Staff was great. They did try to charge $10 per day for parking. If you complain they waive the fee. Why try to take advantage of people? The bathroom is so small the door literally hits the toilet. Other than that it was a great room.

Very disappointed. One reason we booked this was for the pool for my kids. Without notice, the pool was completely green and unable to swim in it. We also had to PAY For parking in the parking lot of the hotel we Already paid for! The ice machine was broken. And when I woke up there were ants everywhere. We will never book here again.

It was adequate. The tip of the ice berg was the $10. Charge to park. We came from different cities so we had to pay $20. The breakfast was not particularly good. My husband took a couple of bites and threw it away. The door to the bathroom was too big for the room as it hits the toilet seat each time. Service was overall good. However we had an issue checking in. I get the room through hotels.com. I did not have my husband listed on the room and frankly didn’t know I could do that to a reservation. Nonetheless she had a hissy fit. My husband had the same name and credit card and she gave attitude. He thankfully could call me and I gave her permission. She was obviously upset that we billed through hotels.com. So we won’t return. The parking charge is ridiculous. Never happened in the past 4 times we’ve been here.

Stay was ok bathroom small but they don’t tell you that you have to pay for parking after traveling all day the first thing you want to do is get into your room but they make you scan a code and pay for parking which is really lame and not disclosed for when making reservation . It’s just a normal parking lot no one/security is watching your car

Nice comfortable king mattress, large suite like room, variety of hot and cold breakfast items, selection of drinks in the evening from the bar, friendly staff, convenient location for the zoo and mega cavern. Would stay here again.

We had a good time. Breakfast was typical. Nothing special but not bad. My biggest complaint is the size of the bathroom. The shower and toilet were enclosed, with the sink out in the room. The door to the bathroom was really close to the toilet so you had to squeeze between the toilet and shower to close the door. Would have been really difficult for a larger human. And the faucet on the sink was too far from the edge. It should have been longer or placed closer so you aren't hanging off the sink to wash your hands. The only other issue I had is that you have to pay for parking -$10/day. It is that property's right, but hotels.com did NOT specify that in the listing, and no one mentioned it at the desk when we checked in. So we didn't find out until we realized there were signs about paying for parking. Just seemed like a surprise fee that we should have been warned about it.

This might be up there as the absolute cleanest hotel I've stayed in! The staff were lovely and my only complaints was the A/C was a little bit loud at times and the bathroom was a bit small to sit on the toilet for me, but I'm 6'5" so this happens on occasions. Beyond that, the shower was lovely, the bed was comfortable and again, it was SO clean!

I’ve stayed at Hyatt hotels before but they were all cleaner than this. Weird stains on the mini refrigerator door, doors scratched and damaged, wallpaper starting to peel in certain areas in the hallway, tiles damaged in the shower, and random hairs on the pillows.

The property is decent. It was convenient to restaurants and you could walk there. The rooms could use some updates as our bathroom was tiny and paint peeling off the ceiling. My original bedding had some stains but housekeeping changed them. Breakfast was okay. The price for the stay didn’t match the quality to me

Terrible. The carpet in our room was so dirty. I don't know when it was last cleaned, but it was filthy. The air conditioner was noisy and leaked, so the carpet by it was wet. Fan in bathroom was broken. They charge you to park your car in their lot. Hyatt used to stand for excellence. They have fallen far from that mark.

The location was clean enough. The bed is really hard, the room did not have enough plugs by the bed to accommodate 2 cpaps. 1 of us had to sleep on the couch. The bathroom door had to have a cut out to close the door because there was barely room for the toilet. The breakfast was so-so.

Relaxing stay. The room was generously oversized with both a fridge and a microwave. The food was good, and the onsite micro bar had a great vibe. The property is located close to shopping and food options in a newer area of the Metro. Took us about 20 mins to get downtown. The one TV for for the bed area / other side of the partition seating area was quirky (wired viewing angle), and the bathroom door hitting the toilet whose handle was broken were annoying. Overall, I would stay again.

Fairly nice place, but shower/toilet room was VERY small and ventilation was terrrible. Sink/vanity and closet area was very big. Double beds were small - not sure why they don't have queen beds. There was a very large sectional sofa. The sofa bed was TERRIBLE. The area surrounding the hotel is excellent, good selection of restaurants and some shopping. Very clean and safe area. Overall, for the money, I expected a more comfortable room - it was just poorly designed.

The living area of the room was nice and comfortable. The bed was not great and the pillows might as well have been nonexistent as they did not provide any support. The bathroom barely had enough room for the door to shut. The check in process was okay.

