The hotel was comfortable and staff were helpful. Some room features could be improved such as: The tv screen in my room was smaller than a laptop screen and was located too far away. The rain water shower head was not connected.

friendly staff, very good food, comfortable bed. Only negative was a noisy road if you kept the window open during the night

I stayed for one night in a single room with en-suite, a comfortable chair, a desk, teas and coffees. Everything very clean, very white towels and sheets, mattress a bit old but I had a good night's sleep. It's a large old building. I didn't see a lift, so up the stairs and along several corridors to find the room. Breakfast was excellent and very tasty. All the staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

Lovely old building. Lots of different rooms/areas. Good beer. Good food. Our room was a bit tired and could do with a bit of love. New people have just taken over the hotel. Need a bit of time to find their feet. I’m sure they’ll get there.
