Great location in city centre, 42 tour tram, directly below funicular and Praha Castle, 10 mins to Charles Bridge. Lower Town is away from tourist crowds but still surrounded by great food, traditional Pilsner pubs, Cantina & Natureza restaurants recommended. Hotel William provides a comprehensive hot and cold breakfast 7-10.30am. Standard EU rooms, super clean en suite. Big windows that open wide but no A/C; NB lower floors are cooler!

Rigtig dejligt hotel, super service fra al personale. Der er ikke aircon på værelset med en gulv/bordvifte som i september varmen fungerede rigtig godt. Der er støj fra vejen og fra sprogvognene men ikke noget et par gode ørepropper ikke kan klare. Dog fungerede det ikke med deres mørklægningsgardiner, de var uens i længden og der var et "gap" ned langs gardinkanten / vinduerne hvor lyset skinnede kraftigt igennem. Og så er jeg ikke fan af en væghængt bruser ! Er der en sådan burde der være badehætter så man ikke skal vaske /tørre hår hver dag. Dejlig tjekkisk morgenmad hvor der intet manglede. Og et kæmpe plus at du som gæst har fri adgang til vand/juice og kaffe hele dage frem til kl 22 i morgenmadslokalet. Og det er tilladt at fylde vandflasken med koldt vand. No parking were visible, clean room but the building is old. The elevator is in between 2 floors. Like 3rd floor get off or get on elevator is in between 4th and 3rd floor. You stil need to climb or go down 1 flight of stairs. But the front desk offered the help with your luggage’s. Metro stop is right in front of the hotel. Dinings options all within close distance. Easy walk to Lennon wall, and the Charlie Bridge

Ett väldigt bra hotell för det priset. Frukosten var bra och där fanns något för stora och små. Läget var super, med gångavstånd till Gamla stan. Spårvagn utanför som tog en snabbt och enkelt till andra delar av Prag. Vi reste med bil och hotellet har parkering inte alls långt ifrån dem. Betalade ungefär 240:- per dygn. Det enda minuset är att vi inte hade AC. På resan en vuxen och två barn. Kommer definitivt bo där igen.
Ett väldigt bra hotell för det priset. Frukosten var bra och där fanns något för stora och små. Läget var super, med gångavstånd till Gamla stan. Spårvagn utanför som tog en snabbt och enkelt till andra delar av Prag. Vi reste med bil och hotellet har parkering inte alls långt ifrån dem. Betalade ungefär 240:- per dygn. Det enda minuset är att vi inte hade AC. På resan en vuxen och två barn. Kommer definitivt bo där igen.

A conveniently located hotel within a 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge. The breakfast in the morning was great. Just be aware that there is no air conditioning in the hotel so it might get a little warm in the summer. They do provide a fan.

Mycket charmigt hotell i en gammal byggnad vilket medförde att hissen var väldig liten och man fick gå en halvtrappa. Men det var bara 4 våningar så är man frisk kan man gå! Sköna sängar och bra frukost och trevlig personal. Hotellet har ett fantastiskt läge vid Karlsbron. Åker gärna hit igen.

Great place to stay for 3 nights. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfast selection was fantastic and the staff very helpful. There was no air conditioning but a fan was provided as it was hot. Only downside was there was no fridge to keep drinks cool. Fantastic location not far from Charles Bridge and the Old Town

The bed sheets and towel had a big hole of ripped. Every thing of facility was too old. The first my hand had bleeding and there was not any alcohol, betadin or any other first aid. But breakfast was great.

We stayed at Hotel William for two nights. We liked that the hotel was in Malá Strana, away from the massive crowds in Old Town. The room in which we stayed was spacious, but there were a few things that were not in good condition. Firstly, the door handle fell off as we opened the door, the curtains were not the same length, and the end attachment for the towel bar was loose. Small things that can be quickly and easily fixed. The breakfast the first morning lacked fruit of any sort, so I was happy to see lots of fresh fruit the next morning. Otherwise the breakfast had lots of nice options, both hot and cold.

