The room was neat and very clean—comparable to Crowne Plaza standards. The location is extremely convenient, right next to the Airport Bus stop. We had an early morning flight and left the hotel at 6:00 a.m. to catch the 6:15 a.m. Bus 350. After arriving at the domestic terminal, a free shuttle took us to the international terminal, and the whole journey took less than 40 minutes and only AUD 2.8. The hotel also offers a shuttle service right from the front door at AUD 12 per person.

A fast smooth interaction getting us from the car into our room quickly. Parking was a breeze, the rooms safe, secure. The rooms exactly what you would expect, modern, well designed, comfortable. The only minor issue was on one of the beds the bottom sheet only went half way but it was an easy fix.

This was a nice hotel with all the amenities you would expect. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet despite being near the airport. The staff were very friendly! The breakfast buffet was awesome! They even had barista-made coffees. There was some construction/renovation going on with a lift, so some there was a little debris with that, but otherwise everything was quite tidy. The parking was a bit steep as we stayed 4 nights. I guess that’s the price you pay for convenience, though. It was super easy and quick returning our rental vehicle and getting to the airport.

On arrival at 3:15pm (after regular checkin time of 2pm) was told our room type wasn’t available because it had not finished being cleaned. I have two young kids and needed the room to get ready to be at a party at 4pm. I asked if we could get a room to get ready in and then they can swap us to room with the bedding configuration we needed. They said no. Had to check in after 7pm because we couldn’t wait around. Then next morning, no hot water in our shower. Tried multiple times between 7-8am on a Sunday. Husband has to have a freezing cold shower in the middle on winter. Then I discovered hot water was coming from sink tap and had to use a cup and sink water to shower. Then when my husband opened his towel off the rack a big chunk of hairball fell out of it. Which was disgusting. Breakfast and bed were the only saving grace. But I would not recommend staying here and will not stay here in the future.

Last visit was MUCH better. Service not good, unclean bathrooms in public areas, room not cleaned,, other let downs. Chef very good in breakfast. Some staff not as well trained as others and need supervision to ensure consistent good service. Better service seems to focused on their busier times from Thursday, Saturday etc.

The room was clean and well appointed. It has everything we needed and was very quiet. The black out curtains worked for a change and made it very easy to get a good nights sleep. The beds were comfortable and the location was very convenient for a stop over. The breakfast buffet was very good and all of the staff were friendly and approachable.

The room was great but the staff was exceptional especially Satoshi in the front check in area. He went out of his way to help us, with weighing out luggage to getting a tape measure from the maintenance so we could measure our luggage to coming to our room because we were having trouble with the A/C. I can’t express enough how helpful he was in making our stay great. He is definitely a great asset to The Crown Plaza Hotel.

The water temperature in room 303 was horrible. The water was either scolding hot or freezing cold. There wasn’t an in between. The female (purposely used that term) at the front desk was very rude by continually placing either my ID or Credit Card on the counter when I place it in her hand.

The hotel is very close to the airport and a two minute walk to the Mascot subway station. The harbour area of Sydney is just a few subway stops away. The room was very clean, quiet, modern and spacious. I would stay here again if in Sydney.

We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds as a stopover before an international flight. Transfer to and from the airport were on time and good value. Room service in the afternoon arrived quickly and we had dinner in the Biggles Bar & Bistro, which had great food. Room was neat and clean, the check-in and out were great, and there was very little noise. A great option for an airport hotel.

Great location - easy to get to and only a few minutes from the airport. Mascot station and the city circle line is only a few minutes walk away. We always stay here when travelling or greeting family from overseas. The rooms are a generous size, and the Biggles Bar and restaurant is a great place to have a farewell drink or quick bite. Parking is very convenient and in-out access is a breeze. Highly recommended

Check in was good, however the TV would not work with the QR code. Staff member came to the room, spent 30 mins or more trying to fix, but couldnt. He left the room said sorry, and that was it. On check out, I was asked how our stay was, I advised we had no TV for our stay, again said sorry, but added $5.60 for a tooth brush that my wife asked for. No problem, happy to pay for the tooth brush, but what about the TV we did pay for that didnt work. Pretty ordinary to have the hide to charge for the tooth brush then...Next time we will stay at the Rydges or Pullman
