Hotel Palacky

Excellent location.

We were pleasantly surprised how beautiful and clean hotel Palacky was. We truly enjoyed our stay there and the delicious breakfast that was included in the very reasonable price we paid for our stay. Thank you Hotel Palacky for a wonderful hospitality.

The location is its best plus. The rooms are old and run down. Shower hardly words, TV and remote not working. The fridge making loud buzzing noise. Staff not able to answer basic questions about public transport. Priced fairly for the quality.

Disappointing Experience Our stay at this 4-star hotel in Karlovy Vary was a complete disappointment. Upon arrival, we found there was no hot water and the heating didn’t work. Despite informing the receptionist at 11:30 AM, nothing was fixed by the time we returned in the evening. Communication was nearly impossible as the receptionist spoke no English—unacceptable for a hotel in a popular tourist destination. She was completely unprofessional, strolling around all day with a vape machine in her hand, moaning, and appearing intoxicated or disoriented. After hours of excuses and delays, the issue was only resolved late at night after repeated complaints. Even after the heating was fixed, the room remained freezing. To make matters worse, the room was filthy—there was blood on one of the sheets and dirt behind furniture. This hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star establishment. I would avoid visiting this hotel at all costs. **For upper management: I am referring to the receptionist who was working on Thursday, the 5th of December. Her behavior was completely unacceptable. Also make sure to check the rooms before allowing guests to enter
