Very,nice, staff, incredible. I would recommend this hotel to any one I know.the staff, food, convenience, and attentiveness, is very good. Ace, was a nice person for our escort to sky ranch. Had private walk way for sky ranch. The live music, for breakfast was very nice and took my request's. Pool side, was a guy who’s worked there for 15 years. Given the greatest pool side service. To ourselves. It’s. People like taal vista. The staff, front desk, and room service, I recommend taal resort for,a wonderful stay. Sincerely, sir Michael.

2nd time staying here and stayed for 2 nights. This is fast becoming our fave hotel in Tagaytay. Alwasy enjoyed their breakfast buffet and got to use their simple gym. Love the location. I wished they have a smart tv, though. Will definitely come back with family.

Upon check in I was not told how to access the internet. I later had to call the front desk. I was told how but I was not able to get the internet to work. The refrigerator in the room was not working. The drinks I brought never got cold. The gym was old and small, the aircon was barely functioning. The hotel is old, not worth the money.

The property was probably 5 star 20 years ago, but showing age now. Overly “secure” in my opinion. Guards at gate, at door and inside. Felt more like an institution than a hotel. It’s a very nice hotel but felt a little stuffy for my taste.

**Review of Taal Vista Lodge Stay** (February 25, 2025) I recently stayed at Taal Vista Lodge and had a mixed experience. Here’s a breakdown of my stay: 1. **Room Reservation:** I originally reserved a Superior King Suite with a choice between a Taal Lake view or Mountain side. I chose the lake view, but upon checking in, I was assigned the farthest building, the last room on the topmost level near the fire escape, with no view at all. Unfortunately, no one assisted me with my luggage up two flights of stairs outside of the building. My room faced the Mountain side, but all I could see was the corner of the building. This was quite disappointing. 2. **Spa Experience:** The spa, however, was highly recommendable. The masseuse was on point, and the price was very reasonable. This was definitely a highlight of my stay. 3. **Staff Service:** The staff service was below par, scoring a 3 out of 5. My wife had stayed here three months ago and recommended the hotel, but my experience was just okay. Considering I paid $126 for an overnight stay in this area, my expectations were higher, especially given the hotel’s ratings. Overall, I would rate my stay a 3 out of 5.

Property was beautiful. Control over making our stay was horrible. We opted to upgrade to the Batangas Suite which was an 8000pesos upgrade, only to subjected to horrible housekeeping noises while we were getting out 5000pesos massages, literally a 13000pesos day that went down the drain. The management offered to have us transferred (total inconvenience) to another room. Upgrade waived, and i still had to pay for the massage we DID not enjoy even after 4complaints to the Front Desk of the noise!!! Later we were given 2000pesos off the massage. In retrospect, we should have just stayed in the original booked room. It was much quieter. The F&B Staff led by Anthony and a lead waitress named with Bernadette were amazing!!!!!!!!!! I’d probably stay there again, maybe my stay was just one of those nights.

The rooms that were assigned to us were filthy and smelled terrible (like poop). When we checked in, we asked why the room assigned to us did not have a good view. The receptionist said that if we wanted the better rooms, we have to book directly with the hotel, Taal Vista Hotel and not thru Expedia. We are seniors and we had to walk to another building and several flights of stairs . Room 419 was obviously not cleaned because there is a crayon on the floor. The towels are gray and maybe were white several years ago. As compensation, they gave us 2 boxes of pastries ( ube pan de sal and pandan pan de sal) we later found that these are expiring in 2 days. We had to wait for the bell boy who met us half way to the rooms . We hare carry our luggages because there was no bell boy. Expedia, please take care of this since the hotel treats Expedia customers differently.

Our family loved the food (especially the buffet breakfast), the spectacular view of the Taal Lake, spacious and clean rooms and specially the friendly and helpful staff! We didn’t like that we only stayed for 2 nights. Will definitely recommend it to our friends abroad and will stay longer when we visit Philippines again.

The staff was very pleasant but the original room that they put me in is so dark and when you opened the window it’s practically facing the wall. I was offered a different room for an extra charge which ia my better but they need to invest on better mattress. I slept on the couch the whole 7 days. I was offered extra blanket to cushion the hard bed but it sis not help.

Pefect location near all the favorite attractions. Very caring and polite staff, especially Davine, as she was so helpful & amazing! Another gentlemen, forgot his name, he deserves recognition goong great job giving feeling I am appreciated and an important guest.. Love the cool air conditioning, wifi and the breakfast buffet was so filling and complete!! Our room so spacious and such positive vibe here! When returning, we definitely will stay here.. The security safe adds extra value! My lovely fiancée she so impressed and excited feeling so happy as we ready to marry.. Loved seeing the history of the establishment and Taal volcano with the posters.

I have stayed at other hotels before with about the same rating and even cheaper in price but i was disappointed with the room. It didnt feel luxurious at all for for the price I paid it was not worth it. I guess I thought it would be better the way it was presented before on TV. Anyway there should be more towels already available and have brighter lights in the bathroom. The bed cover should feel more luxurious also and not like being at home type. For the breakfast buffet can they have more variety especially if its for thr Filipino food like danggit and tuyo or something. May sound awful to whoever is reading this review but we have stayed at other places and they do not shy away from serving these food. And for the fruits there should be more of a variety also because just passing through the market place there is so many to choose from.

The facility was beautiful. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The views were spectacular. The breakfast buffet was delicious and there were so many options. There was even a string trio playing during breakfast. The only problem we had was that we couldn’t stay longer. Will definitely be somewhere we come back to over and over

My husband and liked the Taal volcano view, so refreshing to walk around the facilities, the buffet breakfast has variety of foods to savour. We loved it. We enjoyed the three musicians singing for us while we ate, it warmth our hearts. We will definitely stay here again for a quiet and relaxing vacation.
