Its not a very nice hotel, except rhe entry area and breakfast areas. The rooms are so worn out, and the pool area was awful, the ceiling tiles are leaking, alot are gone, its so cold in there, doesnt make a very nice pool experience when u r freezing, you need to do major work in there. Our room housekeeper was lovely .

In general, a nice quiet room. We liked it because it was on ground level and we could walk outside and park in front of our room which made it easy to load as there aren't elevators. The rooms are far from the main lobby, kind of a qeird floorbplan.

No elevators.....we were on the 2nd floor and my husband has severe heart condition so it was very difficult to carry the luggage up. The air conditioner was so loud you couldn't even watch TV. Great location with lots of surrounding conveniences

TLDR: The hot tub and sauna are closed for maintenance or out of order. The pool area is frigid, the change rooms are unheated. The check-in process was easy. My room was ready right way. The hotel is outdated. The hallways smell of cigarettes. My room was clean-ish. The toilet paper holder wasn't attached to the wall, and fell off the first time it was used. Room and hallways were dirty. Dust and cobwebs in the room. Bedding was gross and pillows were lumpy. Hotel is very run down with a lot of windows leaking and some even cracked. Slept with clothes on because we were so uncomfortable with the state of the hotel/room. Would not stay again and would not recommend it to anyone.

The room was tidied but left filthy. The bathroom floors were evidently dirty, the pool area was atrocious; the hot tub was tepid at best. Dog feces outside our patio door. No sheer blinds. Cigarette burn in lampshade. Not worth the cost in the slightest.

When we arrived, we were given our room. When we got to our room there was garbage and dirty towels on the floor as well as garbage in the trash can. The room also smelt like smoke. They gave us another room which was at least clean but again didn’t smell very nice. On the exterior, cars were getting stuck as they hadn’t even plowed the parking lot. We were advised by the reception that they would be documenting the situation with Hotels.com and that we would be provided 50% off our stay.

Unfortunately, the room was not clean when we checked in. While the staff responded quickly and moved us to another room, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. The facility appears run down and in need of repairs and a thorough cleaning. That said, the staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My criticism is directed at the state of the facility, not the service.

Upon arrival, the room appeared clean however once we looked more closely at the bed it was clear the bed had been simply re-made after the last guests stay. The sheets had hair on them as well as dirt. We had reserved a two bed room and unfortunately both beds were in the same state . We tried two different rooms, and both rooms were in the same condition.. beds made up with dirty sheets. We got our money back and went elsewhere. I won't be staying at this hotel chain again

We checked in and the bedding was dirty. Housekeeping did come to put clean sheets on. The bathroom though was nasty. There was mould around the bathtub floor as well as inside the tub. The anthropomorphic door did not shut either. This property is not worth the $250 a night ticket.

Staff was friendly. Bathroom was dirty I actually had to clean it before we could use. As there was fecal matter sprayed on the wall and sink area. Swimming area was wet and slippery but no one was there. Things are getting very worn and rusty. The hot tub had clumps off hair floating in it. The staff and the clean beds were their saving grace.

The staff were so friendly. It was a fairly basic hotel with signs of aging but also some renovating is evident. We loved the pool and hot tub. Our remote wasn’t working for the tv and maintenance came and replaced it in minutes. The surrounding property was great. Tons of green space perfect for kids and dogs to run around. Huge parking lot. Tim Hortons in parking lot was a bonus. Breakfast wasn’t great. I’d stay here again forsure but plan to go for breakfast elsewhere. All in all we were super happy-right off hwy 11 and lots of restaurants close by

Staff provided excellent service and were very friendly. The continental breakfast was okay. The room was quite dated, bathroom was really small, & the TV was "fuzzy" so we couldn't really watch it. The room wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. Very basic, but clean. I paid $250/night and unfortunately wouldn't recommend the hotel unless you're looking for something very basic and simple.

