Super 8 by Wyndham Fairmont

Overall its great for the price. However 2 things...for the first time there was some visible dirt on the floor of the room, not much, but was hard to miss. All other areas in room very clean. Also the driveway leading to the property is in need of repair..some rather large holes etc. Again, decent facility for a budget price. Staff is friendly and love the waffles! :)

Woman at check in barely spoke to us as she was on the phone talking to someone. Floors in the hall were all torn up, no carpet but boards. They were renovating and boxes were sitting in hallway. Side door was propped open smokers could get back inside. One sheet had something pink on it. We reserved a king room and was given 2 queens which weren’t a queen size bed (both beds had queen box spring with a double mattress on top! I stayed awake all night because other doors were being slammed. Nothing quiet about anything. I think being a Wyndham hotel it should have been nicer. No breakfast either as advertised. 😏

Hotel undergoing renovation. Exterior emergency exit doors were all open, zero security. Halls smelled heavily of marijuana. AC in room was not on, room was stifling, took hours to be comfortable in room. No elevator, ice machine only on first floor.

Remodeling sucked and no breakfast that was purchased wih room anshould of been provided for us or ssihmeo

Staff was very kind. I was not aware there was no elevator available. Was not able to stay because of it.

We had two rooms. The hotel was under construction and we were aware of minor construction however the rooms were filthy and the smell of pot in the hallway was ridiculous. There were dogs barking and no breakfast and the ice machines didn't work either. My family will not be back.

The property has undergone renovations and reopened in August 2024 (as per a picture in the reception). The room, bathroom and galary was clean and looked well kept. No bugs, no issues. Water pressure was awesome and hot water qas aplenty. There are some drawbacks though. The property does not have an elevator. Guests with mobility issues or heavy suitcases will have difficulty going up the stairs. And the breakfast was extremely ordinary. There were no eggs, no milk and no bread! All they had for breakfast was waffles, granola bars, apples and coffee. But for the price, and the easy access off I79 this is a great place to stay! Much cleaner than a regular motel, and some high-end branded hotels too.

No elevator, so just be aware of that.

Greeted upon arrival and check in was smooth and easy. The host/ check in person was friendly and informed us of the amenities and wifi info. We were able to park our 53 foot long semi truck/fifth wheel in the parking area along the back side of the motel. Check with staff before arrival as we were told that the parking lot fills up frequently. The room was very clean and comfortable. Only here for one night as we are passing through the area.

Good value hotel. Very clean.

Convenient and clean except for the smell of smoke in my room.

It was a good place to stay. Fairmont was essentially halfway point for our trip and the price was as good as a Red Roof and it was a better stay. It even has a light breakfast. Surprisingly it has the Make Your Own Waffle Maker there. I expected just pre-wrapped pastries. So that was a nice little surprise. My only complaint was that my bed was like a rock. The other bed was apparently better according to the kids. We had two rooms, the second room was a king for my mother-in-law who is elderly. She enjoyed her bed, but the pet smell was pretty powerful there. It has LVP flooring, which is so easy to clean and disinfect, but I think few places do a thorough job on this, which is disappointing, but it is reality. At least you can see if they cleaned vs the pet friendly places that have gross carpets.

Unpleasant. I knew it was being renovated when I booked but it was horrible. Very dusty. Air did not work. Outside door propped open. Did not feel safe.

Room was not cleaned! Toilet had fece stains!!! Trash not emptied in bathroom. No garbage sack in can in living area. Old key card left room. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!!!

Floors were really dirty turned my sons white socks black within an hour of being in the room

There’s dried blood stains in the bathroom and the sheets have stains on them we need a refund now.

Was issued a room across from vending machines and had to hear guests getting items all night.

The room was a decent size. The king size Bed was comfortable. Was not thrilled with the shower. Luke warm water not hot at all but for the price is was ok and clean.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great! WiFi works great. Would stay again!

It was extremely cold when we arrived. I had reserved the room earlier that afternoon but when we got there at 8:30 that evening, no heat was on in the room and it took two hours before it was comfortable in there. It was quite frigid and it just would’ve been appreciated if they would’ve put the heat on before we got there.

The air conditioning unit rattled non-stop. This was very loud and distracting- especially when trying to sleep. The side door to the hotel was left open all the time - anyone off the street could have walked in. Very dangerous! The floor molding near the a/c unit was coming off the wall. When asked for more towels, I was told by the maid shed be around to my room in about an hour or so. Not great customer service. I will never stay at a Super 8 again.

