Days Inn by Wyndham Morristown

I booked a handicap accessible smoking king room. I messaged the hotel one week before to make sure everything was good with no response. When we got there to check in we were told that there was not a handicap accessible room smoking, so I asked for a non smoking handicap accessible room and was told they didn’t have any. So we ended up with a king room nonsmoking. When we got to the room there was an office chair that I had to use to get around in the room. The couch that was in the room was disgusting. Stains everywhere. The sheets had stains on them. The mattress had a large yellow stain on it. There were no towels. My husband had to go ask for them. The ice machine was broke. Behind the bed had no baseboard and was disgusting. For it to be a nonsmoking room there were burn marks on the tub in the comforter and on the little table. The floors were so dirty that our white socks were black from walking around. When we woke up the morning of the 6th there was a car blocking us in. It took about 2.5 hours for them to get it moved. Right before we were leaving there were 3 police officers that showed up for some reason. The comforter that was on the bed was not a blanket it was like a curtain. Not thick at all. Will not EVER stay there again. Worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Do not recommend! I have photos but they are to large and won’t upload, for proof.

Room floor not clean, tv remote not working, hard towels, plastic toilet seat broken, Wi-Fi not working, no ice machine, no waste basket. Won't ever stay at this place again ever. A nightmare.

Worst place I’ve stayed . I don’t need anything fancy but it’s gotta be clean . Stained and dingy bed sheets . Pillows and bed looked like they had already been slept on. Brown towels ( supposed to be white) . Filthy walls and bathroom. A lot of what seems to be long term people living here that are hollering and talking loud outside door at all hours . If I didn’t arrive so late at night I would have gone elsewhere . Just a very nasty place that looks like they’d rent by the hour .

There were piles of garbage outside. The first room was filthy, the toilet was not flushed, the bed was not made when we walked into the room. They moved us to a second room, which was not clean, had to come down outside in freezing temp to get pillowcases (none was in the room), there were no blankets (we used ours from the car). Would not stay there again.

Arrived and the only rooms available were full of roaches.

The room was old and ran down. The comforter had burn holes all in it. The pillows were dirty and didnt have pillow cases on them. It was overall nasty. Left after 2 hours of being there. Couldn't handle how dirty it was.

The blankets were dirty the pillows has blood I asked for non-smoking room didn’t have any rooms like that

We found a roach as soon as we entered our room. The sheets had a yellow to it to them and my washcloths had old blood on them.

Everything was either dirty or broken. A hole in the bathroom door, a broken door lock, urine on the walls and bed. Very gross.

Didnt like rooms sheets and beds were nasty in both rooms mamager said they had a new worker that was cleaning and was no good at itt

I was switched into 4 different rooms until I got a minimally acceptable room. 1st and 2nd room didn’t have a working TV & heater knobs were missing so I couldn’t turn on the heat. 3rd room door lock was broken so I could even enter. 4th room I took as I was pretty tired and willing to accept anything at this point. Then there were no towels and some pillow cases missing. I called the night manager and she brought up some towels.

This I think was the worse hotel stay I have had. I actually had stayed here before and do not recall it being that bad. Just people who was outside late cooking out who live there all the time. This time it was bad. They said it was under renovations and there was boxes of things like microwaves in the lobby. Too bad they did not pass them out yet. My room microwave did not work. The tv also some issues and very few channels. I fiinally got to use it but not good. The room was very dirty first night. I told them day 2 of 3 the clean it! My feet was black from walking on it. There was trash on the floor. Food left by someone else. Curtains was dirty. No door handle to bathroom. Toliet paper in it so there was privacy. Toliet did not flush unless you reached in and pulled the level. Then the door to the room did not work right. The key card turned it green but it took awhile to open. Then finally on last night staff used the real to open it and said yeah the handle was broke. It was just bad. I told the staff at the lobby. I think I even forgot some issues. oh yeah they took 3 towls but left one for 2 people. Also coffee but no coffee pot. Was not even there long each day thank goodness! They did not act too concerned. One did but the other looked at me like she was a deer in headlights. Do not expect much here. A place to sleep and that is it. But clean it up and make it safe. Or give back part of the payment! I suggest paying a little more and go some place else.

