The room was lovely and spacious. Very clean. Bed was lovely and big. The only thing that was a bit unnerving was the door lock. The locks on the door aren’t particularly safe and with our room being on the ground floor made it feel a little insecure. However, the complimentary water and hot drinks in the room was extremely handy! The breakfast catered for all with either a help yourself option or you could order something to be made off the menu. Couldn’t fault the breakfast at all. The only downside I would say, with our room being on the ground floor, the upstairs felt very noisy. We could hear every foot step and creak through the floor/floorbards. Appreciate this is a little out of their hands, but given we’d been at a wedding the day before, being woken up by stomping upstairs wasn’t hugely appreciated at 7am. This being said, we’d definitely stay here again but perhaps request a room above. Thank you for a lovely stay! X

We let the hotel know we were staying here on the two nights of our wedding weekend and they were very welcoming. When we arrived, a gentleman member of staff offered to take our bags to our room, which had been upgraded! In the room was a sweet message congratulating us. 5 minutes later the man returned with some bubbles for us! Such a lovely touch. The room was well equipped with dressing gowns, slippers, vanity kits, complimentary bottled water, biscuits and a variety of teas and coffees in addition to a nespresso machine. It was comfortable with the option of aircon/heating. The room was spacious and had plenty of storage and hanging space. Breakfast was good. The stock of cold cuts, cheese and some other bits could have been refreshed a bit more promptly as we did find ourselves asking for replenishments a couple of times even though there 3/4 staff in the room. The omlette was definitely the best choice for the hot breakfast and the different juices were delicious.

Very friendly reception staff. Bar could be more efficient. Rooms are a little dated, and whilst we appreciated the dog friendly rooms not all dog owners were responsible and left their dogs unattended.
