Our stay was overall very pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which made for a nice visit. The only issue we noticed was a hole in the bathroom door near the handle on the outside — definitely something that should be fixed. Breakfast was okay, but it would be great to have a little more variety in the non-pastry options, like more hot or protein choices. The pool area was clean and enjoyable, but the hot tub was more lukewarm than hot, which was a bit disappointing. Even with these small issues, my husband and I enjoyed our two-day stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a convenient location. We stayed for one night. Hotel is very dated (but was somewhat expecting this). Could be a little cleaner. Very obvious signs of some wear and tear on the building and pool and hot tub did not appear very clean at all. The water was super cloudy. Overall, it was fine for one night. Staff was friendly but could use some cleaning and maintenance.

The pool had trash in it and the kids could not swim in it. The hot tub’s water was brown with a foam top on it. Beyond unsanitary. It was reported. The rooms had old trash in it, windows falling apart, and in need of major upgrades . This use to be a really nice place.

The room was okay. The beds are VERY uncomfortable and did not do our backs justice. The front desk ladies were very nice and respectful. The hot tub has discoloring on the concrete making it look green but I was still not wanting to soak in it. However, the water was barely warm. The breakfast, if pastries and cereal is your thing, then it'll be a good time for you. Not hot food. Only one ice machine works on the 3rd floor and we were on the first floor. The rooms don't have a microwave or fridge. It's just bare. Not worth the price they charge.

Beautiful facility. The pool was clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that the water was VERY cold and awkward to have to go outside to enter the indoor pool. The breakfast area was large, clean and attractive. However, the continental breakfast was very disappointing. The coffee was good but just donuts for breakfast was not what we were expecting. We had to end up goi g out and payo g for a decent breakfast. The room was clean and nice though two of the lights did not work. It was a comfortable room and nice to have a sofa to relax on. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

1-No hot water 2- Ice maker not working 3- Rug needs a deep cleaning 4- Light out next to bed 5-Bathroom sink broken 6- Pool has not been cleaned, you could tell 4- I had to go down twice because my card was not working 7--The door gets stuck when you try opening it. Would I stay in a Days Inn again? NO. I was on a business trip came back needing a vacation. Thank you

This place has the potential to be lovely. However, it’s obvious the upkeep is low priority. It definitely could use some renovations and TLC. We had to switch rooms twice, because the water in the shower would not get warm. They were understanding, and I had no issues at all with getting the rooms switched. The pools and hot tub need some TLC also, but my kiddo enjoyed them. It was fairly clean, but reeked of marijuana, as most places do these days. Our fridge in our first room didn’t work. The breakfast was disappointing. There were 3 cereal options, some bread to make toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal from a box that you have to make yourself, and some small muffins. There was nothing hot and no protein. Overall it was decent for the time we spend there, and I’d probably stay again. Like I said, it has the potential to be a really nice place if they’d take the time and money to do so

The appearance and up keep of the lobby definitely cat fished us! Walked in to a festive Halloween vibe. We were never greeted. When we approached the front desk, we met two young ladies staring at their phones devouring some Popeyes chicken. After receiving our key we were instructed to request housekeeping and get what we need from the front desk. Otherwise no service would be provided. When we walked in to our room, the door handle fell off, one lamp worked. Bathroom ceiling vent/heater covering was wonky and looked like someone had been doing maintenance or installing a spy camera. The room had a musty smell even with the air on. Blankets were not provided only two flat sheets. When we called the front desk they said they could only provide one bedspread and that we had to come to the front desk to pick it up. (our room was on the 4th floor). Only the ice machine on the 3rd floor worked. Breakfast bar was disgusting and unclean. When we went to the room after our day at Busch Gardens, there was a cockroach on the bathroom floor. Hands down worst place to stay!

I have never left a review of a hotel property, mostly because I find them to be riddled with the same kind of reviews involving bugs or bad service, but I had to leave this review in the hopes that no one makes the same mistake I did. This property is disgusting. Do I think it's disgusting on purpose? No. But regardless, my stay here was the first time I have ever had to leave a hotel because of how dirty it is. The front desk staff was cordial about everything, but I ended up having to call Expedia and have them get a refund back, get my stuff back to my car and then go on the hunt for a new hotel because of the lack of cleanliness. Lack of cleanliness includes previous guests' hair all over the bathroom, a corona bottle cap and bread tie still on the floor and an old insense burned into the AC unit. After requesting another room, the second room I was given had bugs crawling across the bathroom when I turns the light on. Overall, I got the sense that the property as a while needs a lot of help. In the meantime, I do not reccomend you stay here.

I was very excited to stay here for the price to extend our weekend get -away. The low price made me skeptical though so I actually visited the lobby and pool area before booking. Those general areas are clean and great values, my kids LOVED the 9 ft deep-end pool! The rooms though were what I would expect an hourly motel to be; so grosss!!!! Blood on the mattress, our first room had toe nails in the bed from a previous customer so we moved rooms. We stayed anyways because it was late and everything decently priced was booked in the area but only slept on the blood free bed and I required my kids to wear their shoes in the room. I also went down to the Lion Mart and purchased Lysol wipes to sanitize the room for our family. The A/C unit blew out cold area but it smelt like a musty old dorm room of some pot heads. Overall, gross!! However, my kids will remember getting their Jr Ranger Badges at Yorktown from our extended stay and swimming in the 9’ pool. We travel a lot and I’ve noticed we “Win some, lose some” on the hotels.com flash sales. This was definitely a memory we will joke about in the future.

No hot water for the shower one morning. The toilet handle was broken so I had to lift the tank lid off which is blocked by an extended countertop. This left only about 3 inches of room to slide your hand into the tank to find the latch that opens the flapper that flushes the tank.

