This is an amazing hotel. It is newly renovated. The lobby has many tables for eating breakfast and relaxing throughout the day. There is a bookcase with puzzles, a few games and books, all of which can be used during your stay. The outdoor pool was clean and the water temperature was perfect. An added bonus for those who enjoy playing basketball is theor well-maintained full-size basketball court. My teens had a lot of fun playing basketball. You can get the ball from the front desk. Our room was gorgeous! It was a 1-bedroom which featured an island for dining and a full kitchen. Most suite hotels don't offer a cooktop, but this Staybridge did. The living room pullout is much betyer designed than older pullouts. On this one all parts of the couch flip this way or that way to make up a full size bed. The bedroom had two doubles. They were a little tight having two people in each, but it worked. The bathroom sink is outside of the shower and toilet room which helps when multiple people are getting ready. The two tvs helped us all stay amused. I couldnt have asked for a better appointed room. I loved it here so much. Sadly, we were only able to stay one night because this was the last leg of a longer trip to Acadia and Portland. I cannot wait to come back to the Boston area just to stay in this hotel. It was perfect in every way.

Definitely wasn’t impressed with this hotel. Yes it has been recently refreshed but very poorly done. Our hotel room was near the employee break room and employees would hang out in the hallway, we literally had to step over them to get into our room. They were also inconsiderate to the noise levels for the guests. Aside entrance door wasn’t working and was a security concern. Unfortunately won’t return.

Hotel was going through renovations during our stay. The elevators were being painted and although functioning, were taped and covered with cardboard (and unavailable during late night through morning). The side of the hotel we stayed on looked great, but we had to change rooms due to our power going out twice. I think this place will be great once finished but it is a little messy to stay during renovations.

We were so happy with this hotel! Free parking, free hot breakfast, kitchenette with a LARGE fridge and a laundry room too. Close to everywhere we went to visit, a large mall right down the street with plenty of food options. I was concerned there may be odors considering it’s a pet friendly hotel but that was NOT an issue! We didn’t come with children but it’s a very kid-friendly hotel with a basketball court AND pool if that’s what you’re searching for. I will absolutely stay here my next visit.

The employees are rude they look annoyed if you ask for something. They keep talking among each other seeing you are standing there saying excuse me and make you wait till they finish there convo. Hotel room was dirty and towels. The bathroom also was dirty including the shower. I would not recommend or would stay again here

I am a frequent visitor of Staybridge Suites and this is the first time that I have been disappointed. The carpet in our room was old, dirty and sticky. When walking barefoot on it, the soles of our feet were black. I'm hoping the renovate soon, but this was unacceptable.

There were dirty sheets, stains splattered on the walls, floor, and couch. There was hair and dirt embedded into the sheets and mattress cover. The shower had a dirty vent above it which seemed like someone would have a camera in it. If I was staying there for long (it was only one night) I would have complained and tried for another room. But it seems like it would have been worse or the same if I moved to another room anyways. Even the elevator was disgusting and had splattered food and writing in it. Not a good first impression of Boston for me.

This is a great property. Very nice and spacious rooms. The problem here is that you will hear every step from the people in the room above you. The floors are very creaky and the people above me seemed to be nocturnal. The only way to get any sleep was by wearing headphones. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you. But everything else was great

The renovations are nice, and the front desk staff is friendly and professional. There are a few areas that need some cleaning or a fresh coat of paint. Elevators, dining area, and air ducts are places that could use some care. Knives for preparing food in the kitchen suites are some of the dullest I've seen. TV in the room is not smart at all with no ability to connect to the Internet or apps for casting. If you can overlook these issues , and we could, it is a fine place to stay.

Spacious, updated-looking suites. Happy with the layout: good separation of living areas & use of space. Clean rooms. Friendly staff who work hard! Appreciated the 24x7 coffee station. Convenient location off major highways. Cooking was easy bc Trader Joe’s & Market Basket just 2 mins away for groceries. *Comfortable beds!!* I usually can’t settle the first night, but slept like a log the whole time. Liked the suite layout vs. their studio-suite but that’s a matter of personal preference, not quality. Don’t often write long reviews. Great place to stay in the area! Good for extended stay needs. Also families needing a space to stay sane on vacation lol. Tourists to Boston and any bordering New England states will also be happy. Hope you enjoy!

Fine hotel. Plenty clean. NIce urban pathway walk to Starbucks. This could have been a good stay. But it wasn't. Sunday night there was a group of people in the room above me stomping around til 1:30 a.m. I called the front desk twice and got no reponse. I went down to talk to somebody at the front desk. Nobody was around. I said something to the staff in the mornig and they said they'd address the matter. They apparently did not. Same stomping around on Monday night, only til 2:00 a.m. I went up to 318 and knocked but nobody would answer the door. I called the front desk again, no answer. I went to the front desk, no answer. I finally called the motel's actual phone number and.........got a response. They clerk knew that there were problems in 318 because others had complained. That was at 1:00 a.m. The noise continued til 2:00 a.m. I brought this to the attention of the manager in the morning and said I'd not be staying the third night, which I'd already paid for through Hotels.com. He said any refund had to come through Hotels.com and he offered no apologies or explanation as to why neither he nor his staff addressed the noise in 318. I'd like a refund for that third night.

Could not check in. Front desk person refused to check us in!! We and two others waited and waited while she did other stuff including taking two phone calls. Initially we were told we have to wait. After the second phone call I asked if we could be checked in now. She thought this was being disrespectful. She angrily stated she would not check us in. We could not speak to her manager. We’re told manager would not be available till the next day. I’ve travelled much and even worked at a hotel front desk. This was my worse hotel experience by far. Was shocked beyond belief!! We were forced to look for lodging elsewhere. Needed to be at an event early next morning. Luckily we found something though a bit more expensive. Never again will I attempt to stay at any hotel with this name. I can’t believe someone like this can represent a hotel establishment!

No hot water. Breakfast poor; overcrowded, make your own waffle the only food, half-broken syrup dispenser the only way to get syrup, lipton and nameless decaffeinated tea the only tea. The worst breakfast of any place I have stayed that had breakfast. Also powdered eggs and poor sausage. Will not return.

Check in process was quick and simple. Our room was ready was before check in which helped with our plans for the day. The room was clean but definitely some cosmetic issues here and there, but that doesn’t matter. The room was 425. The AC unit was loud but not unbearable. The downfall of the hotel was the breakfast. It was cold and needed to be reheated on our kitchenette in the room. No big deal, but you’d expect to be able to eat a warm breakfast in the lobby. Otherwise, the room was comfortable, the shower pressure was great and we loved the in shower dispensers for shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. Overall, a decent spot for a weekend trip with quick access to everything (20-45 min drive to destinations like Boston, Salem, etc.).

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend wedding. Room was good size and bedding was comfortable. Be mindful that this is a pet friendly hotel, will hear dogs barking in other nearby rooms. Breakfast was complimentary, but so much room for improvement. No hot options at all. Everything is has to be toasted or microwaved. Good hotel option if you need stay for a night or two.
