One star because a routine three-night stay became a serious billing problem this hotel failed to correct. I booked a pay-at-property stay through Hotels.com. Before arrival, Hyatt began processing my debit card. At check-in, I told staff not to use it and provided another card. Multiple authorizations nevertheless hit the original card while the second card also received a hold, making a substantial amount of money unavailable. Management later confirmed in writing that the authorizations on the original card had been released and that it was no longer being used. Yet Hyatt tried to debit it on each of the next two nights. Both attempts failed only because I kept the card locked, preventing its normal use. I reported the first new attempt and received no response before the hotel tried again. Partial compensation was offered, but no dependable resolution was provided. The smaller service failures reflected the same lack of attention. On day two, housekeeping entered our room but only made the bed. No clean towels were provided, and the empty tissue box was not replaced. The pool also had no towels on two consecutive mornings. None of these issues alone would justify a one-star review, but they reinforced the overall lack of service. The repeated billing failures, especially after written assurances that the problem was fixed, make it impossible for me to recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly. We were surprised our room wasn't cleaned between our first and second day. Also, there could be more seating for the hotel guests in the breakfast area. Many hotel guests were waiting fir others to finish so they could sit down. We would stay there again.