The room smelled unpleasant upon arrival. There wasn't hot water the first night. The bathroom ceiling was very poorly finished with a hole in the ceiling surrounding the light and plaster everywhere. The mini fridge kept freezing our water bottles. Outlets were very hard to find. Several light switches that didn't seem to turn anything on. The bed was nice... but that was about it

It’s the first hotel I’ve stayed in that doesn’t have a refrigerator of any kind in the room. I thought I would charge my phone but there isn’t any usb outlet anywhere in the room. It’s like a hotel from the 40s. It does have a flat screen tv. Fortunately I am only here for 1 night. I won’t stay here again. Also I took a shower and after an hour I looked at the tub and it still had about 2 inches of water in it. Is all the rooms here maintained that well. Very disappointed

I've had to stay at this hotel a few times over the years and it seems like it was a nice building but now currently isn't properly maintained. There's a lot of spots that need to be repainted, you can see where decorations were removed from walls because the holes and wear marks are still there. Coming up to the building the windows are missing shutters or they're broken or faded. In the room I had this time (and other times as well) the door seal was broken so you can hear everything from outside and it's easy for bugs to get in. There was dirt and food crumbs on the carpet when I got in the room with a lot of build up along the walls and in corners This is also the second time I got a room that didn't have a desk chair. If you're not overly picky with cleanliness it's a hotel that'll do in a pinch. Its a shame because they have both an outdoor pool and a gorgeous indoor pool room and everything photographs very nice but seeing it in person it just looks sad.

There was only one ice machine in the entire building that worked, all the others were out of service. The room we were in had very dirty floors and there were cracks in the sink/walls. There were also issues with reception, sometimes the TV could not connect to any channels and the wifi was very slow.

The associate at check in acted like she hated her job, was more interested in flirting with the guy hanging out there . The room was dirty , there was hair on the walls in the bathroom, the lid did not fit the toilet, there was a huge build up of dust in the corners and along the walls of the room . We stayed 3 nights and was only given 2 towels.I ask for a couple more towels but was not given them. The refrigerator door was actually rusted out at the bottom . Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Check in not friendly. Two cars in the parking lot at 3pm and i was told they were busy and my room may not be ready. Had to fill out check in paperwork even though i had already done it online. Got a text message after checking in to welcome us and see if we needed anything. I asked for 2 extra pillows that were not delivered. Room was dirty. Floors not cleaned properly. My wife showred with pool shoes on because of the tub area. TV never worked properly. Room was very brab. Nothing on the walls except for a mirror. Continental breakfast was just ok. Pool looked green and nasty. Got a text request to fill out checking out info. I thought that was funny. Turned in my room key and got out !!! We stayed there several years ago and it was alot better. It's a shame that Wyndham associates with them. I'm a Wyndam owner but will not be back there. You can do better !

Budget-priced accommodation which to us, was suitable. for our needs during a multi-day visit to Colonial Williamsburg. Breakfast offerings were fine & not unexpected for this class of lodging: A range of cereals, oatmeal, pastries, bagels, bread\toast, yogurt, fruit (apples\oranges), 2 juice selections, water, coffee\tea. Parking was ample. We didn't end up using the pools or hot tub. However, upon our arrival we did walk-thru inspections of each, and these facilities were quite clean at the time. Great location to visit local sites, eateries, shopping- many choices nearby. Staff never failed to respond to any questions or needs we had during our stay.

the customer service was not very pleasant. i encountered some rather rude individuals and it wasn't just one person because i stayed 6 days total and it was pretty much everyday i was treated as if i was not wanted or bothering someone if i had a question. which was rare because i try to stay to myself and avoided having to ask anything because of the rude responses i was given. my first night, tv did not work and i did not have a ice bucket which is important here because they do not have a refridgerator in the rooms which i didn't know prior to booking. but the ice machine came in handy after i got cups from 711 next door to hold the ice. the next issue when changing rooms is tv did not work and bathtub faucet ran heavily and constantly and no shampoo conditioner or soaps were in the bathroom. and cigarette burn holes were in the plastic around the cups for coffee in the non smoking room which i found strange. when i went to the pool with the kids the hot tub looked so dirty like yellow dirty. it did not seem clean at all. over all the stay was not great. not horrible but not great by no means. hope this helps someone.

This is the 5th time I've stayed here and it seems that the quality of service and amenities has declined. Previously we had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. We were informed by email in advance that we would not (after we had booked.) There was no housekeeping...trash and soiled towels were not removed. Although we asked for fresh towels they didn't arrive and when I called to check I was told I could come down and get some at the desk. The desk staff were not very friendly although the breakfast staff were. One morning I could not get any hot water (waiting for 15 minutes) and had to take a cold shower. The main elevator was broken as well. Seems like this property could use an upgrade as it used to be much nicer.

I stayed here for 4nights for sightseeing and Busch Garden trip. I don't drive but the this location was perfect. Only 6mins uber drive from the williamsburg amtrak station. There's a bus station in front of the hotel that goes to williamsburg station(close to the historic area) There's a 7 eleven just 4mins walk away from the hotel so no trouble to get some snack and water. Staffs work this hotel were very friendly and hard working.

The staff at check in were okay, except for the pushy time share salesman that bugged us to death every time we went in or out the front. We started using the side door to stay awAy from him. The breakfast is minimal with a boiled egg, yogurt, danish, and cold cereal. Be prepared for the staff in the breakfast area to lean on the back counter and stare at herself with her back to you the entire time. Even when we spoke to her she ignored us. The rooms are dated and not maintained well. Everything was dusty and there was a constant smell of marijuana in the hotel. The toilet ran all night the window was broken and the shower whistled while it ran. The fountain was green and nasty, and it was just an unclean unkept hotel
