The property itself was great. Very clean, very quiet, rooms were excellent. However we experienced something terrible with an employee of the hotel. We had been swimming and the maintenance/pool man had come out to test the pool water. My 2 grandsons were swimming at the other end. He walked over to our chairs where we had Been sitting by the pool and said, I have to throw 2 cups of baking soda into the water because the PH level is a little low but it won’t hurt anyone…. (Here it comes) he continues to say “if anything it will turn those kids white”. Those kids happened to be MY GRANDSONS! , who are black! (Keep in mind, I am white). I don’t think he knew those kids were with us…. What a horrible racist remark. I did tell the front desk at checkout. I really hope they speak to this employee.

This was our first time staying at a Homewood Suites by Hilton and I think it may be our new favorite hotel! First of all, easy and free parking, check in was a breeze and the hotel smelled clean. Not in an overwhelming "bleachey" kind of way, just an overall clean smell. Our room was spacious with a firm mattress (which we love) and a spacious shower with fantastic water pressure. The morning breakfast had the usual breakfast items and made it easy to start our day off with a healthy breakfast. Location was quiet and no issues. Really loved the hotel and will plan to stay there again next time we're in town.

Had an awesome hotel experience at this place. Easy check in, friendly staff, very nice complimentary breakfast with great diy waffle station and the best coffee ive had at a hotel. Clean efficient rooms with a sleeper sofa and comfortable bed, wall mounted tv with rotoscoping bracket so you could turn it toward either side of room. Clean walk-in shower , kitchen was a hit !! Complete with dishes and stove ready to serve a meal, dishwasher and sink. A great place to stay with thoughtful extras everywhere. I mean seriously, a hotel with a Basketball court, an outdoor lounge area and a Barbecue grill ? Just awesome My only issues were the Curtains in the rooms didn't offer complete privacy and darkening of the room , Low toilets, and somewhat awkward closet area but these were minor issues.

Hotel was clean and very updated. Staff was friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal provided. Pool and gym were nice as well. I was excited to find I didn’t have to be checked out until noon. Rounding up my four kids and all of stuff is always a hassle and the extra time was very nice.

Every staff member I encountered was very pleasant and helpful. When I did a search for a hotel I put in INDOOR POOL. This was a staycation for my grandkids to swim. The search criteria gets more and more complicated. I learned you need to call the property to verify. This property did NOT have an indoor pool. MY MISTAKE. The manager and staff were great! Just wish I had called the property😩.

this place was beautiful and the rooms were very large in the bathroom was lovely. In a very strange location, but we managed to get around just fine. The front desk clerk was like lurch from the Addams family. Not helpful at all, never smiled.

I had a 5 night stay here with my boyfriend for Louder than Life 2023. The staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent, and most importantly the room was comfortable, clean and silent. The hotel was fully booked and we never heard another soul while we were in the room. Housekeeping stops by if requested but does not come daily so there is a lot of privacy too. The only issues we had were with the toilet. Whenever we sat on it it shook and rattled and the flush was very weak, however maintenance fixed it immediately. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again! There is plenty of shopping and dining nearby and the area felt secure and pleasant.

I waited 3 hours for them to tell me they only had one pack and play and deliver the other, way past the bed times for the kids, I had to figure something out on the fly, they should have just let me know when i checked in, even though i called 3 weeks in advanced.

This is our 2nd time at Homewood!! We can to Louisville for a music festival. We love the fact that we have a full kitchen! The suite is clean and beautiful! The grounds around the hotel are quite and SAFE! The breakfast is Wonderful! It's a hot breakfast too that is included! I hate the places that throw a box of doughnuts out and call it breakfast! Ryan at the front desk is a Rock Star! Everyone of of the Employees are Great and Nice!! Ready to help with anything!! The only thing is didn't like is the shower pressure in room 139. But that I will deal with a million times over! Any time I am Louisville, I am staying here! Thank you Everyone!

We can’t wait to go back again! The hotel is beautiful, new and spacious. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was like a large apartment including a full kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. There are lots of restaurants and stores nearby as well as distilleries. The front desk staff, Zack, was very welcoming.

The staff were very nice, professional and very helpful. My only wish would have been for hooks on the bathroom wall to hang bathrobe or make up bag. It was convenient to E.P. Sawyer Park and Downtown. We enjoyed our stay!

Had a nice stay, employees were very friendly, especially the food area employees. Did ask for room to be serviced on one of the days and it wasn't, so we had to go to front desk for towels. We stayed in a 2 room suite and it was very spacious. Enjoyed the happy hour snacks, wish they would have done everyday we were there. Will stay here again when in town.
