Courtyard Cincinnati Covington

The staff was very friendly. The lobby area was very nice, fireplace, it was festive for football game. Free fresh popcorn. A few issues with our stay. The room wasn’t ready when we got there so check in took about half hour to wait, but the staff gave us a complimentary drink and snack while we waited. In the evening, the elevator was broken so the staff had to escort us to the freight elevator. We could use the stairs, but had to call if we wanted elevator for someone to come and escort us downstairs. We were in a floor high enough to need the elevator to go up. They were very nice about it, but it was an inconvenience, the hotel was sold out for football game. We used the business center, but printer needed toner so we couldn’t print. We didn’t bother anyone to help us they were busy with the elevator situation. The staff at the front desk and the gentleman at the bistro could not have been nicer they handled everything well, but for over 500 dollars for two nights there were a few inconveniences between room being unavailable and the elevator broken. The area around the hotel is very industrial and our room overlooked the back of a White restaurant. It’s a litte sketchy. Lots of people were walking to the game. I would walk in a crowd, but probably not alone. Not scenic by any stretch. The staff made up for the shortcomings. Room was fine, basic but clean. There was a garage next to the hotel free of charge and drive to paycor stadium was very easy.

False advertising on Expedia. No pool.

Everything was clean and the staff was very pleasant! Checkin and checkout were both very easy. Our room was really clean and we had no issues during our stay. There was a private parking garage you needed your room key to access so parking was easy as well. Would definitely recommend. We did not use the on-site bistro, so I can't comment on food or other amenities.

We enjoyed the room and the friendly staff, the bar and the transportation provided to us as well. We had a great time

Walking distance to Goebel Park where there was a Taco Fest. Hotel has free parking and Bistro in lobby. We had an Ohio River /Cincinnati view

Only downside was the elevator for the parking garage was out-of-service. The parking area in front of the hotel is interesting, as well. Staff was great.

Hotel is what I expected. Fitness center was good. Area around the hotel does have lots of fast food places. Areas around hotelmdoes seem to be onr I wouldn't feel safe walking around at nighttime. Otherwise, Id recommend thos hotel.

Elevator was out of service on 12/22 when we were checking out. We got great service from the staff who took our belongings down in the service elevator.

The hotel was very clean and quiet

This is probably the dirtiest hotel room we have ever stayed in. The bed was barely made, there were stains all over the furniture, and the trash hadn’t been taken out. It was also incredibly noisy with children running the halls. The worst part was that we got a non-smoking room all for our room to reek of smoke. When I asked the staff if they could come get the trash, I received no apology and we had to hunt a housekeeper down ourselves. I am incredibly upset about the amount that we paid to stay here.

The air condition unit was covered in mold in room 615. As a person with mold illness I am very sensitive to mold. It should be standard cleaning procedures to clean the vents on those AC units to protect the health of your guests. On a positive note, the staff was very nice when checking in and out of the hotel.

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was spacious. The location was very close to the restaurants in Covington. A lot of development going on in that area. Only negative were the large streaks of mold on the inner shower curtain.

The rooms were dated. Bathrooms still have tubs not walk-in showers floor was sticky from cleaner.

Rug soaked with water when we woke up the next morning. When shared with the front desk they said it was normal due to the temps outside and humidity. They would send someone up to wet vac the area to pull the water up. No one ever showed up to do so. Gave our permission to go into room. We had to soak up the water with bath towels.

Overall the facilities were good but the room had a smell of dirty old carpet and mildew.

The first room had soiled/stained sheets present. We were immediately switched to another room without hesitation.

Clean and newly updated hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint was that the bed was not comfortable at all. It was very firm.

Check in was easy but the room smelled like marijuana . The tv was blue and not normal color .

The suite we booked was huge, much larger than we were expecting! The room was clean & spacious, although it had an odd, musty smell upon entering the room that dispelled rather quickly, so it didn't distract from the enjoyment of the room. The bed was comfortable & the blackout curtains were amazing! The location of the hotel is sketchy, but we didn't have any issues. I would not go out at night alone though, just as a precaution. The staff was nice & courteous. There is no breakfast provided, but they do have coffee & water in the lobby.

