Overall we had to cancel and find another place to stay. After checking in & being in the room maybe 30 minutes, we noticed how dirty and poorly maintained the property was…and decided to leave after we felt we were being bitten. Carpeting was filthy. Seems to be a place for the local homeless to panhandle, then get a cheap room for the night. Staff was friendly but clearly understaffed. Clear lack of concern from the owners, or whoever is in charge. Broken elevator, pool closed, plumbing in disrepair. foul odors in lobby and room. Literally a 0 out of 10. The two ladies at reception were kind and took care of our cancellation and check out quickly and kindly.

Pool out of order and gym out of order. First reception desk encounter was with a young girl, had white headphones on which leads me to believe that she wasn’t even listening to me, short with her conversation, not welcoming, not friendly. Second reception encounter was so much more pleasant, with an older woman. Bed was sunken in on one side, and the bath tub didn’t really work well. With the only amenities available is the breakfast, this definitely was an average experience for what we paid for.

Location is great! However, the property did not reflect what was advertised. Pool had no water. Gym had been closed for months. Laundry area was closed. The halls smell pretty bad. No cleaning service, you must exchange your own towels. Overall it was decent for the price. Mattresses were clean. Continental breakfast was okay. Staff was nice.

This property has a 88% cleanliness score Paint peeling old water stains pool dirty and not filled or in proper working order needs to be completely replaced the building needs to be torn down and rebuilt trying to put a bandate on an old property with old furniture just to make a dollar does not make anyone stay any more pleasant the furniture in the lobby is old the furniture in the rooms are old the newest things on this property is probably the mattresses would not recommend staying here the reservation was not red properly I asked for a double room that gave me a single water pressure terrible hot water took 15 minutes to get hot not exaggdreading asked for clean towels was told I had to bring the dirty ones back first. Next time I'll pay the extra for better accommodations. Would never recommend the quality end in Greensboro again.

AVOID this place at all cost! When checking in it started with the normal disclaimers: no smoking in your room, no candles and then took a turn at no prostitutes! This hotel does NOT have a gym facility or a pool as listed! It’s been closed for over a year due to lack of funds apparently. The rooms are dirty, the staircase smells like pee and the staff is rude! The shower water doesn’t get hot at all and the toilet has someone else’s skid marks. Be warned! Unless you want a hotel where other peoples weed fills your room and you hear some serious fights in the hallway for staff only to say “what do you want us to do about it” avoid this hotel

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. Sat in the lobby for 25 minutes waiting for staff to show up so I could check in (this was at 5pm, not late at night). Entire place reeks of cigarettes and or pot. Roaches everywhere outside. Pool empty and full of trash. Dried blood on the wall in the bathroom. Just really gross. The breakfast area was the bright spot, clean and very polite staff

The odor (of 'black mold') coming from the room that I was given was so strong that my wife could smell it 10 feet away (standing on the sidewalk) as I entered the room before her - just to make sure that nothing was amiss within it. The mold was easily visible on the white sheers (i.e., window curtains). It was growing on the outside (the eaves / facade) of the entire structure as well. It was so profound that my sinuses 'locked up' within 4-5 minutes of standing inside of this room. Went out to dinner. 10 minutes later, my sinuses were clear again. (I have no allergies. It was the black mold causing a normal bodily reaction.) Consequently, upon arriving back at this motel (after dinner), we promptly 'checked out' - and went to another motel. I lost all of that money on a night never used (in/on that room). It was the best 'waste of money' that I ever committed. I would have been deathly ill (the next AM) had I stayed the entire night in this motel. I believe that it is a legitimate 'health hazard'. Just drive the parking lot. You'll see the signs of it on the exterior of the structure.

The room was extremely dirty and humid to the point that the furniture and everything else in the room was wet feeling to the touch. The room also smelled so strongly of mold (or something foul of that sort) that it was borderline unbearable to be in and had given me a sore throat by the time I left in the morning.

This place was disgusting. It barely looked like it was cleaned. Sticky carpets, roaches running around, someone’s leftover hair in our room. Everything stunk like weed even though they claim they’re non-smoking. Waited at the front desk for 15mins before someone came to check us in- at that point there was a line of 10 people waiting to be checked in. I’ll never stay at this place again- save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Good food places around walking distance. Arena was close by and felt safe walking back at night. Hotel needs an update to room. Door had to be slammed hard to close and shower area needed some update with paints.

Entry light switch did not work, so I had to walk in dark room fumbling for a lamp. Trash behind entry door. Rust spots all over bathtub. Very old carpet. Had to lift front of refrigerator off floor to open its door. Phone was dirty and looked to be 20 years+ old. Arrived late at night – check in lady very nice, but security measures felt like you were checking into a prison.

