I stayed at Stathotels Grand Milan for the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games 2026. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city centre and was an ideal location because there is a train station near to the hotel with good transport links. After a long day of sightseeing and attending Olympic Games events, it was nice to come back to the hotel and relax in there beautiful spa and rooftop swimming pool. The hotel also has a gym, sauna and steam room. The hotel serves a delicious breakfast and the staff are courteous and always willing to help. Outstanding experience!

Há estadias que marcam e esta é uma delas, pela positiva. Super recomendo. Ótima localização para quem quer visitar tanto Milão, como Lago Como, Lombardia e até Suíça (Lugano). O hotel tem um ótimo restaurante e bar com bons preços e excelente comida, com serviço de quarto disponível. Recomendo as pizzas e a massa com castanha. O hotel também dispõe de uma piscina coberta (excelente para estadias nos dias mais frios) com jacuzzi, sauna, banho turco e ginásio. O uso de touca na piscina é obrigatória, levem consigo na bagagem ou podem adquirir na recepção (porém tem o custo de 5 euros cada). O hotel também dispõe de parque de estacionamento gratuito limitado no exterior ou parque coberto pagante. A zona é calma, tem um supermercado Aldi do outro lado da rua e um Mc’donalds a 6 minutos de carro. Os funcionários são excelentes, muito simpáticos. Em relação aos quartos, o nosso era uma suite, espaçosa, moderna e limpa. A limpeza diária tem um custo adicional de 4 euros mas gostei muito do trabalho das senhoras da limpeza. No quarto tem disponível roupão e chinelos para uso.

The hotel had many rules and regulations, but absolutely no enforcement. We were forced to sign a bunch of papers about pool behavior, and when arriving at the pool it was pure mayhem, with few guests breaking all rules and scarring the rest away with loud and inappropriate behavior. Hotel had no surveillance of pool and fitness, which was messy from guests leaving towels and drinks. When personnel were made aware of issues with noisy and inappropriate behavior at the pool, they did little or nothing to fix this. Breakfast was ok.

Hôtel de passage, très propre. À 35 minutes de Milan et à côté de l'autoroute. Parking gratuit (très pratique) mais attention au lundi matin, nous avons eu un pv sans faire attention car il ne fallait pas se garer juste devant l'hôtel (il y avait un panneau que nous n'avions pas vu). La piscine n'est pas chauffée et elle était vraiment froide. Chaussons/tongs et bonnet de bain obligatoire. D'où mon étoile en moins.

The reception staff were not very clear in communication throughout the duration of the stay, one receptionist seemed very dismissive. The room was not cleaned once despite requesting it to be cleaned and leaving a notice on the door. The breakfast that is served is very limited, not a range of foods available for different dietary requirements. Overall, it wasn’t a very satisfying stay and I would recommend to avoid this hotel.

I had stayed at this hotel last year and loved it, but this year I was disappointed. The housekeeping staff did a terrible job cleaning the room. The front desk staff was hit or miss. Some employees were friendly but others were grumpy and didn’t even say hello when we passed by. Denise, in particular, was very nice and we appreciated her help. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly and professional. The buffet breakfast was average. The location of the hotel is excellent for making day trips to the villages around Lake Como and Lake Maggiore.

The hotel was super clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all very friendly. The location is perfect to make day trips around Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Bergamo, Milan, Ticino, etc. You can reach all these places in around an hour. The only minor complaint I have is that twice I called reception to send up extra towels but I never received them. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again. A special thanks to Francesco at reception who was very welcoming and helpful.

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Lobby and rooms were clean and nice. Room was a good size. Bed was uncomfortable, didn’t sleep well. Based on everything else I would assume it was the exception and would definitely consider staying again but would read reviews to be sure that I just got the one bad bed.

First and foremost i will like to Thank the staff there for being so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was very nice beautiful inside clean rooms the food and bar was very delightful! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a lavish hotel and the price not being overpriced while enjoying the high end amenities. Transportation was walkable. Albergo generico e nulla di che. Le mochette di tappeto se non viene pulito bene, odora e sporca come in questo albergo. A colazione prosciutto e edamer erano piú sudati di me e puzzavano. Per fare il check in abbiamo messo 20min abbondanti dove bastava fare copie dei documenti e farci salire visto che avevamo 3 bambini di età inferiore a 10. Come ultimo regalo, dopo aver pagato quasi 500€ per due camere per una notte, al momento del check-out ho chiesto una bottiglietta d’acqua in plastica da dare alla mia bimba che é stato in ospedale tutta la notte che mi é stato negato se non avessi pagato “2€”!!! Vergonoso!!!

Ramesh was very helpful! We arrived before check-in time and we only waited a little while before our room was ready and he answered all our questions and didn’t make us feel bad because we spoke little Italian. You have to remember customer service isn’t the same as it is in the US so you have to be reasonable but they did an excellent job.

Great location if you travel by car. Only 5 minutes to walk to Saronno train station, then 20-25 minutes by train - and you are in Milan. By car it will take up to an hour to get to the city center.

Bruno at check in was very friendly and was able to get us into our room early after we arrived ahead of schedule. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Area is a little rough but is only a five minute walk from hotel to train south to central Milan or north to Como. Big luxury condo building under construction across the street which should improve the area. I’d be interested to see what it is like five years from now.

It's a hidden gem far side of Milan area. We picked this hotel based on proximity to Milan center and and Malpensa airport. Great value for a four star hotel. The room we had is quite nice, more modern compared to others we stayed into. Breakfast for a fee but there's quite a variety.

Good location- 5 mins walk to the Malpensa express train station at Saronno which is great for our next day early morning flight from Malpensa. Ok dining options, not so good on grocery stores- Aldi and COOP is near, but the quality and selections are not good. Very good restaurant Ristorante Pizzeria I Due Ladroni S.r.l.is within 5 mins walk- excellent pizza and seafood choices.

Schönes modernes Hotel mit wirklich großen Zimmern. Nicht wirklich zentral gelegen und Restaurants etwas weit weg. Hotel Restaurant ist absolut NICHT zu empfehlen. Magere Auswahl und geschmacklich sehr schlecht. Essen war wirklich nicht gut! Deswegen nur 3 Sterne.

Le petit déjeuner du matin était correct mais sans plus. Le personnel aimable mais peu présent. Bonne literie, salle de bain avec baignoire, propreté parfaite. Manque de prise électrique. Piscine un gros plus avec le hammam. N’allez pas au restaurant de l’hôtel c’était vraiment pas bon. Viande beaucoup trop cuite, poisson bien cuit : prix déraisonnable. Pour Hotel.com je ne trouve pas que nous soyons considéré comme VIP gold
