Days Inn by Wyndham Monroe, Louisiana

My visit at this location was very good. Staff was nice and the room was clean, comfy, and everything worked. My only nit-pick is that the parking lot is in need of repair and the surrounding area looks like there's some type of construction going on, which I understand isn't the fault of the hotel/motel. So, overall my vist was excellent and I have a high likelihood of staying again.

The property was easy to locate and check-in process was quick and easy. I liked there was coffee and juice bar available throughout the entire day. Close to upscale shopping mall.

It was ok not great parking if you are towing a trailer

Older style motel with outside entrances and no elevator. Kids partied all night outside our room and staff did nothing. Felt very unsafe.

Dirty bathroom and non functioning vent. Faucet leaks onto counter. Much too expensive for what it is. Garbage pickers scouring Sams Club dumpsters next to hotel within sight of room. People wandering around the parking area and smoking in cars.

The ice maker was broken and there’s no coffee maker in room. Free breakfast is crappy. I won’t stay there again. Staff was very friendly!😁

We have a late checking, they have a little window and i can't hear what the person inside was saying, at the end i just sign take the room keys and walked to find the bedroom.

Room was quiet and clean parking was convenient. Breakfast was good.

Parking

Stayed for one night and It smelled the mildew walking in with the room being humid. The top latch for the lock looked like someone kicked it in at one point because it was loose.

Filthy

Absolutely horrible place to stay. Not sure why it’s still open because it’s in need of renovation and it’s not updated. Floor in bathroom was dirty. Insects in the room. Bed skirts were dirty and had stains on them. The noise level was high because the individual above me played loud music until 2AM. Lights had rust on them. Clothes hangers had to be washed down before we could use them. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemies.

The room was dirty, dirty sheets and with stains, dirty bathroom curtain, bathroom basket with papers, fridge with ice and almost did not cool bad smell since we entered, it was noticeable that it was a room that did not have a proper cleaning.

We stayed here for the price, but the room was clean and updated. The breakfast is just pastries and cereals but still good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A nice mall and plenty of food options were less than a half mile away. We would stay here again.

rooms smelt like dirty hair in the sink and bath tub, carpets are def. need to be updated or replaced...

Room was clean and updated. The area was quiet. We stopped just for a place to sleep and we were very comfortable. The A/C worked great. And i prefer a room with carpet so this was perfect for us. Very cozy and nice. Would stop again if the need arises.

Got bed bug bites :(

The staff was great. The rooms were so dirty. Bathroom was filthy, bed spreads were stained, ceilings were stained. Nothing was clean about this room. Surprisingly the bed was comfortable. The rooms are definitely not properly cleaned. My mother cleaned rooms for years is she left rooms like this she would have been fired. The breakfast options were sad.

This is a very seasoned motel. It is clean but 1st room we got smelled of mildew. The second was better & we stayed. The door in 106 had a huge gap at top of it so I got towel from my car & poked it in hole to keep the cool air inside & hot air out. The bed frame was like a metal box & when u moved then it had a noise like hitting an empty can. It wasnt very comfortable either. Forget about breakfast also it was just bisquits & sausage gravy. Also no coffee makers in rooms

The room was clean which is all I cared about. You can hear everything outside going on. The interstate is loud and you can hear people outside talking. Our room was close to the stairs and we could hear people going up and down at all hours.

Room was hot. Labels on Thermostat were faded and I couldn’t read if unit was on Heat, AC, Fan Only, etc. I reported issue to front office and they cordially gave me another room.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The first room I was scheduled to stay in (#117) had a tv that didn’t work. The lady at the office was very apologetic & moved me to another room. I was moved next door (#116). The mattress was in serious need of being replaced. As I laid down to sleep, I literally rolled to the center of the bed. Not a very comfortable sleep!

Well, it kept us out of the rain. Room 201 was close to the interstate so road noise was to be expected. However, the door did not have a seal around it so there was a large gap which let in light and noise. The bed I shared with my daughter had a mattress that desperately needs replacement. It had a deep dip on the inner side of the bed next to the bedside table. It was as if I was sleeping uphill from her. I was able to sleep by putting a pillow under my hip to even it out. The refrigerator didn't work at all. Hairs in sink. Disappointing breakfast - one flavor of instant oatmeal, packaged danishes, and microwavable sausage biscuits. But like I said, it kept the rain off our heads.

Could not get the TV remote to change channels. Reported this to front desk, remote was changed out but problem remained.