This place is cheap but definitely has some maintenance issues. Shower didn’t work, coffee maker didn’t work, fridge was leaking water and the back door entrances weren’t locked at night because the key reader was broken. Staff was friendly and the surrounding area is convenient.

The staff was great and responsive. The room and place are questionable. This place needs an overall renovation. The first room was good until a water leak from the above room was coming down next to the bed and onto the lamp and table. It also havd no hangiers, so I was able to change room quickly. The second room was acceptable, a hole in the wall as if someone kicked it. The sink had a very slow drain and the food backed up. (they fixed that later in the day) Paint peeling from the top of shower and grout around bathtub looks to be black mold. Breakfast was okay, the Scrambled Eggs were salty, and peanut butter cups were hard. I would look to stay at a different place next time. The last night, there was a party next door that had a hot tub. When I turned in for the night, there were 12 people. Looks like they rent a room for a party only. They were noisy to my surprise.

Check-in staff was friendly and quick. Hotel is a bit run down from the outside and area is not so clean. I highly recommend 2nd building, very quiet! 1st building was full and a bit noisy. Next to mall and food options. I didn't see any bugs which was a HUGE PLUS FOR ME.

To begin upon check in you are required to pay a $50 non smoking deposit, the non smoking room had big burn holes in the bed linens. The room curtains has burn holes in them as well. The door that we were instructed to use to access our room would not unlock with the room key at 2am which I had to go back to the office to retrieve a new key. The room next door reeked of weed into the hallway. The office staff was ok, she knows her job but needs a vacation. Oh yeah bed was not at all comfortable!

We booked for 2 nights while on a business trip. The staff in reception was awesome! She had a great, positive personality and seemed genuinely happy to be there. We were in room 104. The room was acceptably clean to where you feel good about walking barefooted on the carpet. It could use a "move-the-furniture" deep clean, but that describes most hotel rooms I've rented. The bed was comfortable, clean, and there was a full casement on the mattress. Although the outlets on a couple of the lamps didn't work, there were adequate outlets on the walls for those who use a CPAP or want to charge their phones. A microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker were included. The desk chair was comfortable, but did not roll well on the carpet. That wouldn't bother most people. I was there working though, so it was somewhat inconvenient. Our room included a complimentary hot breakfast, which was tasty and included eggs, biscuits & gravy, hot make-your-own waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and various bread options. The breakfast staff was quick to refill items and was friendly. The breakfast area was clean and well-stocked. The only area of concern that I noted was the parking lot on the exit side. It could use some repairs in several places. We enjoyed our stay at this motel and would have no problem staying there in the future if work takes me back to Greensboro.

Stay Away if you can! Worst experience ever... First time I ever get bed bug bites... it is infected... Place needs to be updated... They do not make room service every day, only about every 3 days. On our second night, at about 4:30 am, we heard shootings just outside of the hotel... felt very insecure.... I never write bad review, but this time I felt like I had to... I went to the High Point Furniture Market and there were no more hotels available.

We were concerned because the price was so low but this was a great overnight. I asked a couple of questions before the stay and they were promptly answered. The receptionist when we checked in was personable and helpful. The breakfast was standard as expected with waffles cereal fruit coffee tea and juices and the single kitchen staff was very friendly and personable as well. This was almost a steal at the price for a night!

Our key card stopped working and we were unable to get a hold of the front desk - we kept calling and no one would answer. I had to walk up there and NO ONE was at the front desk and the doors to lobby part were locked I had to walk around the building and found employee in her car smoking.

The young lady Christi that checked us in was very friendly. We were in town for New Student Orientation at NCAT. The overall quality of the hotel/room is what I’m basing this review on. It was old and very outdated, the room was very muggy. We were told that their housekeeping staff was limited and service was every 3 days (like where they do that at?!? Apparently HERE) There were hairs in the washcloths before I was even able to use them for the first time (pics attached), my daughter woke up in the middle of the night to a Rollie Pollie crawling on her lip in the bed. Overall… I will not choose this hotel ever again.

The front staff was wonderful. They held the room even with a late arrival. The room was clean, but did have a musty smell. It does have a wonderful shower. The AC struggled to cool the room. The fitness center is closed. Breakfast was great!

There were bagels, toast, waffles, coffee, tea, bananas. Breakfast was good. First impression of the hotel was NOT good. So much so if I could have gotten my money back I would have gone elsewhere. I won't be lodging there again. The kitchen lady was pleasant.

The front desk informed me that the room would only be cleaned every 3 days. My shower was not working properly. It was leaking at the faucet and therefore did not provide enough water pressure to the showerhead. I reported it to the front desk and was told that I was not pulling the handle out far enough. The lady at the front desk had no interest in listening to my concerns. The solution that she provided was incorrect and did not help at all. There was hardly anything offered for breakfast. I do not plan on staying there again.
