Staff seemed very nice on check-in. I'm not a fan of hotels that have your room in a seperate building to the main facilities, and unfortunately this is the case here. To be fair though the receptionist could see my disappointment (the weather was awful so it meant getting rained on every time i went for food), and she did ask if i would prefer a room in the main building. I didn’t want to be fussy so i politely declined. The room was a little dissapointing for such a grand building. A bit soulless, but certainly spacious and adequate. Unfortunately for me the mattress was very firm and i ended up sleeping on top of pillows for comfort. For dinner i opted for soup of the day which was delicious, and then the breaded chicken with garlic green beans. It was basically a schnitzel, and was very tasty, but it seemed to be served on a bed of garlic oil which made the experience very greasy. Not brilliant. Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs on Sourdough Toast with Sausages. Sausages were delicious. Unfortunately the Sourdough toast came out dry with no butter. Parking: 10/10 On-site & Free. Waiters: 10/10 Polite & Helpful. Reception:10/10 Polite & Helpful. Room: 7/10: Seperate building. Bland. Bed: 6/10: Hard Mattress. Shower: 6/10: Low pressure. Dinner: 6/10: Greasy & unhealthy Breakfast: 8/10: Flask Coffee & Dry Sourdough Overall 6.5/10

Absolutely stunning Georgian mansion converted to a hotel and winery. Separate glass roofed dining pavilion. Beautiful views across the valley from the large windows. One amazing place! You feel like landed gentry staying here (but the price was very reasonable) A must do if you are travelling through this area and not far from Bath.

It was ok we didn’t stay in the hotel but in the coach house lot of noise people coming and going till 1am lovely hotel but will check next time we book to make sure we are in the hotel

A bit of a disappointment that the Vineyard is no longer in commission and hasn't been for a while to judge by the state of it.

Stayed for our wedding anniversary. We were met with a warm welcome by the receptionist, despite our late arrival. We had a room in the Coach house, which was a short walk (outside) from reception. The room was clean and well furnished, bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the shower decent. The only thing missing was a fridge. The room was very hot, with no air conditioning & only one window, but they did provide us with a fan when we asked at reception. Breakfast was excellent: staff were friendly and helpful, the buffet was good quality and the conservatory and nice place to enjoy it all in. The outdoor seating by the bar is a lovely place to relax with a drink, providing a lovely view across the valley.

Nice quiet location, a few minutes drive from Bradford-on-Avon and convenient for visiting Bath and Bristol. I understand that this is a popular venue for events (e.g. weddings etc) but luckily there were none booked during our weekend stay so we had peace and quiet.

Professional, helpful and friendly staff. Good location, within walking distance of Bradford-on-Avon. Well maintained grounds with stunning views across the Wiltshire countryside. There is no lift at Leigh Park Hotel.

Lovely grounds there was a wedding reception when I was there whent on a bit late so keep me awake but it was ok apart from that

Location was good for touring around the area. Was hard to find a car park while there was a function running one night during our stay but very easy for the rest. Housekeeping was disappointing and didn’t service the room and the kettle needed a good clean inside it.

The rooms were really smelly. We complained but the hotel was full and they couldn’t move us. They opened the window and sprayed air freshener but the smell returned. We had a very uncomfortable night!

It is ok for short trips. The temperature in the room is too hot. The hotel has lots of cobwebs above chandeliers etc.. The restaurant in the hotel Is just average. The stuff friendly.

I really wanted to love this place, we booked on the night and really liked the look of the place however, we stayed during a heatwave (27degrees) no air conditioning and the window only opened a slight bit so was really hot! With the window open you could hear noise from the road and cars in the carpark. Also the bedsheets felt weird to touch and there was a slight smell of urine which was quite noticeable and unpleasant.

Convenient for Bradford on Avon. Our room was double aspect and big. Comfy bed and lovely views. Hotel has nice grounds and we had a drink on the terrace one evening. First night our room was not serviced. The duty manager kindly attended to our room straight away and did a great job. It was not explained at check in that cleaning is on request. The matter was quickly & professionally resolved. It's a nice old hotel in a great location but some areas could do with an update. All in all I would stay again as the room was large, plenty of parking and a short walk to Bradford on Avon.

