Beautiful, well maintained historic hotel! Fabulous bar with great specialty drinks. The restaurant is beautiful. This hotel is right downtown so you can walk to all the unique shops in Prescott. I can’t wait to come back. For the dollar, you cannot beat this hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the historic Hassayampa Inn. Great meals at the on-site Peacock Room. Without exception, all staff members were courteous, responsive & informed. The 98-year old elevator is a special treat.

Really cool historic hotel in the center of downtown Prescott. The lobby is like a museum, and the old elevator was cool. We arrived at Happy Hour, which was in a neat bar with really good live music. The room was nice, again with a historic vibe, but fresh and clean . It was as bit crowded with 2 queens (happily, as we had 3 people) and only about 12-18" clearance alongside one to get to the bathroom. There was a park across the street, and tons of restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend it, and will stay there again if we go back.

The hotel only has 2 handicap parking spaces. As a disabled vet it was extremely hard for me to handle my luggage. The staff did not offer any assistance at all. They assigned me a room on the second floor - the front door male stated that it was only six little steps up but did not offer any assistance. He also was opening a door for someone else and turned around and did not hold it open for me. Very inconsiderate. Very low water pressure. One of the shower heads was not working. Front desk said they did not offer military discounts. I would not recommend this hotel for military.

I loved my stay! I had one complaint though. One morning I came down at about 710 in the morning to get a cup of coffee and some pastries to go. I told the people that I was visiting that I would bring pastries that morning. There was nobody at the coffee kiosk, and I waited about 15 minutes. When we asked the front desk if someone was coming, the front desk person went downstairs and when they came back up they said that someone was coming. But no one came and I had to leave. My wait time at the coffee kiosk was about 15 minutes. So I was not able to fulfill my contribution of bringing pastries to my breakfast. Very disappointing. I understand if a staff person has to leave their post, but there should always be signage that says when they will be back.

This is a historic hotel built in 1927. It was a very nice hotel except a bit noisy. The walls aren't very soundproof but I guess that's to be expected in a hotel that's listed on the nation's historic hotels of America. We would still go back. The food is very good and the bar is very nice, too. There is live music every evening.

We really enjoyed our stay at this unique property! When a hotel is on the National Registry, some grace is required. The lobby area is beautiful and historic, as are the public areas and the sleeping rooms. Parking is limited and we were caught with a full lot at times, especially when there were functions on property. LOVED the live music in the lounge - what a bonus! Rooms are small but well appointed - bathroom was tiny. Some shower tile replacement was needed. The suite upgrade was more than worthwhile. Wifi was spotty, therefore frustrating. Food in the restaurant was fantastic, as was the location - SO convenient to downtown Prescott. Appreciated the wine selections. Front desk team was awesome - disappointed that the coffee/cocktail window in the lobby was hit and miss in terms of staffing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and will look forward to returning.

I loved that this is a very historic hotel, still has an original Otis elevator that the bell man takes you up on. Loved the pretty lobby and old fashioned feel but I was disappointed by our room. I booked one of the nicest suites with a king bed, it was a larger room and was supposed to come with a complimentary bottle of wine and a garden view. We did not receive either. Our view was of an ugly roof air conditioning vent system and there was no bottle of wine, when I asked the front desk, they just said sorry there was a mistake, no wine for us! The biggest issues were, the gross, pungent smell in our room, we had to buy a candle and light it to take away the smell, or at least mask it. Our room door was old and separated from the frame so we could hear everyone in the hallway slamming doors and talking as they went to their rooms. The disgusting carpets need to be replaced. That would help the smell. The rooms need updating. I don’t know if I’d stay here again.

Great location. We enjoy historic places. Rooms are small as they were back in the day. One 100 year old elevator that is operated by staff. We had a suite for a few dollars more that made a huge difference for our three day stay.