Terrible experience. After returning from the pool with my family, we found the hairdryer in our room wasn’t working. I called the front desk and spoke with someone named Hussen, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He said it wasn’t his problem and told me to wait until the next day. When I insisted we needed it now, he hung up the phone on me. We went downstairs to speak in person, and he yelled at me to “get out” in front of my family. When I asked to speak to the manager, he shouted again saying the manager isn’t here and refused to help. I even saw him later secretly calling someone, likely the manager, while continuing to lie to us. His behavior was disgraceful and completely unacceptable. On top of that, there were no pool rules posted. Several people entered the pool in regular clothes, leaving lint and debris floating in the water. The hot tub and pool were dirty, and we couldn’t even enjoy them. This hotel has no respect for guests, no professionalism, and no basic standards. I will never return and strongly advise others to stay away.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel Our stay at the Quality Inn was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff, particularly someone named Hussain, was incredibly rude and unhelpful. We were given a ground-level room where the sliding back door was broken and held shut with a wooden stick. The stick wasn’t even placed correctly, making the room feel unsafe.When we reported this around 7 PM, Hussain promised to change our room. We went out for dinner, and he said he will find a new room when we returned. But when we came back at 9:30pm, he told us there were no rooms available and even suggested we check out and find another place at 10 PM! No apology, no attempt to send someone to check the lock, just complete indifference. Also he said the pool closes at 9 PM, while the sign clearly stated 10 PM. The bathroom was filthy no soap, no toiletries. The hallway had a horrible smell that made the entire floor feel dirty and neglected. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. I would never recommend this place

We had reserved from Thursday to Sunday and since we didn’t show up on Thursday, we assumed they would charge us for that night. Instead, what they did was cancel our entire reservation for the weekend, and the hotel was full, so we had to go somewhere else. No notification was given on any of this, despite them having my email. We found out we had nowhere to stay when we arrived to check in. Don’t trust your reservation!

We had booked this room because of a terrible experience we had with the Stone Gate in orillia. The front desk people were so friendly Carrie and Josh. from the moment you walked in the doors you felt welcome. We booked in on the 7th Feb 2025, which was a huge snow storm. The highway was closed down because of a 50 car pile up. Around dinner the parking lot started filling up with people who had been stranded on the highway all day. Because of the weather there were some staff that could not make it in, so they were short handed. there was one server-bartender and one cook. Our server slash bartender ( Michelle) was amazing. She kept everyone up beat and had a smile on her face the whole time. There was a bit of a wait for food, but it did come out in a timely manner considering the droves of people coming through the doors. The lobby was packed and Josh and Carrie handled it very professionally. Everyone was nice including the guests. The staff were so kind it kept everyone calm and relaxed. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE STAFF at the Quality Inn On Woodside Dr. Orillia

Until breakfast it was just about several little things like the ice machine did not work. We paid for 3 people and had one large towel and then some small towels. I asked at the desk if they could call us a cab and they said no but could give me a number to call. Breakfast was a disaster. We go there just after nine and there was several people waiting for food and there was no food and no staff to be found. I don’t mean little food but it was no food not even a coffee. I went to the desk and no apology just ok we will call. I feel that we should be reimbersed for our three breakfasts. In all I thought Quality inn was a good brand name but I will never stay in another one.

The front desk was helpful for sign-in and went over the rules, what was open and when plus reminded us about the food place connected. We asked what was good in the area and the staff had some reccomendations too. The breakfast procided had those waffle machines, and staff bringing out eggs, sausage, and mini potatoes to hot holders, cold cereal options, yogyrts, fruit and a toaster for toast. I wasn\'t disappointed by the options at all. The pool was nice and refreshing we swam for a little. Did not try the hotub, but a couple in it said it was nice. The rooms were basic. The duvet like over blanket was a tad heavey and warm but you have control of your AC/Heat which was good since i was travelling with my grandmother and she is fussy on temp. The heat/ac worked quite well which is usually a thing i struggle with in hotels. Everything was great except the shower. I think its just a bit outdated, the cracks looked a bit worn and dirty for wear but the tub inside was clean which is why we had no issue. Lots of towels provided, and you could "sign out" towels for the pool which was great :) both check-in and out staff were friendly and helpful for both towels and into the hotel. There is parking close to the front floor rooms, and overflow parking up the hill.

The room stunk like cigarette smoke, the beds were so hard our backs hurt. The pool was murky and freezing. The breakfast was half run out of everything by 9. There was signs to find a house hippo and yo tell the front staff which my children thought was fun. When they told the front desk he was curt and dismissive. The property is very dated and I would recommend no one stay there.

There is no bathroom in Lobby. Private function in restaurant therefore no bathroom. Had to ask for breakfast - just cereal and coffee out. Water in cafe was warm not hot. The Quality Inn & Conference Centre in Orillia is a decent stop over for a night, it is a bit confusing getting down to the location and better lighting in the parking lot is needed if your room is in the back. It is run down and in need of some renovations. They had 2 computers which Josh told us were older so would be a bit slow, but unfortunately, they did not work, it would load to Safari/Google, but once you typed "hotmail" it would not take you to the page. The breakfast was lack lustre. It was more of a grab and go type (continental). Coffee, tea, apple and orange juice, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, toast, stale bagels and a waffle maker (thank goodness for that!)