The room was average for an overnight stay. It was clean but the A/C was very loud we it kicked on. The bed was comfy and clean.

Rooms were clean.Bed big and comfortable. Room smelled a little musty. A/C was loud. Overall ok for 1 night stay.

The one thing we look for at a hotel is a good nights sleep. Your mattress was so worn it was U shaped. The edges were high, the middle sunk in. Almost as if a hundred kids had been jumping on it. I can sleep on any style bed, this kept throwing my husband and me toward the middle on a down hill slope.

I love this property the staff is awesome

First night stay the people next to us partied and we heard everything. We complained but nothing was done. Second night we moved rooms and it was much nicer. Not the best motel to stay with families. My daughter did not feel safe.

Check out time was 11 AM. Housekeeping came by at 9:30. I said I would be staying till 11 AM she came back not even 30 minutes later walked in the room and said oh I thought you left then proceeds to say strip down the bed? Mind you it’s only not even 10 AM not cool at all

The hotel manager was rude and the food was cold and not well prepared.

We booked a non-smoking room and they switched us to a smoking room at check in. Guy said we would have to stay in that or go home. Do not stay here

Staff friendly and courteous

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The front desk clerk was courteous, friendly and professional. I will be returning to Days Inn in again in the near future.

My fiancé and I were driving to West Monroe Louisiana from Orlando Florida and needed a place to stay for the night. On our long road trip to West Monroe, I did research on all the hotels in the area that were budget friendly and that’s where we found this hotel. I read multiple reviews some good some bad, so I was a little spectacle. We ended up giving this hotel try. When we arrived the woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze since I had booked the room online. We were in room 106, when we got into the room we noticed it was a little dated, but clean and inviting. My fiancé and I checked the room and the bed before bringing any of our belongings in just in case, but the room was clear! No bugs, everything was clean, and comfortable. I read a lot of complaints about the hotels ACs in the room, those complaints are true. The AC was kind of loud in our room, but it didn’t really bother us. While settling in and laying down we did hear a few noises, but the hotel was full when we entered and with multiple people staying your bound to hear some noises. Throughout the night it was peaceful. We did stop and get morning breakfast that the hotel offered the next morning before we left. They had Biscuits, gravy, pastries (verity), breakfast burritos, jams, butter, coffee, apple juice, and orange juice. The Breakfast was delicious a great way to start our day. Check out was quick & easy we handed the lady at the front desk our keycards and were off

We stay here every trip to Mississippi to see family! Always clean and staff super friendly and professional. This time Kayla checked us in, the weather was really bad and she was awesome! Will definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at this hotel for many years. It is in a good location but near a major highway so traffic noise is loud. The building was never sound proofed so I have to keep the AC unit running all night to be able to sleep. This time there was no clock in the room.

Affordably priced. Its your basic place to grab a shower and get some sleep before continuing the next day's drive. Not convenient to dining.

Staff are courteous and friendly. Location is convenient. Quiet and peaceful.

The host at the counter was not honest with me about the location of the room. It was very noisy due to the business across the parking lot running a forklift late at night. they also allowed a car to park parallel with the building next to the room doors and it blocked the stairs to go up to my room. This is a safety hazard. I also think the driver was running a hooker business from the room. I would love to get a refund for the stay. I would never stay there again. The building is in an industrial area. It was to close to the highway. the A/C-Heater unit was noisy and would not shut off. The light on the far side of the bed would not turn on and the outlet would not work because there was no electrical outlet to plug the fixture into. A very bad experience.

Cool comfortable and was around a lot places Alison right off the freeway

Breakfast was disappointing. Just some frozen biscuits to heat up in your room.

The breakfast consisted of store bought prepackaged super sweet pastries and powdered creamer for the coffee. I refuse to put powder creamer in my coffee, and im prediabetic, so i couldnt eat what was available. Offer something healthier or reduce the price and offer no breakfast at all.

The hotel is good condition but the breakfast is not good.

Perfect for a one night stop while driving out of town. Breakfast included is honey buns and donuts. Overall clean, safe, and just what you get. A cheap place to rest a few hours after a day of driving.

The hot breakfast was a burrito in a bag that you have to microwave.

Worst breakfast possible.... prepackaged sweet rolls... a diabetics nightmare... and that was ALL they had.... no fruit, no toast, no bagels zip.... just those ungodly looking sweet rolls.... we will not stay there again next year, but will look for someplace else.
