Everyone was very friendly.. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Added bonus we were able to charge are EV overnight for free. There is only one charger so it was fortunate for us it was available. Would love to see this amenity become more available . We would definitely stay again

My family stayed one night at this hotel because of location and it had an indoor pool. The staff were very friendly upon our arrival. However, the pool was fairly small. It was too crowded and very limited seats. We ended up not being able to swim. There were pieces of hair on the sheets. The top blanket was rough and very thin. Also, the bathroom floor looked dirty. I did like how the room came with a keurig machine and the dove dispensers.

Calling it “Riverfront” is deceptive - it is not near the river from any visual standpoint. There is limited parking for the hotel - we returned from an event late in the evening and all hotel spaces were filled. Hotel staff said to park at the next door liquor store.

Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was free and delicious! The pool is indoor and small. Convenient to the aquarium and the stadiums. It is a typical Holiday Inn Express but there's nothing wrong with that. Can't really think of anything negative other than the pool water temperature was a bit on the cool side.

Clean room/building. Friendly staff. Spilled a drink and requested new linen, there was someone there in under 5 mins. Very comfortable bed. Free breakfast was very good. Nothing negative to say about our stay.

Had a quiet room at the end of the hall. Clean for the most part with exception to the bathroom. Saw lots of hair on the floor and in the tub. Breakfast was great. Would stay here again.

Although the staff at the front desk were kind and willing to help, our room was still not ready 1 hour after we were scheduled to check in. Since we were on a schedule, they gave us a different room, but it still was not totally clean. The carpet did not look fully vacuumed (there were bits of fast food on areas of the carpet) and there was dust and gunk on the table and in the corners of the room. The beds were clean, but the rest of the room looked like it was rushed through. We were only there for one night, so it wasn’t a big deal and we stayed, but next time I think we will book elsewhere…

The front desk staff was welcoming and kind. Our room was not thoroughly clean. The lamps, floors, picture frames and vases all had grime or dust or both on them. Stained footstool and chair. Stained lampshade. Rusty ceiling fixture in bathroom and mildew in tub- we did not use. Cheap, snagged carpet. Over $200 a night on a weekday. Advertised as a riverfront hotel but it’s not, it is train track and parking lot oriented. That being said, the FOH staff was the saving grace. They were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Someone came and wiped down the furniture and cleaned up grime from the kitchenette floor right away. It helped but the overall feeling in the room was well used and a looong time since a deep clean. Won’t stay at this location again.

This room was filthy hair all over the bed shower and bathroom. Looked like someone spilled stuff all over the walls also and the footstool looked like it had blood all over it. It was very clear that the floors and carpet were not swept or vacuumed

Location was great. I went to ask for sheets because the bed was not clean. The bed had lots of pubic and long hairs, what looked like food crumbs, and yellow hard stain. I took pics but thought it was pointless to show because i asked for sheets.

I brought my youngest daughter, her sister and a couple of her friends to stay for her 16th birthday! We had an amazing time. The girls loved the pool and the room (suite) had plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable! Loved how close we were to Newport on the Levy!

We like the location being close to Payco Stadium. Staff was wonderful!! Everything was clean. Only complaint was that the walls are SUPER thin. We could hear the guy in the room next to us coughing throughout the night and could hear them talking and getting ready in the morning. Would probably stay here again if going to a concert at Payco.

Overall not terrible. Paid extra for the “river view” but the view was completely blocked by trees. Maybe a little more effort could have been put into cleaning the room. Did enjoy the included breakfast.

Room appeared to be renovated recently. It was clean. The view of the river is very minimal- actually just a view of the bridge. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The only complaint with the room is that the tub was draining very slow. Spoke to the desk clerk and they will have maintenance check it out. The area looked a little sketchy as mentioned in other reviews, but we had no issues.

Absolutely exceptional staff! We were immediately impressed with the kindness and friendliness of the great crew working there. From the front desk check in to the room cleaning associates and the ladies preparing the breakfast service, which was very good and had a great selection of items. Fresh ground coffee was available all day and the rooms were quiet, very clean and well furnished. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Claire at the front desk was amazing!! From the moment we checked in to the minute we left she was so kind to us. There was another lady at the front desk that was very kind too, I don't remember her name but she was a Steelers fan. Customer Service was amazing! Housekeepers were EXTREMELY loud in the hall way. They need to remember some people are still sleeping and we don't need to hear what they did the night before. This occurred EVERY morning that we were there, very frustrating!! Housekeepers could do a better job at cleaning the tile in the showers, but other than that the rooms are clean and comfortable. We ubered everywhere we went, but Mainstrasse was in walking distance and we always felt safe. Would definitely stay here again!! Thank you Claire for your amazing customer service!!

Property its self was fine but the staff were horrible. Tried to extend our stay.they said they had but then the. Next morning called our room to tell us we needed to get out They hadn’t extended the stay at all. Were very rude. Impossible to call hotel. Would not recommend

Property was easily accessible to both Cincinnati and Covington. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well stocked. The breakfast was everything you would want. From eggs and bacon to biscuits and gravy. Plenty of yogurt options and oatmeal as well. Coffee available 24/7 was a perk. Pick up the local shuttle a 4-minute walk away and tour the area for $2.

The property was great for being one of the last hotels in town with vacancy. We made the mistake of trying to go to a Reds game the same weekend as a music festival. But this hotel had availability at a decent rate and was away from all the traffic. Free parking. Check-in was easy. Free breakfast. And there’s even a public bus called the SouthBank Shuttle Trolley that cost $2 one way or $4 all day and will drop you off right in front of the park. Can’t ask for much more than that!

From the hotel's location, it was simple and a short drive to get to the riverfront area of Covington and into Cincinnati. There was no view of the Ohio River from the property, which I thought might be visible, but the property was well lit, clean, and my family felt safe on the premises.

Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good. It took us 5 minutes to reach the heart of downtown Cincinnati and also Newport. The hotel is next to two liquor stores and the view is nonexistent, however that isn't why we chose this location. We chose this location because of the easy access to Cincinnati and Newport. We used the hotel as a place to sleep at night and eat breakfast. It excelled at both of these items. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We would stay here again on our next trip to Cincinnati.

Check in was easy. Clare and Alexis were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were there for 5 nights and the entire staff was very helpful. Claudia, that was the breakfast lady, was very friendly and said good morning to us every morning. She did a great job keeping the food filled and the choices were very good. Thank you to all the staff for making this stay great.

We stay here every time we visit our daughter in Cincinnati. It’s a great place right off the bridge. The rooms are very clean and fresh. The breakfast is also very good. It’s not just a continental breakfast. You get eggs, sausage, gravy, pancakes as well as the basic breakfast fare. The staff is great and always super friendly and helpful too.

The complimentary breakfast was terrible. The sausage links and cheese omelet looked like it was a few days old. The bread for toast was hard and tasteless. I got food poisoning and left the hotel vomiting... for the next 24 hours. The breakfast was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. That won't happen again!