Our family of 2 adults and 1 teen stayed in Prague for 3 nights. We made a great choice by staying at the William Hotel, we couldn't ask for anything more. Conveniently located in the Mala strana, about 20 min to Old town through incredible views and bridges. We walked everywhere and only used Bolt from train station and to airport. Hotel is very clean, impeccable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is sunny, clean, spacy with clean linens and warm blankets. We found the beds comfortable. Breakfast was a big plus, with nice variety and fresh produce. Fruits, vegetables, fresh cheeses and yogurt. Big plus were hemp seeds sunflower and pumpkin seed and nice variety of nuts. Unlimited coffee and tea very nice to have. Plenty of dinning options around and easy walk to Old town. We will definitely recommend! Thank you!

I liked this place primarily because the neighborhood and fairly close to the River. They had a free breakfast which was good. However my room was right on the street and even though it had a nice park hill view, the tram that ran all night off and on, and I didn’t get much sleep.

Tolle Lage und ein super Fruhstucksbuffet. In den Betten schläft man sehr gut. Je nach Zimmer Lage könnte einem die vor dem Hotel verlaufende Tram Station stören.

Eigentlich bin ich völlig zufrieden, leider war die Straße mit dem Kopfsteinpflaster und der Straßenbahnlinie vor dem Hotel recht laut. Gerade die Einzelzimmer liegen an der Ecke des Gebäudes und haben 5 Fenster, die trotz der Doppelverglasung den Schall durchlassen...Ansonsten top.
Eigentlich bin ich völlig zufrieden, leider war die Straße mit dem Kopfsteinpflaster und der Straßenbahnlinie vor dem Hotel recht laut. Gerade die Einzelzimmer liegen an der Ecke des Gebäudes und haben 5 Fenster, die trotz der Doppelverglasung den Schall durchlassen...Ansonsten top.

Very good location, walkable distance to all of the attractions that Prague has to offer, as such, the location was quiet and out of the way. The staff helped us to book a reasonably priced taxi to the airport, and allowed us to store our luggage securely (locked room) at no cost. They were very helpful, with very good English. The hotel decor is a little outdated, but if your anything like us you’re out all day exploring and just need somewhere to rest your head in a lovely comfy bed ( which they were). The shower worked well and we were happy. The breakfast was served everyday from 7-10.30 and was really good. We enjoyed it every morning, there was a good variety and with our breakfast included In the price you absolutely can not go wrong!!! Ofter the breakfast time, you were allowed to fill up your water and have a few drinks from the machine including tea and coffee and no one seemed to mind, we were not charged extra when we left. We absolutely recommend this hotel and the great price we paid, great location, comfy beds and fab breakfast! What more do you want. Thank you Hotel William we had a lovely stay.

We were provided with two rooms since they were renovating parts of the hotel that included our originally reserved room. The location is convenient, as it is right in front of the tram station and is also close to the historic center in general. There is no air conditioning (which is usually to be expected from Europe), but they provided a fan. The staff is helpful and patient! They were willing to explain everything, give us recommendations and answer questions we had. The breakfast buffet is good. Reception is available until 10 PM, and the door is locked at this time as well so you need to make sure you bring your room card with you! Overall the hotel was good and we had a wonderful time!

Absolutely brilliant place to stay. Me and my daughter stayed here and ordered the airport transfer from here too. Everything went smoothly and the driver contacted us when he had arrived so it was easy to find him. The hotel staff were amazing. Very pleasant and extremely helpful people. The hotel is a beautiful building in a great area. We walked to all the major sites. The breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend. My daughter would like to return to Prague with her friends and I would feel happy that she would be safe at this hotel

Hotel William is a beautiful hotel with the feel of a classical boutique hotel. Stained glass and Victorian painted walls especially in the airy dining room gives it a charming look. The room was tiny— but functional, very clean with a nice multicolored tiled bathroom. The staff were super nice and helpful— highlight of the stay! Roman and Pavel and the lady in the dining room were very kind. The location could not be more perfect.