It was super convienient, the staff was friendly and it was clean. The room was huge. Theres no microwaves in the rooms, no ice machine on the first floor, they make tou pay extra ro park which should be part of the room fee, my matress was worn out,the bathroom door has a notch cut out of it so ot doesnt hit the door and rhe shower makes a loud squeeling sound while its on

The property is in a central location and easy to get to dining, shopping etc. overall the hotel is in a great location. Now the not so great parts. Upon checking in, the hotel staff were very rude. Did not want to tell me how much incidentals were being held on my card. It wasn’t until I threatened to leave that I was offered that information. I was not informed that parking was a fee. So as empty as that lot was, it was $10 a day plus $2 for processing that payment on the phone. When I asked why this was not listed as hotel parking costing money nobody had an answer. The bathroom was dirty, no cleaning staff came to our room despite us not having the do not disturb sign on our door. Hotel staff shared it was cleaned prior to us arriving however, hair was in the shower and sink. What makes this stay so disappointing is that a year ago, I stayed in this very same hotel and had such a great experience and the staff were so nice. Not sure what changed but man, this makes me so sad because I visit this area at least once a year and I most likely won’t stay here again :-( Hope others have a better experience.

I had booked a double bed room. When I checked in all they had were King rooms. They said since I booked through you that my room type was not guaranteed. I wish I had known that because I would of booked direct with the hotel. The fold out couch is just box springs with ZERO padding. So I did not sleep last night.

Absolute worst customer service!!! Made a mistake when booking the reservation. Tried to fix the date and they refused to issue a refund so i could book the correct date and just took my money instead. Never want to stay at a place that treats people in that manner.

They initially booked me into a room that already had people in it and then charged my card for that room the next day even though they assured me it would not happen. They then could not figure out why I was charged, (yes, finalized), and could not, would not help with refunding. Now I have to dispute that charge with my card company. Calling corporate is useless and this hotel staff is an incompetent joke. Say away!!!

We stayed at the Hyatt place Louisville East this past weekend (6/28-6/30) and had a bad experience as soon as we checked in we were assigned to room 204 we went up opened the door and did not enter, because as soon as I opened it I noticed the room was not clean bed wasn’t made and there was someone’s belongings by the couch and on the little table. I went down stairs told the lady at the front and she asked me if I was serious twice then said “it has to be squatters because there is no way I could have checked you into a room that was already occupied” then asked me “was there anyone in the room or did anyone see you go in?” I replied with “I didn’t see anyone but I didn’t go in I only opened the door and I’m not sure if anyone seen me”. She then said “I am assigning you to room 300” and gave me 2 new keys. I informed her that my fiancé and I travel to Louisville every other weekend and would like to book in advance if that was possible. She said “lest wait and see how you like the stay first then we will go from there” she had me write down my email address but I never heard from her! Then Saturday our room never got clean and we didn’t receive any clean towels, not a big deal on the room we just wanted towels to shower with. At 10:30pm we had just got back to the hotel and asked for some clean towels and she told us “I’m fresh out of towels there are some being washed so if you come back down in 20-40 minutes and ask the laundry room they can give you some then!

This hotel was AMAZING!! We celebrated my daughter's birthday and we were well taken care of! The front desk receptionist took the time to decorate our door, with print outs and a birthday banner; gave her cookies; spent her own money on dip n dots ice cream and even found the definition of her name and printed/laminated it for her!! The pool was amazing and the entire place is clean and well kept! The breakfast was awesome as well! We will absolutely be back

Relaxing stay. The room was generously oversized with both a fridge and a microwave. The food was good, and the onsite micro bar had a great vibe. The property is located close to shopping and food options in a newer area of the Metro. Took us about 20 mins to get downtown. The one TV for for the bed area / other side of the partition seating area was quirky (wired viewing angle), and the bathroom door hitting the toilet whose handle was broken were annoying. Overall, I would stay again.

Excellent rooms, and very delicious breakfast that changed each morning. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The only complaint is the bathrooms are pretty small but otherwise the rooms were great. The beds were comfortable and lots of restaurants nearby

The property was very well kept. When I asked an employee if the place was brand new his response was surprising! He mentioned the age and I was surprised...it looked much newer. Only negative was that, although there were signs with pictures of great food in the elevators, the restaurant was not open yet!

Bad breakfast and bad service in the restaurant. I asked for something and it never arrived, good coffee, good reception service I went with my family I used the sofa bed and it is pure springs very old and pitiful I could not sleep at all

We were very disappointed with this hotel. We were traveling 7 hours there with a small child and we booked this specific hotel because it states that there is a bar that serves food and there is ZERO food served there. All of the staff admitted that their website does say that but they do not have anything. Also there was no pool there like it states. I will not return there! False Advertisement!!

Some things are more important than others when it comes to my stay. Being cool is one of them. The air in our room didn’t work well. Called the from desk and she said someone would come right up, no one came. Room was very clean so kudos to housekeeping. Water pressure was terrible. Just not a good night’s sleep because it wasn’t cool. Also, $10 for parking. Come on now, we’re not downtown. This wasn’t premium parking. You shouldn’t nickle and dime customers.
