Fox Glacier Lodge

Everything was clean and the receptionist was very helpful. The chalet is pretty and very comfortable. The only issue was the laundry that only accept coins. Impossible to find coins these days. Except for that, everything was perfect

Nice lodge in a great place.

What's not made clear is that the rooms here are next to a campervan park which is part of their complex. Therefore you hear van doors shutting all the time which is disruptive. Noise travels between the walls a bit too. Other than that the room is spacious, clean and comfy with everything you need in terms of amenities. In short, great room, bad setting.

Great location in a van park. Loved the free glow worm walk. The skylights don’t have any covers as yet so the light comes in early in the morning - they have ordered some though!

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious and comfortable. Only problem was the high skylight that could not be covered so you got woken up at sunrise by the morning sun streaming in. I'd rather have a lie in on my holiday.