Found some cobwebs in the bedroom. Room ok but were rudely awoken by glass collection lorry although it said no lorries past the point for the coach house. Had to ask for gluten-free biscuits in the room although had previously said gluten-free required. Staff helpful and courteous.

Perfect for a stopover visiting bath. Room was good size and very large bathroom, but there was a slight musty smell and the bathroom was very cold as the only form of heating was the towel rail which wasn’t working properly. Lovely old building and very helpful staff.

enjoyed our stay at the hotel but a couple of complaints need addressing 1. the shower basin was very slippery and dangerous. 2. the blackout curtains did not meet when pulled and therefore no blackout. 3. the duvet was obviously a winter tog and needed to be changed to a summer tog. 3. the hot water tap over the bathroom handbasin did not turn in the right direction turned in a left handed direction and the H in the middle of the tap kept falling out when being used. Apart from these things I have pointed out the staff were very friendly, the breakfast staff very accommodating and the hotel was quiet.

We were with friends they booked direct we booked with hotels.com .We arrived early ,room wasn't ready ,thought being a Friday and first day of Christmas market rooms would be not have been busy and ready, as car park was empty assumed no one was there .They weren't ready until 2.45pm .When we went to our room we feel like we were in the staff area( as members of staff in rooms next door !) and room was cold.We went to our friends room which was in another building and it was lovely and warm. Parking was ok in afternoon but when returned later evening cars parked everywhere and were badly parked as struggled to get in the entrance and no where to park so had to ask and the staff who moved their car so could park in a space. Then when went to room later to go to bed we pulled back duvet to 2 blood spots on sheet , (see attached photos) as it was late we turned the sheet upside down so was then at bottom of bed .This was very noticeable and shouldn't have been left on bed as was off putting . We did mention this to reception in morning but didn't seem bothered .Breakfast was disappointing too, hash browns soft , beans and mushrooms tasteless, elements gone on toaster so only cooked one side ,tea very weak and weren't made aware fried eggs available unless you asked .

Lovely hotel but extremely hot due to no air conditioning I also bought my own fan and had this on all night plus I had the last fan at reception. Room was nice but one side the bed had hardly any room and I hit my let 3 times in the night trying to go to the toilet. Mattress was very uncomfortable you could feel the springs. Slept very badly due to thehot room and awful mattress. Also the window is right next to the bed and due to heat had to keep it open and I did not feel safe in bed in the night as on the ground floor and having the window open due to the heat made me anxious someone could get in. Such a shame as everything else was really good

We were warmly welcomed on arrival and found our room clean although quite small. We had a lovely view of the beautiful trees outside. I did find the bed rather uncomfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and in an attractive setting.

Was perfect for our one night stay. We’d booked a treat dinner in bath, at Menu Gordon Jones - highly recommend - and this spot was great for driving in and out of bath. Everything was great, didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment. Only downside is the property is a bit noisy, can hear every footstep from upstairs and we were situation on ground floor near the ladies bathroom, so could hear the hand dryer every time I got used. However, the place quietened down naturally at around 11pm and we slept pretty well. Would rebook.

Staff were lovely,very helpful, couldn't do enough for you,decor in room top notch,only one thing not too good,mattress on bed ,no padding,springs digging in body,no toppers to help alleviate problem,however staff put duvets on bed under sheet to help,views from window excellent,breakfast scrumptious,would definitely go back if we had decent mattresses.

On arrival reception was super-helpful and switched rooms around so that a friend and I could have adjoining rooms. I did find it odd that unless you gave reception a credit card on arrival, you could not put anything on the room bill nor could you pay in cash ..... everything had to be paid for on the spot by card. Our rooms in the coach house were just right for both my friend and me - but perhaps some more sound proofing could be added so that not every footstep from the upper floor practically shook the ground floor rooms.

Loud music after 10:30 and then because of the location of the room noisy trash being dumped before 7 am. Problems with hot water part of the time. No complaints, but not a wow experience either.

We stayed here to be close to Longleat Safari park for the weekend. After travelling down check in was amazing and really fast! The hotel is beautiful with lots of character in a quiet location. There is a restaurant onsite too. We stayed in The Coach House which is a lovely little annex. We stayed in room 258. The room was beautiful with coffee tea and hot chocolate. The only downsides are that the bed is very hard I found it uncomfortable. Room 258 is under the stairs and upper rooms so on busier nights it was quite loud and could be bothersome if you’re a light sleeper- it’s also ground floor next to the car park but this was fairly quiet! The shower is a fixed head not a wanderlead but the water pressure is good! Overall a beautiful hotel and we would stay again if the mattress was a little softer! Thankyou for a beautiful stay!

