, art in the bar soap, create your own art with the colored pencils and roll of paper in the room. Talk with the artist in residence. In the heart of the theater and art district 1/2 block from the Milwaukee riverwalk.

We loved the overall service. Checking in was easy and the staff was attentive and friendly. The bar service was wonderful, as was the waitstaff at Aria. The property is beautiful, and it is in a great location. Our king room was VERY small and unexpected after having stayed there before and having been in a more comfortably sized king room. The shower in the bathroom leaked all over the floor because of the design of the shower door. That was inconvenient. Overall we did love our stay at Saint Kate’s though, and would love to return again.

Pizza was really good, great amenities. Loved the little details of hotel with its artwork and music. Ukelele's int he room were a great touch. Downsides were the AC wasn't working on and off and the TV didn't work for bit. Also our toilet was running but they fixed both immediately which was appreciated. We had fire alarms go off randomly one in the middle of the night which was really rough.

Yes it's a very nice hotel and you should expect it is nice. This was next level. Starting with the first floor bar that is very perfect for lounging and having a cocktail. The second floor restaurant (and bar) was very intimate, perfect for a romantic dinner. The room was plush and comfortable.The decor was interesting and yes we used the record player. Great location! The staff was excellent. Sometimes in upscale hotels staff can be snooty but the staff we met were both friendly and charming. Quick to offer help or pour a glass of welcoming champagne.

Good: spacious room, excellent blackout curtains, fun extras (ukulele, Bluetooth-enabled record player), robes, on-floor chilled water dispenser. So-so: toiletries had luxe packaging but seemed cheap when used, bed was overly firm. Bad: peephole cover was broken; the "fix" was to put electrical tape over the hole. And there\'s no sound-proofing. Could hear people next door, plus the sound of the elevator operations.

Lovely large room with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Interesting lobby and two art galleries, plus art details in the rooms. Helpful and pleasant staff. A glass of champagne upon arrival and check in!!

They didn’t have a room for us until around 5:30 pm. We were going to a Bucks game and wanted to change and have dinner beforehand but because of the delay in getting our room we had to switch our plans. We ended up having pizza at Proof in the hotel. That was decent Neapolitan pizza. The front desk did apologize for the delay and offered us two free drinks at the bar for the inconvenience. I still feel it’s unacceptable to have the delay be so crazy and for it to have to impact the rest of our evening.

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were absolutely gorgeous—beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Checking in was quick and easy, staff was kind at front desk and especially at the lobby bar. The location was great! Came for a concert at the Pabst theater and was pleasantly surprised it connects! Definitely recommend and will be back.

The Aria restaurant and Giggly Champaigne bar is excellent. Food was amazing and wonderful views. Love that they give you a glass of champaigne at check in. Friendly staff. Art theme, galleries and proximity to theaters are fantastic. So close to everything downtown. Live music in the bar dowstairs is so fun. The fitness center was very nice and spacious. A wonderful place to stay! My only issue was I couldn't find any recycle bins so I created a bag in my room and felt bad doing that. It was Christmas so there were boxes and things to recycle!

The hotel itself is unique and still the perfect room for comfort and cleanliness. Easy checkin with a glass of champagne. Loved the lobby bar with great bartenders. Great overall hotel close to many arts opportunities, but especially convenient when attending a show at Pabst Theater. Great experience!

This property is amazing at every possible level! It is clean and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You are offered champagne at check in and a $20 voucher for use at the hotel. The live music in the lobby was stellar! It has such a fun vibe. The rooms are clean and beautifu and the beds the most comfortable I have slept in at a hotel. We will definitely come back again.

We only dined at the Aria restaurant for breakfast. The food and service were good. Unfortunately, on the weekends, the opening hours are later. We couldn't wait for it to open. We decided to check out and leave for the airport.

It’s a great looking hotel with a fun vibe. But the air in our room was broken, we couldn’t order food when the bar was still open for another hour, but offered a drink and the last table at breakfast and the food took forever to come out.

I liked everything about this hotel, the decor and rooms were beautiful. Live music during the evening was very nice. The pizza was delicious, along with the others meals I had there. The art on display was a nice touch. 5 stars! I will definitely stay there again.

Loved the art and all the thoughtful details in this hotel! Rooms were nice, beds were comfy and staff was professional and friendly. We would definitely return. However… the pizza place was pretty unkempt and our pizzas were almost inedible. Dominos would be better! And the Aria restaurant was understaffed - long wait at host stand and even longer for brunch service. We wished it had a little convenience store area to grab a protein bar, etc. Despite the food issues, we really enjoyed staying here.
