Facility is clean (rooms and common areas), no trash in halls and no sign of bugs. Older building, some wear and tear. Fitness center has basic equipment. Good low cost option, lots or restaurants in walking distance.

At our arrival we were pleasantly welcomed . Loved the decor. The elevator was slow so several times we took the stairs. The room was comfortable and much needed after travel. Restaurant was close by. Close to Balloon & Laser Event we were attending in Simpsonville. Had Ice & Vending Machines price for drinks and snacks low.

Pro: Outside of hotel was presentable and clean. Food and shopping was easily accessible and convenient. Checking in we were greeted with a very pleasant staff. The lobby and elevator had lots of inspirational decor. A safe and quiet area. Cons: Once we checked in and got to our room on the second floor we opened our room door and were greeted with an unpleasant smell. This smelled of mildew. Luckily, I travel with a small essential oil diffuser which did a tremendous job of clearing that up. But, the next thing I had no remedies for. Upon unpacking things and getting ready to wind down for the night my husband and I noticed our feet felt alittle grimy. Mind you, we always wear socks in hotel rooms. But even so this particular carpet was so dirty that the dirt penetrated our socks onto my feet. The carpeting in our room was dark blue so we couldn’t visualize any stains or highly saturated areas to avoid. I would highly suggest the hotel invest in new carpets for their rooms or a company to come in and give each room an industrial carpet cleaning. Overall, we enjoyed our single night stay. The hotel was quiet and we didn’t feel uncomfortable or unsafe. The parking lot was well lit and we were able to park our car just under our hotel room window. The decor and essential in the room were a bit outdated, but for a single night stay it was just what we needed.

I was not expecting much before coming here,but it was a really pleasant surprise. Clean,cozy and spacious room. Walkable to places to eat and shopping. This building is not new but definitely been recently renovated.Easy parking,easy to check in. The breakfast is very simple but coffee station is pretty nice. I would come back again.

Very pleasantly surprised! Clean, comfy room, we only needed one night and only a small bite for breakfast. Front desk was friendly. Safe and ample parking. This was a good bang for our buck! *for those wanting a gourmet, hot breakfast... just be sensible, this isn't it BUT was also not expected. A very nice stay at a very good rate.

The property was clean and well lit.

Overall, the property was disappointing! I saw a rating of close to Exceptional on Expedia but it had some aspects that were nowhere near exceptional. 1. Internet speeds are a ridiculous 380kb max, 2. Lobby pictures showed a fully stocked pantry...completely empty!, 3. Washcloths were cheap and felt like sandpaper, 4. Only 1 vending machine in the entire hotel, and it was out-of-order after the 2nd night of my stay, 5. Fridge wouldn't get extremely cold even on the coldest setting (was medium cold but not ice cold). Business customers who need a fast internet connection should steer clear of this property. It seems mgmt is cutting corners to save money or maximize profits. I won't be back.

There was no breakfast. A had a banana and a tangerine, the banana was bad. Nothing was fresh. The bed was comfortable and clean I have to say. The bathroom was falling apart. The shower curtains were ripped and stained. They curtain rod was detached from the wall. The toilet seat was very loose. The toilet was super small. The repairs they did in the bathroom were very cheap, like the caulking. When you enter the lobby area a very strong smell hits you in the face, I don’t know if it is the smoke from people smoking or the chemicals from the laundry room, which it was open. The front desk people should dress professionally and not in sweat pants. No greetings at all. I think motel 8 should have been a better choice. Nothing personal,but for almost $250 for two nights, I will not recommend this hotel at all.

Room was no so clean and carpet sort of dirty although they claimed they clean them regularly. Tried to iron my shirt, but the iron was extremely dirty, look like somebody had iron a piece of plastic. See the picture. Shower beaker also broken I could barely close the curtain. Overall, I would avoid this hotel, pay $30 more and go for something better like the holiday

The pictures on the website are VERY deceiving. The room was damp, had some kind of stain on the wall in the bathroom that I wasn't sure if it was blood or poop. And the SHOWER? It looked like someone had taken a junkyard tub and put contact paper in the bottom, but didn't even bother to actually cover it. They did fix our running toilet, but the hall smelled of dampness and weed. Yes, people were smoking weed in a non-smoking hotel. And, on the day we were leaving WE SAW ROACHES! I actually killed one big one and my husband killed three small ones. We shook out EVERY SINGLE ITEM we had as to not bring them back home with us. The staff was friendly and we didn't complain because the money was spent and we were only there for two nights for business purposes.

This property is somewhat moldy and Smokey. I had to switch rooms because the smell was unbearable in the first room. The bathrooms could use some better cleaning. To be fair the hotel seems old and outdated.

The hotel needs LOTS of renovation. The bathroom in our room was gross! There was urine around the base of the toilet. The toilet seat was so loose that it almost came off. There was hair on the floor around the toilet. The tube/shower floor hasn't been scrubbed in a long time. Needless to say I wore my flip flops the whole time.

