Excellent 1BR suite, lots of space, large kitchenette, balcony with river view and view of whiskey row, hot water, good pressure, clean linens, comfy beds, nicely decorated. Great location for bike trails, restaurants, bars, etc. Friendly staff, encouraged us to keep bikes in the room. Paid parking $25/day and not directly connected to hotel, so you have to use separate elevators. Starbucks has limited hours. Overall a great visit.

Pool was great. Convenient to Yum Center a restaurants within walking distance. Staff was great.

We arrived late and dined in the bistro. The bartender sold me on trying an espresso martini. I had 3!! Service and staff were wonderful!

We really like this hotel. It has an attached parking lot with reasonable fees, is close walking distance to the yum center, Kentucky center for the arts, science museum, great restaurants, and bourbon experiences. The bistro has good food and drinks and the staff is always friendly.

Wonderful staff. Elevator to parking garage was out.

Charged me $25 a night for parking which was not in my agreement. Elevators in the parking garage were not working. Had to go up and down the stairs for everything.

The security in this hotel is lacking! They have no cameras in the hotel above the lobby level, nor do they have cameras in the garage above the first floor and the first floor is always full. The doors to the rooms are very sensitive and the lock can be engaged while leaving the room. The hotel management says this “happens all the time”. Apparently we did that and someone came in our room while we were gone. The hotel management said there was no way to determine who might’ve done so because there are no cameras. There are key cards required to enter the hotel, so the hotel is supposed to be secure. However, someone kept putting pebbles under the side doors to leave them ajar. We would kick them out and come back and they would be put back. There are a lot of homeless people, and mentally ill people roaming the streets close to this hotel, and they were free to come in if they desired We were told by an employee of the hotel that a homeless man had come in and jumped a guest a few weeks ago. On the night of our final stay, someone burglarized our car in the parking garage. They stole about $200 worth of electronic items from the car. Again, no cameras and no way to track down the bad guys. Another guest in our party had their car rummaged through the night before in the same parking garage. Basically, the area is very sketchy and the security at the hotel is not adequate. The location is also extremely noisy and people race up and down the street.

My friend and I picked this hotel for location and the parking garage. The stay was fine but his car got stolen from the parking garage. The general manager and his staff didn’t seem to care as if this happens all the time. And if it does happen a lot then maybe they should update the Parking garage.

The price for parking should be included in the overall price

Bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Filthy shower with hair on the wall. Pubic hair shower gel bottle. Place is in need of a redo. Very run down.

The room could have been cleaner. There were hair clumps and fake nails on the pullout bed. Not a lot of food options inside the hotel. Parking was easy though.

The room was dirty with food left in the open fridge to spoil so the room smelled horrible.

The hotel was fine. Room was basic. We stayed here for a convenient location. There was an extreme amount of road noise. They provided ear plugs and a sound machine for this reason.

Everyone there was very friendly. Room was great but if you are on the main street side just before the bridge it gets noisey. With the tall buildings cars and trucks sould very loud. It does get better later in the night. I was on the seventh floor and could still jear the traffic.

Sleeps 4 meant a king bed and a child size pull out mattress from the couch. Thw pull out was extremely uncomfortable. The staff accommodated our request for another bed to be brought in to allow sleeping space for 4 adults. It was also not comfortable. Parking is not free.

The hotel was in fine enough condition for me, albeit quite dated. The bed was comfortable and everything worked the way it should. My room had a balcony overlooking Main St. Not a great view (Yum center takes up most of it) and the sliding glass door was filthy. I’m a pretty light sleeper but the noise of the vehicles wasn’t enough to keep me up at night but it can be quite loud - I imagine a busier weekend with bar crawlers could have been worse. They also had ear plugs on the night stand which was thoughtful.

Room was small compared to other places I’ve stayed.

Diane was our bartender two of the nights and she was absolutely a bright point. Love her, great person. As for the hotel it was fine. However the noise from outside was too much. The hotel graciously provided a white noise machine and ear plugs standard. But the noise from vehicles speeding through the intersection was too much. 4am trash pickup was also extreme.

Beautiful room, comfortable beds, great view. Short walk to the KICC, where our event was. Short walk to Whisky Row. Love Louisville!

Room was quiet except for outside traffice, but the hotel kindly supplied earplugs and a white noise machine. Very thoughtful!