Great staff, very nice room, lobby TV and bar service is great. My only drawback was the train trestle behind the building going over the river. It is very noisy when a train passes by.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Paycor Stadium for a Cincy Bengals game (we actually walked there so did not have to deal with stadium parking/traffic). The hotel was clean and had a nice lobby area. Our room was quiet and the window treatments kept the room nice and dark, even at sunrise. Comfortable beds, large TV, and good shower water pressure were all appreciated.

My son is disabled, in a wheel chair, the staff was very friendly, and helpful to get all our things to our room. Pleasant, friendly, and helpful

I thought that the front desk staff was rude, I liked the service employees they were friendly and helpful. Also the elevator was very slow to open. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at The Courtyard Marriott in Coviington, Ky. The customer service was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the parking garage was very convenient and free of charge.

The staff was wonderful. The housekeeping person on the 9th floor was absolutely fantastic. She saw our do not disturb sign so she bypassed us but kept a lookout for us incase we did need something. When we asked her anything she was able to put her hands on the item within minutes. She was also very sweet, kind, and knowledgeable about the area.

Bistro prices are too high! Furniture in room not clean. Employee at check-in seemed annoyed that she had to stop making popcorn to check me in.

We werent in the hotel a lot as we were only there one night to attend a reds game. Hotel was convenient for that if still driving to game, but wasnt worth the price. I’d rather pay a little more and be in downtown Cincy and walk to game. Room service also opened our room door an hour before checkout time without knocking first. That should never happen. Manager at front desk said she was glad we were awake when it happened. Didn't cause a big issue for us but just a little before we had showered and were getting dressed so it could have. Overall the hotel served our purpose, but it wasnt worth the price as everything was pretty average and the area around it was not real nice.

Worst service ever! I was there at 8 pm and they didnot have my room ready. They didnot have any double queen bedrooms available as there was no housekeeping service to clean it. I was without a room until 11 pm, after which I had to get a king room and fit 4 adults as the rooms were not available. The manager refused to peovide 2 king rooms or refund for the rooms. Horrible manager and staff had no support either

The surroudings were shady, i would not stay there again

Staff was helpful and thoughtful. But the property is showing wear and needed better cleaning of windows, elevator areas and outside sidewalks and parking deck stairwells (dirty and/or stained). Area surrounding the hotel is questionable and a railroad line runs near the hotel.

Convent to all attractions, clean, staff was nice and helpful. Though the bed was very firm which I am not a fan the room was clean. Easy walk over the bridge to Cincinnati. I would stay there again 😊

Front desk was rude, no pool, no breakfast, had to pay for parking. Not sure why Marriott is in the name if it is not run like the rest. Went to a Reds game but neighborhood was too sketchy to walk anywhere. Homeless guy living In a hammock outside the back gate.

I tried to order food and they didnt want to cook. They suggested I go across the street.

Great service, friendly staff. The bar bistro was not open in the evening at 9:30, we thought it was supposed to be open until 9PM on Saturday night. The was disappointing. The beds were not the high quality mattresses I remembered, these felt more like wood with a thick pad on top. The bedding was nice. The room was very plain, but comfortable and clean. We thought it was way overpriced for what we got. If you get it for under $200 it’s about right.

the evening dining was very limited and very expensive The morning breakfast was VERY slow, VERY expensive and the food was cold. would not recommend this place to anyone

A pool was advertised. It didn't exist in this location. Breakfast, dinner and a bar were also advertised. There was no dinner, no bar and I did not see anyone making eggs and bacon in the "Kitchen". For the money, this hotel certainly did not meet expectations. I was very disappointed with my decision to stay here. I don't recommend it. The condition of the room was in need of cleaning and updating. It was dark/ dank.

We slept so well hear - the blinds didn’t let any light in, the beds were comfy, and the air conditioning worked really well. Great location - we took a short drive to Newport on the levee and were also close to a lot of food options. The breakfast (for purchase) at the hotel was really good too.

Wish restaurant and bar were open after our long day of driving, but was happy with local food recommendations made by staff. Was clean and up to date. They offered us a microwave for the room to heat items for our young children. We’ll definitely be back.