Location is convenient, room was clean. Bathroom could use some repair work around the shower area, but that is only cosmetic. The bed was super comfortable and everything was very clean.

Room was very small for 2 people.

Hotel is clean has a positive vibe w many inspiring words and statements the only problem I had was the internet was not working.

We appreciate the honesty of the front desk for informing us that the Wi-Fi was down. We are also grateful that the manager will be refunding money for our one night stay (originally two). The rooms are fine but have an older / musty smell so they could definitely use refreshing. The room above us may have been occupied by nocturnal elephants since we heard their footsteps overhead all night long. Compared to other similar properties in the area, I hope the owners invest in an update.

Very clean, comfortable room with proper amenities. Room was small, as to be expected with Microtel, but everything was functional and laid out as it should be. For a solo business traveler, it was ideal! Great value, everything I need, nothing I don’t. Friendly staff. Pleasant vibe. Good breakfast. Convenient location. I will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!!

The Mgr. Bash was extremely friendly and offered some local restaurant recommendations for our stay. We were only there for one night as we were driving through. My room was very small with a very comfortable queen size bed. But, clean, and quiet. My sister had a king size room which was close to 4 times the size of my room. Which she and my brother-in-law loved. They also had a nice sitting area with a couch. It was the size of a suite, but in one room. For the price we paid, I feel like it was a good deal. We went to First Watch for breakfast, so I don’t know what the breakfast options were. That area was not very nice, it was small and crowded without many places to sit. Looked like motel lobby area decor, so it wasn’t really that inviting ( in my opinion)

The property and staff was great. Walls are thin, expect noise if kids are by you. Bring your own pillow

Brand new and clean rooms Would highly recommend the hotel and the location My only complaint is my room had the adjoining room door, which makes him very susceptible to noise. And the people in the room next to us were unreasonably loud until 6:00 a.m. I had to call the front desk three times to come and talk to them. And I was offered nothing for my inconvenience. I got next to zero sleep in a room I paid to sleep in

The staff was extremely accommodating! Rupa worked it out so we could check in early because we arrived in town early. The entire staff was wonderful!

Stayed here before for our anniversary. They were doing some minor renovations but the stay way pleasant and nice. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Will stay again!

The person working at the front desk was very friendly. He gave us plenty of information about the area (things to do and places to go). Check in was easy. We will come back again. The price for the stay was reasonable.

The staff was very responsive. When we reported that our room fridge wasn't working, they gave us an upgraded room with a working fridge right away. When we reported a spill in the breakfast area, they mopped it up two minutes later.

Had an issue with the power going out in a portion of my room. When I went up to report it, the lady at the front desk was cold, rude, and acted as if I was imposing on her. She finally said in a rude tone “well the only thing I can do is change your room,” which she did. My point is that it means a lot when the people you deal with are nice, which wasn’t the case here. I was actually made to feel as if I did something wrong. I travel a lot, especially in the past year. This is the first time I’ve encountered an attitude such as this person displayed.

Reasonable price but the room had a horrible smell. We moved to another room and that was much better. Two different ladies were rude to me one during check-in and one during check-out

In a safe place and many things around it. Would stay again

The desk manager gave us a free room upgrade when we arrived for check-in which was very much appreciated. The staff was very responsive and friendly. Location is also convenient to I-85 and I-385. Our only negative was that it was sometimes difficult and time consuming to get on to Woodruff Road at the stop light.

It is decent for the money - direct access to one of the busiest areas in Greenville

Beautiful Microtel! Only a few miles from downtown Greenville. The manager was very pleasant. He suggested places to eat in the area. Good restaurant next door!

Don’t trust the pictures. Booked because of an 8.2 rating, good reports from recent reviews and, while not directly described, the pictures of the breakfast seemed to show a full buffet breakfast with plenty of variety. What we arrived to find was not as advertised. Not a dirty or unclean place to stay, but there are some smells that are off putting. Even had to request another room initially because of an unclean smell. The staff was very helpful in the request, however. The breakfast was the big disappointment. Basically waffles, fruit or cereal and instant coffee. Overall, the place served the purpose for our stay, just left me wanting a decent breakfast and feeling like the reviews and rating did not accurately reflect the experience.

Bed was comfortable. Food options within walking distance and a short drive to the mall and other dining options. Breakfast could have had more options. It was the same every day and not much to choose from. So overall, for the price it was a good stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing that was wrong was the so-called complimentary breakfast.

Very nice quiet place, comfortable beds. Very good breakfast, homemade waffles, egg and cheese omelet. Rooms were very clean. Rooms a bit small but really enjoyed it here.

The hotel is beyond tacky inside and smells like cigarette smoke. The breakfast is try cereal, white bred and waffles (so fine I your 6 years old) no juice or fruit, that was it. The toilet was tiny and very low to the ground, water pressure was a drizzle. I'd give one star but the bed was comfy

Was disappointed with the breakfast. Only white bread and a toaster that didn't work. No attendant to keep things filled.