Great location in city centre, 42 tour tram, directly below funicular and Praha Castle, 10 mins to Charles Bridge. Lower Town is away from tourist crowds but still surrounded by great food, traditional Pilsner pubs, Cantina & Natureza restaurants recommended. Hotel William provides a comprehensive hot and cold breakfast 7-10.30am. Standard EU rooms, super clean en suite. Big windows that open wide but no A/C; NB lower floors are cooler!

Nous avons été très satisfait de notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Pour commencer la chambre était standard et minimaliste mais elle correspondait entièrement à nos attentes (douche ok, lit confortable, chauffage ok). Pour ce qui est de l’hôtel il est à l’image de la chambre, standard mais très correct avec un petit +, le petit dej qui était très varié et gourmand. Le gros plus de l’hôtel: la localisation. Littéralement à 5 min à pied du Pont Charles et a 10 min du centre et du château. Si vous ne souhaitez pas être dans des quartiers bondés de touristes et que cela ne vous dérange pas de marcher un petit peu, alors vous êtes à la bonne adresse. Je recommande!

Hotel is in a good location, on the opposite side of the river to the new and old city centres. Trams run past the door directly to the main train station (just have to walk through the park near the station). Breakfast is good. Standard room is quite small. Nice walk along the river to the Charles Bridge.

Bel hotel, camera spaziosa e bello bagno appena rinnovato. Comodo arrivare con i mezzi, a due passi dal ponte Carlo. Zona con tanti ristoranti. Eccellente e abbondante la colazione. Molto apprezzato per prendere bevande e caffè a ogni ora.

A conveniently located hotel within a 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge. The breakfast in the morning was great. Just be aware that there is no air conditioning in the hotel so it might get a little warm in the summer. They do provide a fan.

Rigtig dejligt hotel, super service fra al personale. Der er ikke aircon på værelset med en gulv/bordvifte som i september varmen fungerede rigtig godt. Der er støj fra vejen og fra sprogvognene men ikke noget et par gode ørepropper ikke kan klare. Dog fungerede det ikke med deres mørklægningsgardiner, de var uens i længden og der var et "gap" ned langs gardinkanten / vinduerne hvor lyset skinnede kraftigt igennem. Og så er jeg ikke fan af en væghængt bruser ! Er der en sådan burde der være badehætter så man ikke skal vaske /tørre hår hver dag. Dejlig tjekkisk morgenmad hvor der intet manglede. Og et kæmpe plus at du som gæst har fri adgang til vand/juice og kaffe hele dage frem til kl 22 i morgenmadslokalet. Og det er tilladt at fylde vandflasken med koldt vand. Eneste store minus og absolut NO GO er at lægge hullet dyne/pudebetræk på samt hullet og slidte håndklæder, det er en ommer.

We stayed at Hotel William for two nights. We liked that the hotel was in Malá Strana, away from the massive crowds in Old Town. The room in which we stayed was spacious, but there were a few things that were not in good condition. Firstly, the door handle fell off as we opened the door, the curtains were not the same length, and the end attachment for the towel bar was loose. Small things that can be quickly and easily fixed. The breakfast the first morning lacked fruit of any sort, so I was happy to see lots of fresh fruit the next morning. Otherwise the breakfast had lots of nice options, both hot and cold.

breakfast was amazing and the staff were friendly but my bed was nit very comfortable and the room had no a/c and was incredibly uncomfortable in 35 degrees next to tram stop and some very good bars and restaraunts

It didn’t have ac, which was ok because it was chilly outside but it’s something to consider if you’re staying there later in the summer. And maybe some rooms have ac. I wish the shower was a little bigger but it’s Europe and everything is smaller here compared to the US! In general I am happy with the hotel and my room and I recommend it.