Pros- The staff made this stay a 11+. I have traveled quite a bit, and the hospitality is above what I have experienced in other hotels. Dogs welcome, I have a lab, and it wasn’t an issue. Proximity to everything is a 10+. The grand room is very cozy, and beautiful with good energy. Cons- As another traveler noted, This is an old hotel, and while it is kept beautifully, the walls are thin. You can hear EVERYTHING. I had a hard time sleeping. Updated cooling, but it was very loud. I would recommend getting your room super cold, then shutting it off around 9ish. Otherwise you’ll jump out of your bed every time the system starts up. (Imagine a jet.) The toilet closet. I’m 5 9’ and had to sit sideways since my knees hit the wall. Crazy. ( people were smaller back in the day.) Would I stay again, probably not, but I would drop by for the live music, or a bite to eat.

Location is great. Staff very friendly and capable. Food delicious. Unfortunately the bed wasn’t that great. We weren’t able to get much sleep. If you plan a stay there what might help is to take your own pillow and a blanket. Take ear plugs too if you’re a light sleeper- the air blowing through the vents every time the AC kicks on can be loud for some.

We loved the restaurant. Excellent service, excellent menu, and excellent food. Our Queen Bed room was tiny. We were getting into each other's way. The water pressure in our shower was just one step above a trickle. And the AC worked well, but was very loud when it blew air.

The entire staff give the white glove treatment. A young man (and elevator attendant) carried all of our bags to our room. Each day everyone greeted us with a smile and kind, welcoming words. Carla (our bartender) was an amazing host, always making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The room, albeit small, was very well appointed and extremely charming. The location of the hotel is perfect, just a block off the square and Whiskey Row. The huge lobby area is full of antiques and lots of history and charm as well. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are very friendly there as well. We just had appetizers there but they were delicious! This is a very charming and friendly hotel and we wil always stay here when visiting Prescott!

Check in, dining, entertainment, patio, decor, historical significance all over the top amazing. Everything was beyond perfect until check out. I was on the 4th floor, unable to use the elevator without staff, rand several times with no response resulting in me nneding to carry several heavy items down all the stairs. Monica at the desk apologized but was completely insincere. What an incredible disappointment after such a beautiful stay.

Beautiful historic hotel in old town Prescott. Not only was the room nice, the property featured daily happy hours with music and a terrific restaurant. The location provided the ability to walk to everything, yet it was just at the edge of the busy courthouse square affording some privacy and quite. We'll be staying here again!

Amazing! It was Father’s Day, I hopped on Hotels.com and there was 1 room available- booked. We had to stay in town (we live in Wilhoit, AZ) because of a minor accident requiring a tow and repairs the next day. We hadn’t eaten, were waiting for tow, I called asked if I ordered a pizza if Lobby Staff could accept and deliver to room. They said , “yes” and when we got to our room, there was a champagne bucket with ice with our 2 liter soda, the pizza was there along with 2 China plates and 2 cloth napkins! A Murphy’s Law Father’s Day turned into a very nice evening and next morning! Their staff earns an A+++❣️

What a wonderful place to stay in Prescott, Arizona. The Inn is of historical significance and they have done a beautiful job of keeping the authenticity while making upgrades available to their guests. The staff is very helpful and very professional as well. I wanted to upgrade my room and they were very accommodating with all of the options available. Room service was quick and the food delicious. You can also dine in the restaurant if you wish and they also have a bar with live music. We enjoyed our stay so very very much! If I could give it more than five stars I would!

We always prefer to stay at the Hassayampa Inn when we're in Prescott, but this time around we had a difficult situation that they helped us with. Our car overheated outside Prescott and had to be towed to a shop. The staff at the Hassayampa Inn allowed us to put our luggage in a secure spot in their offices while we waited for a room to be cleaned, and they also allowed us to check in early. It took a big load off our minds.

The breakfast was overpriced and burnt. It took us forever to get service (and it wasn’t even busy). We ordered two French toasts which were burnt to a black crisp. We also ordered the lemon soufflé pancakes which were flat and also burnt to a crisp and black. Terrible. I hope they aren’t supposed to look like that. I felt bad for the server , wasn’t her fault!

Vintage building. Courteous staff. Conveniently located. Live entertainment. Food at bar mediocre: cheese in cheese platter could have come from local chain grocer. Coffee at Cafe terrible. Understaffed at coffee Cafe at 8am, prime coffee time, because barista was apparently busy with room service. Coffee from plastic pods.