Tv had no remote, beds missing pillows, no trash can....not sure this room should have been rented..

They moved us to a 2 queen bed room, because they didn't have anything else even though the hotel looked rather empty. This room was only slightly better, but the desk clerk gave us towels and toilet paper. There were cigarette burns on the sheets and a large hole in the bathroom wall.

We had a very nice desk clerk. We had a smoke detector that was going off when we got to our room, she fixed it so we thought it started beeping in the middle of the night again. We had no xtra toilet paper and my sister's room did not have any to start.

Room had no towels or wash clithes. No cups. Room keys wouldn't work even after staff redid them. Staff had to unlock room for us. Air conditioning was not cooling room. We checked out and moved to a different hotel

Bathroom light switch was missing cover so little ones could easily be electrocuted. Most of the lights in the room don’t work. Cigarette burns on bathtub. Mold on baseboards in bathroom. Stains on couch. Paint peeling in room. Had to buy my own pillow in order to sleep, theirs were extremely flat and hard.

The door to my room didn’t want to open and close properly—it was necessary to use a lot of force to get it to open or close. There were no towels or washcloths in the room. There was no remote control for the TV and no HDMI cable to connect the satellite receiver to the TV. The TV had the language set to Spanish, a language I don’t speak. There were a few roaches in the room. The toilet seat was broken at one of the hinges. The small lamps mounted on the walls had a plastic cover with a warning label stating that the covers must be removed before using the lamps, but this had not been done, creating a possible fire hazard. There was an unpleasant odor noticed upon entering the room. The room wasn’t very clean; not filthy, but certainly not as clean as it should have been. There was no trash can in the room. There was no phone in the room.

No towels or washcloths in room/cigarette burn hole in blanket on bed/bare electrical wall outlet maintenance had to find a 3 way cord to accommodate tv/fridge and microwave. There were a lot of subjects just "hanging around" outside of the hotel area.

No towels in room, new person didn’t know where towels were. Had to use my own towel. This place should be closed and renovated! No breakfast as stated on Hotel.com.

I booked a room here for my daughter who was returning to college in Morristown. She left 5 minutes after checking in because she did not feel safe. There were a large number of men making her feel very uncomfortable. She called me and I booked her in at another hotel. I called the Days Inn to let them know what had happened and told them she left. They told me to call Expedia to get a refund. Expedia reached out to this hotel several times and they refused to respond so I was told I would not get a refund.

The beds were clean but a pretty rough place. Many broken items. Staff was very nice. Needs major renovation

The room was never cleaned. Stained bedding. It was just GROSS! Property is next to a semi‐truck distribution for Coke and the air quality was terrible. We left and stayed elswhere in a better area.

Once checked in, I was given a key to a first level room, approaching the room in my vehicle saw many men watering outside of their room with chairs their shoes off their boots lined in front of rooms, part and slowly approached room and started to receive unwelcome comments from these men who were apparently drinking and staying there through a company contract to work in the area. Walked in the room could hear them making comments outside my door so got back in the car went up front and explained to the lady that I felt unsafe and was not staying there and she said that Expedia would refund my money.

This place is a dump. Drug users sitting out front of some of the rooms. The room itself was filthy. Floors were dirty, the sheets, pillow cases, towels, and furniture were all stained and disgusting. The bathroom was dirty, and they didn’t even give you soap. The room didn’t even look the same as the ones in the pics. Do not book at this hotel.

We chose not to stay. Room was not clean, coffee pot had not been cleaned; had old coffe. Hair in the sink. The outlet by the sink did not have a cover. Smelled like smoke even tho it was a non smoking room.