This hotel was shocking in the fact that it was even open! The lobby was nice and our room was clean with a comfortable bed but that's the end of the plusses. We entered the downstairs hallway and found no carpet, just bare concrete floors, along with at least half of the rooms stripped to the studs. The TV system is a mess and needs to be reset every time you turn it on and you have to hope that it works, because we tried it many times and it only worked once. Also, they allow dogs but didn't have the sense to keep adequate distance between our room and ours, as the dog was immediately over our heads and barked until well after 10 PM. The website said breakfast included but it was only grab and go breakfast bars, juice, coffee and yogurt, nothing else. To top everything off, something went wrong on the Hotels.com site when I was reserving that caused me to end up with a reservation I didn't want, and then wouldn't refund me, and blamed the hotel for the problem! Horrible experience in every way!

It was nice and clean. The only complaint is the mattresses were so hard we were terribly stiff the next couple days. The receptionist was wonderful and very accommodating. .

I have had my trip planned for a while now. I have also stayed at the hotel before. So on friday april 7th at approximately 530pm. I checked into the super 8. Totally under construction. Went to my room and was having a hard time with the key. But finally got it. I cleaned up and then went to dinner w family. Came back to the hotel at almost 1 am. The keys do not work at all. Had to go to the front desk to get a new key. Go back to the room. Keys dont wont. Had to go to the desk AGAIN. The young man at the desk has an attitude. Gives me another key. I go back to the room. It doesnt work either. So my finace goes back to the desk. The young man is giving him attitude. And my fiance lets him know that its not our fault the keys dont work. So the young man finally comes down to the room with a special key. That doesnt work either. So he said...ill have to call maintenance. Ok. So i waited. Then i walked back to the front desk , young man is on the phone with his MOM. He is looking for a special machine. Finally he finds it. We go back to the room. He admits he has no idea of what he is doing. Takes a few minutes to figure out how to use this machine. Finally..he gets the door unlocked. And he says ...well i dont know how to give you a key...dont worry because when i leave this room in the morning i will not be back. So..1. The hotel is basically a dump. And should not be open for business during construction. 2. The employee

Great place for an outstanding price. Rooms are clean and so is property. We will stay here everytime in the future. Patti at front desk is very cordial and extremely helpful.

The hotel charged me TWICE after i prepaid, and wouldn't do anything about it. I am pregnant and they did not care i was starving and staying in a half renovated hotel with paint fumes. HORRIBLE service and stay

I can't review this property because when I went to check in they said they were full, even though I had a reservation. They knew they screwed up and sent me to a Day's Inn a mile back the way I came and it was a dump. NOT HAPPY

Wonderful service. Had a rough night and Jeff from the front desk made check-in fast and painless. Patty, the manager, was also extremely polite and helpful.

The updated renovation done to the room was nice and it was clean. Breakfast very limited so best to go out. Easy access to the Highway.

This motel is very close to everything you need and just off I 79 although still very quiet. The room was big and the king bed was amazing.

The price was very affordable and the room was updated. It was clean and comfortable. I will say that the breakfast was limited to waffles, granola bars, apples and a few drink options. However, with the money that I saved on the cost of the room, I could easily afford breakfast elsewhere.

Clean Hotel.Good place to stop for the night. My only complaint is that their "free breakfast" was only juice and granola bars. Which is deceiving to customers.

Boycott these Wyndham corporate liars until they stop false advertising. Join the class action lawsuit if you were duped into believing they provide breakfast. They advertise breakfasts on their website yet provide none. Furthermore there is NO warning that they are under major reconstruction -- hallways devoid of carpeting and some rooms & ceilings stripped to the studs, joists, wiring & plumbing.

The staff and place was good and clean.. however there was limited breakfast options only consisting of waffles and nothing else.

Very clean! Friendly staff. Breakfast is truly granola bars, apples, regular coffee, orange juice, and waffles with assorted fruit toppings. But for the price, it served our purpose for one night. It was cleaner than more higher priced hotels we’ve stayed in.

Property was very clean very accessible easy to park in the morning was coffee juice, breakfast great waffles only downfall no eggs other than that I would stay here again

It was clean and updated. The bed was ok. Breakfast is ok if you like waffles and apples. Nothing else offered but broken up granola bars. Could use more pillows on bed.
