The rooms were clean, but the hallways needed some clean up. The hotel shares a “waterpark” with the neighboring hotel, but the waterpark itself was just okay. Some of the water features were broken, and there were no pool towels at all. I went to the desk to ask for more and they said I had to walk over to the neighboring hotels front desk and ask for some because they “stole” all of theirs. Which I did, and they gladly gave me some of their room towels to use.

The slides which are the big attraction aren’t working. The front desk is extremely slow. I was third in line and there was one guy sitting there doing nothing and another person doing all the work. It says the water park isn’t run by the hotel but they advertise it on their site as a reason to stay there. Lazy river is very lazy!!!! Overall, a good place to stay. Good breakfast.

Perfect 1 bdrm suite for a family of 4!! The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly! Biggest highlight for our whole family was the big waterslides, lazy river, and hot tub!! Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel poorly manages community spaces. The pool is straight up dangerous. No one monitors for capacity and large groups of kids engage in dangerous behaviors. They would use innertubes down the slides with 4or5 going down at a time. They didnt pace their slides and would plow over little kids. The pool attendance were unable to regulate the behaviors and gave permissions to dive into shallow pools. They were not lifeguards. Additionally, too many dogs that had no purpose to be there that barked all night and day and disturbed multiple guests stay. I have stayed there a few times but wint again.

We called and made sure the pool was open before booking, got in late to make the long drive there to spend the morning at the waterslides and in the pool. Turns out the pool was actually closed. There was a ton of construction being done everywhere in the building with construction workers. In fhe morning I heard tapping noises and then our door tried to be opened by someone (luckily i had the safety lock on) even though we had the do not disturb sign on. The room smelt of fresh paint and was not done- there were holes in the room and shower that still had not been touched up and completed from construction.

Rooms were nice and waterpark was fun. A lot of kids obviously because of the waterpark so if you don’t want to see kids running around the halls and stuff maybe not for you. Parking at night is hard as the parking lot fills up fast every evening so that’s also a bit of a minus as we had to park in the auto zone next door one night but overall everything was nice and staff were amazing!

Quick overnight trip to Gillette, wanted a fun hotel that had some amenities. Upon check in the front desk staff was very inviting. Other reviews mentioned an extra charge for use of the water park however ours was included so not sure if that has recently changed. Was assigned a room and upon inspection I found hair on the bed and in the bathtub. I try to be understanding however I think this is something that can easily be cleaned. I returned to the front desk and she was accommodating and provided a new room that was very clean! We where exited to use the water park, it has a lazy river, but with no inter tubes it kinda takes the fun out of it. Our tv was not working at one point and the maintenance staff was very prompt at fixing. The breakfast was ok. The fresh bean coffee was fabulous! All in all it was an ok stay. I’d recommend.

The hotel is in need of updates. The furniture in our room was covered in stains and worn out. The carpet was old and very dirty, there were stains on the carpet that then were covered by tables. We had to get help from the front desk because both tvs didn’t work, the main light flickered on and off and lightbulbs were burnt out. They did have a maintenance person come to fix things. The pool is an additional charge because it is operated by the connecting hotel next door. There is a sign posted to say the hotel is not run by Country Inn and Suites. Breakfast was fine, bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable but did have a stain on the coverlet.

My room was recently refurbished. Carpet was new and also had fresh paint scent, just a hint. Made it fell like a brand new hotel. All clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast, too, for a "free" breakfast. Great coffee in the lobby, unusual for a hotel. Thanks.

Not as nice as our usual CountryInn stays. The lobby was tiny with the entry drive cluttered with construction fencing. Lobby was outdated and gave shady discount hotel vibes. Rooms were dirty. Under mattress full of hair and dirt and food. Side table gouged as though someone ground a knife around it. Bathroom was basic and outdated. Pillows were lumpy. The air conditioning did work.

Excellent stop on our cross-country roadtrip. The Country Inn is well-maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Even the lobby and common areas were charming and decorated nicely for Christmas. Hot breakfast in the morning was very good. Friendly staff, efficient service, conveniently located, And a great price! We definitely recommend this one.

Loved the pool/waterpark. It’s free for hotel guests. 24hr coffee machine. Has a small gift shop with some food and souvenirs. Only small issue is my room had almonds on the floor lol. I don’t eat almonds

I usually have a great stay here. It’s been my go to place when visiting. This trip was a longer stay. The TV made us sign in into apps every time the tv was turned off. When we arrived we did not get a room key until hours after checking in. There was remodeling going on during the day which made it hard to stay in room due to noise. Had to get room keys almost every time we left because the ones we had wouldn’t work. Front desk never had quarters available for laundry room. Ice machine on second floor doesn’t work. I usually wouldn’t complain but this stay was disappointing and will probably go elsewhere next time I am in town.

We were going involved in an accident (deer), which was the reason for being in Gillette. Our car was not drive able and we were traveling with our 4 children. We were stranded and desperate. The manager agreed to send their van to pick us up from the auto body shop, which was very generous. The pool was a great distraction for the kids. The amenities were clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Would’ve rated the stay higher but when we left in the morning for a bit and returned at 1030 to gather the rest of our things, the staff had cleaned our room and placed all our items in the lost and found even though we hadn’t checked out and check out time isn’t even until noon. They had thrown away the food in the fridge that was going to be our lunch for day. I’ve never had that happen at a hotel before, it was very strange and disappointing.

The last time I stayed here the service was excellent this time it took forever to check-in, there was no fresh water and the vending machines that had water in them were all broken if you used change. It took multiple people over forty minutes to check-in and the guy at the front would just walk off leaving people standing there wondering where on earth he went to.

The front desk guy was extremely slow, not friendly and when we got to our room we had 2 wash clothes for 4 people. I tried to call the front desk multiple times and it was always busy. I even tried to call the following morning and it was still busy. We were all pretty disappointed

This was a decently priced hotel for the one night we needed to stay on our road trip. My daughter had fun in the indoor water park. There are a lot of options around for food, gas and coffee which we appreciated. It was easy to access right off the interstate and check-in/out was easy. Room was clean and we did not have any issues.

The property was good and beds were comfortable. My daughter really enjoyed the water slides! It was very conveniently located and Walmart and other stores were right across the street. The breakfast could of been a lot better and when my daughter went to get oatmeal she pulled out a really long black hair out of it.
