Smelled of pot in the hallway, ants in our room, sheets had stains, carpet had stains all over, hot tub was broken and the pool was over 100 degrees. It was not pleasant.

This place is a worn down old horse. The carpet and the chairs in the lobby shot. Free WiFi the write up claimed. It only worked in the lobby. It faded in the hallway and disappeared in the room. The tv had one channel and the remote did not change channels or respond to the guide. The desk people were helpful but I think they heard all this before.

The carpets needed shampooed very badly. My feet were filthy from walking bare footed. The smoke detector was missing. The TV remoter didn't work. The swimming pool was not real clean, and it was warmer than the hot tub.

Very nice property with pool and hot tub. Rooms were big and clean. Staff was nice and allowed us to stay in pool after hours.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Pool and jacuzzi were out of order. Jacuzzi in room did not work. They need to repair the things people come there for.

Pool was closed hot tub was open but water was bath water warm. Floor in room was stained and old. Won’t walk on floor barefoot

I had a hard time with the stairs, the hotel did not have an elevator. Some room numbers were written on paper and stuck on wall by doors. There was a hole cut in carpet by bed.

This looked like a charming hotel, but never judge a book. The staff was very friendly, which was great because there is no elevator and being on a cross country drive, we had plenty to haul up stairs. Once in the room, the cabinet that housed the fridge was worn and the particle board was exposed and flaking. The office chair didn't look much better. Breakfast was ok, with the now standard fair of waffles, cereal, juice and the like. Over all, I'd say it was once a nice little inn, but it needs attention.

Property was nice. But the pool and hot tub were closed.

The pool was absolutely disgusting. That was the whole reason we went. The picture of the pool must have been from years ago. It doesn't look like that anymore. The room had a funk to it, and the internet lied about having changing adapters. Bring a wall charger!

One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. The parking lot was full but it was not noisy at all. We will be back next time we are in Lincoln.

The photos are not up to date. The property is outdated. Carpet was very dirty. Rooms were not very clean.

Sink faucet leaked making a pool of water on the counter. The carpet and wall below were soaked and wall was moldy. The pool was cloudy and didn’t seem to be heated. Before I arrived someone with the same name checked in and my card was used to pay. They did fix that before I arrived

Carpet was dirty, bathroom shower was dirty and wallpaper was coming off near the shower. Refrigerator leaked and caused water damage to cabinet that was ignored. Total refresh needed. Dust everywhere even on light fixtures and ceiling.

We were given a room that was not cleaned. There was soap in the bathtub, broken glass all over the carpet in front of vanity, mold on the wall and the pool was closed. The front desk was nice but seemed hesitant to resolve my issue until she saw the broken glass. The hallway smelled like cigarettes and fried food.

My daughter’s bed has vomit in it, the TV and refrigerator did not work. Then while the baby was playing we found worms on the floor. Left the next morning and will never go back.

The hotel was in a convenient area of the Lincoln whoever the hotel was horrible. The room smelled, dirty with stains.

The entire lobby and hallway smelled like marijuana, I believe it was being smoked in the back office. Our non smoking room smelled like smoke horrible and the stare of the room was run down. We had a hand written note on our desk that said “not dirty, paint stain” above a huge white blotch. We only needed the room to sleep in after the Husker game, which was fine but I wouldn’t stay here again and definitely would not bring my kids with the drug usage.

Everything was as advertised. There were some worn down spots in the room and a few electrical issues otherwise it was fine. Beds were comfy. Good location.

Older property but ok place to stay

Had issues checking in. Staff member was working overtime. Rooms were clean. Could hear guy in next room snoring. People smoking at entrance.

The sink plug was disconnected but I fixed it temporarily but it needs some tools to fix. Forgot to mention it at checkout.

Overall, the room was clean. I cannot say as much for the condition of the room. Ceramic tile falling off of the walls in the shower, furniture was rough condition, walls were scratched and scuffed, the door security latch was broken. Breakfast was sub par compared to other similarly priced hotels.

The bed, tv and fireplace was nice. Disappointing that there was a hottub, but didnt work. Also no bathtub, just a shower and it had a handicap seat in there. So definitely didnt look appealing

The room seemed to be pretty clean however, the super glue on the table and missing and loose handles on the furniture showed the age of the room. I assume some dog was trying to get into the fridge and that is what destroyed the bottom of the dresser/tv stand? Also, not a huge deal, but a light bulb was burnt out and ironing board was missing....I had to iron my clothes on the floor. Time for some repairs and attention to the room. The only other thing was the lack of workout room. I've been trying to stay on track with my workout program, especially with long drives on my trip, and was disappointed that there wasn't a space for this. But, all in all, not bad. I'd stay again.

