It was in a great location. The booking says it provides an outdoor pool, however it was an indoor pool. It was also a very cold pool due to the heater being shut off the day before.

We were very happy with our stay. The location was great; we walked everywhere, including Fourth St Live, Whiskey Row, NuLu, and the Big 4 Bridge. I liked the vibe in the lobby/bar/breakfast area. Staff was attentive and friendly. Nothing fancy about the rooms, but it was okay for our needs. My only criticism is that the bed was not very comfortable and the pool was closed.

Pool was closed, no mention of it anywhere. Looks like it's been closed for sometime. Also the pay to park a car is absolutely ridiculous.

Room was very outdated. Drain in the bathroom didn’t work and when you showered you stood in standing water. Hotel gym most of the equipment was broken ans There was a loud humming noise. Ear piercing Pool was also under construction and that would have been good to know at the time of booking seeing that we booked for the indoor pool use. Breakfast was the best part

the hallway on second floor was filthy. Try cleaning the carpet once in a while. The carpet in the room was filthy. Out socks were black on the bottom after a few hours walking without our shoes on. Breakfast was ok. Staff was courteous. Location was good.

Location is nice as it’s close to town, but the rooms are not unkept at all. Bathtub holds water while you shower, toe nail left in the bathroom. Just an older building, which is fine, but it needs a deep clean. Not what I was expecting from the Hampton.

I was very disappointed in this hotel, as I found my accommodations unclean and ill-equipped. When I arrived, the bathroom was not stocked with any shampoo or bath soap. Fortunately, when I made the front desk staff aware of this, they promptly delivered shower gel and shampoo to my room. I was ready to forgive that error, but then, later, when I pulled out an ottoman from below the table where it was stored, I discovered spilled peanuts and a dead bug on the floor. Gross! Had the room even been cleaned? However, by the time I discovered this, it was very late and I was too exhausted after having woken up at 4am for my flight to Louisville to bring yet another issue to the front desk's attention, and I decided that since I was only staying one night, I would just deal. After those 2 incidents I was in a foul mood and kept finding other disappointments: only one side of the bed had a USB outlet to charge my phone, and, unfortunately, that was the side with the spilled peanuts and dead bug on the floor. The windows lacked acoustic insulation so I was continually woken by sirens, loud motors, and a helicopter over the course of the night (there is a hospital nearby, so sirens were rather frequent). There was no clock in the room. The sleep timer button on the remote did not work. All this to say that this hotel fell EXCEEDINGLY far below the standards I expect of a Hampton Inn. I recommend that you seek alternative lodging for your stay in Louisville.

There was a hair in the bathtub, clear tape on the ceiling, and candy under the couch, which made it feel like the room wasn't well cleaned. The location was fine, but there was a lot of outside noise that was audible in the room, especially at night. Both the bed and couch consistently creaked when I sat on them and/or shifted my body (for reference , I weigh 160 pounds). The digital key consistently took multiple tries to unlock the door. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly and accommodating.

Room wasn’t cleaned. Found a sock on the floor from a previous guest…gross. Then took a shower and the tub doesn’t drain so I was standing in water the whole shower. The beds are so creaky and uncomfortable terrible sleep.

Chauntae was lovely at check in and even called to make sure our room was acceptable. The property itself seemed older than other hampton hotels I have stayed in but overall seemed clean and the staff was excellent. Our room was heavily sprayed with Febreeze or some other air freshener to the point it stung my nostrils. The available snacks and ice cream were a nice touch, and Breakfast was hot and fresh. Our bed pillows were the only real negative as they were SO soft and would just collapse so you felt like you were sleeping flat. A smart TV would have also been a nice touch, but we didn’t spend that much time in the room anyway. Overall a great stay for our overnight in Louisville!

Staff was great, but we had a room that was on the side of the hotel facing a busy street. Sleep was impossible due to loud racing cars, ambulances, police sirens, you name it. I feel like the staff should have warned us or given us a room on the backside. I seriously doubt the hotel was full as we never saw or heard anyone on our floor.

The room was nice and clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when I checked in. The pool water was warm so I didn't freeze when I got out. The breakfast was good. My only complaint would be one of the beds in my room was very noisy. It sounded like the box springs was broken. Otherwise, a very nice stay.

The location is great if you want to walk to 4th Street Live! However, our actual hotel room wasn’t in great shape. The door had about a 2 inch gap at the top where it didn’t meet the door frame. The bathroom door had the lock drilled out of it. The shower had rust stains. The air conditioner was so loud with a knocking no side that you couldn’t sleep with it on.

Noisy!! Airplanes,helicopters and sirens!! We could hear every car passing on Jefferson! People outside yelling! Slamming hallway doors! If staying here, try an odd number room.

We were within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, waterfront and attractions like the Louisville Slugger museum and Slugger baseball field. The check in staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had a pleasant stay.

The stay was ok, we picked it for the reviews but were a bit disappointed. The area was ok, parking lot didn't feel as safe as others (lighting not great in all areas and it's easy for non-guests to access). Staff was fantastic, breakfast met expectations, but it was disappointing to find out we had to pay for parking and the WiFi wasn't included without signing up for a rewards program. We needed the WiFi to play my sleep sounds app to drown out the noise of other guests and the street noise. Unfortunately we won't choose this stay again due to the added costs of things that are included elsewhere.

Clean room, nice staff. Hot breakfast looked great, but the taste was far from great, however lots of other options for cereal, make your own waffles, bagels, toast, etc. Most of the outlets in the room did not work which is far from ideal. Great location for the KFC Yum center, walked to it in under 5 minutes and felt safe. Also between the hotel and KFC Yum center was a great little small town area with a lot of dinning options.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. Free breakfast. Convenient shop in store. Front desk workers were very helpful. In walking distance to downtown. Only downside to being right downtown is that there were lots of homeless and people asking for money in the actual hotel parking lot and around rhe hotel. But our car was not disturbed.

Location. Breakfast on Sunday was not good, served until 10am and we were there about 9am, out of biscuits and gravy and not replenished, eggs watery, sausage was just yuck. We had what looked like mold in areas around tub, no fan in bathroom. Air vent outside room was very noisy, constantly sounded like someone was vacuuming!

It was a nice stay per usual at Hampton Inn. We normally always stay at Hampton Inns. Everything was great but if I had to knock something the breakfast was maybe not as good as other Hamptons.

Breakfast was terrible. Bagels - no cream cheese. Waffel makers - no mix. Oatmeal toppings - no oatmeal. No grab and go options. Bar area over run with kids in the evening. Room and property was clean and as expected.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Location is great and overall the property was clean and updated. Our room had some dusty corners and I found someone’s vape behind the curtain so maybe could’ve been a little cleaner but over all it was fine. My kids loved the breakfast.