Staff friendly and attentive. First night absolutely fine. Second night not so good. Room not serviced but we managed to find someone to get more coffee/milk etc. Went down to dinner early. Mains came quite quickly. There were 2 couples and then a table of 8 arrived. Their order was taken then our dessert order was taken. We were then told by the waitress that there would be at least a half an hour wait for our dessert!! We found this unacceptable and left the dining room. It's unbelievable that the chef/kitchen staff couldn't cope with 12 people in the restaurant at the same time and a delay of 30 minutes was acceptable. If the restaurant had been busy we could have been more understanding. It was a special anniversary for my husband and I, so it was really disappointing.

Excellent value for money. Spacious rooms, large comfy beds. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and with a lovely view of the Vineyard. The disappointing element came with the Breakfast. One of the yoghurt pots - when opened - had a thick layer of mould growing in it. When raised as a concern to the staff - there was a distinct lack of care and urgency. Not a single other pot was checked. For a 5 star Food Hygiene rated establishment - I would have expected better. The staff at evening meal were much better - and the staff at reception were very attentive. Shame about the breakfast staff really.

Strange-shaped room, which was too hot and stuffy, but no way to cool down. Tea/coffee facility had a cup and a mug, so had to get that changed. Only one glass in the bathroom, toilet didn't flush properly. Food in the restaurant was nice, but staff forgot to put it through the system, so checkout took longer. Overall, a nice place with pleasant staff and good price for close to Bath. Just a few niggles that would have made the stay better

My partner and I stayed here for a few night for our anniversary. It was lovely! Very peaceful and great location. You could walk to the village in about 10-15 minutes and everyone was very friendly.

After a day in Bath, I chose the Leigh Park so as not to pay for parking. How much more I got! The beautiful setting and nice room was a calming place after more than three weeks of travel. After an early breakfast, we could easily reach our next destination, Stonehenge.

Bed was very comfortable and the room large and airy. The hotel is in a peaceful location with nice grounds near both Bradford on Avon and Bath. Did not have breakfast but evening meal was good and the staff were cheerful and helpful.

My wife and I were visiting Bradford on Avon for a one night stay. The hotel was further away from the Town Centre than we thought regards walking distance. Our room ( no 45 ) was on the 2nd floor.No lifts were available and the spiral staircase and 2nd staircase were quite steep. The bedroom was cold ( no radiators were working) but there was a freestanding portable electric heater available. The bedclothes were cold feeling damp and the room never heated up.The shower was noisy having some sort of pump fitted but there was a strong damp smell in the bathroom itself.

Nice hotel, great location 15 minutes from town centre by foot. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast.

We only stayed one night as a stopover coming from and going to other sights. We enjoyed the walk into town and had good dinner options. The room was as described. We have paid more for less so this was decent value.

Lovely Hotel set in lovely grounds including a vineyard, great dining area in a well lit conservatory, Room well lit however TV went on the blink with picture breaking up frequently. Nice bathroom, just needs a little attention to make sure shaving light works, blue and red sink tap inserts kept popping out everytime taps were turned on and shower only really got luke warm with not much pressure. nice selection of evening meals and friendly service during the evening meal and breakfast. Food at breakfast was ok but bacon ran out and it took about 15mins to get replenished when I mentioned it to the waitress. I had finished the rest of my food by then and thought it was a little steep at £15 as hash browns and scrambled egg were running really low too. Other than that it was comfortable for a last minute stay over

Dinner was just delicious. Breakfast yummy. Service A+.

Lovely old mansion property in a good position overlooking the valley near Bradford on Avon. Good sizeable room and king bed, but slightly disappointed with the bed, a little hard; I was turning many times in the night due to being uncomfortable; needs a mattress topper and the pillows were quite hard too. I'm afraid the likes of Premier Inn beat this property hands down on these issues. I would have expected better for the price of the property. Sunday morning breakfast was disappointingly, a buffet; average at best, leather bacon as usual in a buffet; eggs other than scrambled, to order. And NO MARMALADE! They were out of stock - that really isn't good enough!