Some staff were very friendly and some were not. The elevator and hallways on the floors were BLAZING HOT, thermostat in the hallway read 91 degrees. Our room was good temp wise, but horribly muggy, like everything felt moist. The road noise was terrible all day and all night. To the point of them providing ear plugs and a noise machine in the room. There was a lot of homeless in the area. I had made a reservation through Expedia, prepaid. We decided we wanted to arrive a day early but due to it being prepaid we had to make a second reservation, this one through Marriott. We were able to stay in the same room but I had to check out and back in. We had our dog and it’s a $75 cleaning fee. The person that checked us in assured us that even though we had 2 reservations, they wouldn’t charge a second cleaning fee. Well the person the next day didn’t feel the same way and we were charge a second $75 fee but they did not tell me that was happening until I got my receipt in my email. They never even cleaned our room in the 3 nights we were there. I will be contacting Marriott.

Did not get the room we booked. They put us in handicapped room. Said they didn't have to give us the room we booked because we used a third party service. Another member of our party was Bonvoy platinum and hotel didn't give them the room they booked through the hotel.

I was overbooked at this property and transferred to another Marriott property. Although that worked out fine, the process of using a 3rd party to book a reservation and then not actually getting a room at the booked property is frustrating and needs to be resolved. The manager was excellent by the way in notifying me in advance and things worked out fine.

The front staff was amazing making sure we had everything we needed! Super close to everything!

Staff made check in easy

Hotel was clean and in a great area of town. Off of a very busy road so the noise kept me up a little but no big deal. Bartender on Sunday night was very nice! Every other person I came in contact with during our stay was not so nice. Both men at the front counter, one on Sunday at check-in and one at check out on Monday, made me feel like I was interrupting them when there was no one else around that they needed to assit. The person my husband had at the coffee counter on Monday morning was rude. They had stopped serving food and when he asked where we could go to get breakfast they just shrugged and gave him his coffee. We double-checked with the front desk at 10:30am that check out was not until 12pm and we could leave our stuff in our room well we went to go find food. He said yes but when we returned an hour later (11:30am) our key card no longer worked. I have always had good luck at Maritotts and having never been to Louisville I felt very confident in my hotel choice. I will NEVER stay at this location again. Made me feel like I was a burden during my 1 night stay.

Staff was excellent!

Overall - it was terrific. I have to say, the staff could NOT have been ANY friendlier or lovelier!! You have an AMAZING staff (and it's been a long time since I have said that about a staff anywhere - our world has become so lacking in manners and your staff has them!). It was refreshing to see a team who seem genuinely happy to be at work!! My ONLY frustration was that since I was not a Bonvoy member, we didn't have wifi - and I didn't have time to sit and mess with that when I needed wifi and realized that was the case (even Motel 6 has good wifi that doesn't require hoops to jump through). But, again - the staff was so great, the room was clean, and the amenities were good.

Property was conveniently located in the middle of our Bourbon tastings.

Excellent location. Clean, comfortable and nice staff. However, it's on a main road and traffic is loud. Be sure to bring a fan.

Room was clean and very comfortable. Location was great as we were there for an event at the Yum center. Literally walked out of the hotel and crossed the street to the center. Absolutely perfect.

Courtyard by Marriot - Downtown Louisville was an excellent stay overall! Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was overall very clean. Parking was easily accessible in the garage and there are many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is also conveniently located directly across from the KFC Yum Center. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff was extremely friendly. The room did face the street so you could hear the traffic. Bed was comfortable. I wasn't fond of the layout; tv is off to the side, not in front of the bed, sink is separate from the bathroom. The ice machine was on every other floor. We paid for parking on premises, which i expect, it was guarded. There's a restaurant but no free breakfast.

Finding the entrance to the hotel is next to hidden, circled the block twice and had to call to be told to enter a public garage and go right, and there is a double door to get in. Parking lot elevator was out of order, parked on my room floor and still had to go down a half a flight to get in the hotel. Ordered breakfast waffles, requested no berries, got waffles covered with berries, and kitchen didn't offer to remake, just brought me a plate to scrape berries off. I was too tired to be More demanding . Would still stay here again, super convent to the Convention center, Yum center, River and restaurants

With the exception of the power outage, everything went well. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Hats off to the chef for the lovely drizzle he used on the slice tomatoes. I thought the parking was a bit pricey, but I guess that's to be expected when staying downtown.

No continental breakfast available. Rooms cleaned every other day and no microwave available. No business area available with computers and printers. The only good thing about this location is the EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE from the front desk staff.