Staff was excellent. Front desk carried my bags up the steps for me. Furniture and carpet in the room are worn and need replacing. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. There was no port to plug my phone in to charge.

The assistant manager was very rude and disrespectful. I had reserved online for a family member that i didnt know for sure would be able to come to my wedding. So i wanted to pay when they got to hotel. Anyway the assistant manager wouldnt let me do it over the phone i had to come in to pay and i was a hr away. Then was rude about it. Telling me to go somwhere else then if u dont wsnt to come in. When i got there she agsin was rue telling me to go somewhere else. And rolling her eyes at me. Then it was a 100 deposite whic doesnt state on there website. Wow dont go there!

Only one of the front desk staff was very kind, the rest were rude and not very good with people. I’ve been an analyst for customer experience for 15 years and I’ve never encountered such unprofessional behaviors. I’ll never stay at this hotel again.

The staff was amazing, cared about our situation and definitely helped us in a tough situation.

I have never been more upset and terrified staying in a hotel. I am a female driving cross-country alone to bring my mom's ashes home. I have had good experiences at other AmericInns in the past, and mistakenly trusted the brand. Immediately, twice, two unauthorized people were given a key to my room and tried to open the door. Luckily, I always keep the chain locked. Shortly after, the same front desk guy who checked me in asked to know what my name was, because the "system" forgot to check me in the first time. I gave him my name and told him no one better touch this door again. A few hours after that, at around 8:00pm, the cops were called on the room directly next door. A physical altercation involving law enforcement and my next door neighbors was happening directly in front of my door. Banging, yelling, punching... It was quiet after that, finally. However, at about 4am, the same room next door broke out in another verbal altercation. Needless to say, you are not safe here at all. Do not book. In addition, it is the most run down AmericInn I've visited. Mold in the bathroom crevices, the front door did not shut properly, and required special attention to latch. Paintings stolen off the wall. Chipped paint, dirty windows. Not a reedeming quality in-sight for this property. I think I'll head out early and skip the free breakfast. I don't want to risk being near a fist fight for eggs while someone else has the opportunity to break into my room.

The tv remote wasn’t working and we informed the desk twice and was told twice that maintenance would be down and they never came.

This property is fantastic as it’s super easy to get to off of I80. The rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast is a great bonus and all for an affordable price!

Nice area with lots of hotels, dining options, convenience stores. Closeish to UNL or downtown if attending football or volleyball game. Lincoln is easily drivable and ppl are friendly.

Chris Beems at the front desk was great! Personable, offered dining suggestions and info about the area. Very friendly and easy check in process. The room seemed to have a mold issue. Bathroom fan did not work and there was black mold on the ceiling. Room was dusty, smelly and damp and in need of new carpet. My asthma was really causing me issues during my stay due to the mold and dust. Access door to the parking lot had a key access, but I found it was never locked during my stay. The beds were comfortable. The area was safe and had dining and shopping options near by.

The toilet didn't work so they moved us to another room and the bathtub was cracked. People outside begging for cigarettes and money. Parking was a nightmare. Hard to get into the place as it is not marked anywhere to let us know where the entrance is.

Lady said tgey had large vehicle parking. They do not. She was very rude on the phone. So I paid gor the room but could not stay there!

Very friendly, great breakfast

Had my 1 year old with me, move our room to second floor without an explanation, also no elevator. Only in our room for 3 minutes, our door knob inside broke off and would not let us out. Call front desk and it took the employee 10 minutes to get back to me. Took 50 minutes for them to get us out and into a new room. The breakfast was horrible and cold for (hot breakfast)

I booked from my car while traveling, and checked in and was asleep 20 minutes later lol. The double queen room was spacious, linens were crisp and clean😁 Beds were also comfortable, and I was able to control the temperature and lighting easily. I didn’t use the pool, but noticed it was open nice long hours and others were enjoying it when I arrived. Breakfast was decent, would have liked more grab and go options since I was on a timeline. Overall, a good clean option to catch some 💤 at a reasonable price ($116).

Check in was quick and easy, and the attendant was friendly. Room wasn’t fancy but it was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice pool. Breakfast included a waffle maker. All for less than $100!

There was mold on the breakfast sausage this morning. It did not give me confidence in the other items i'd already eaten at that point. The coffee station had styrafoam cups but there were no lids.

The beds were fairly clean; however, the room was a little outdated and the floors were a bit dirty. Never seen gambling machines in a hotel. Breakfast was good, including eggs and sausages. Slight recommendation and not too bad for a budget inn.
