Stayed 7 nights

Update: We originally booked for August 13 through August 22. Upon arrival, we told the desk clerk that we would probably only need the room through August 17. He said it would be easier to only charge us for that time period and if we need more nights we would be charged as we stayed because it was harder to do a refund. I signed for the nights needed. Our card got hit for the full amount. One of several non truths. This hotel appears to accommodate mostly homeless people rather than travelers working away from home. Although there was a construction crew there, evidenced by heavy boots stomping up the steps and above us all hours of the night. Elevator down, put on 2nd floor and told we would be moved to the 1st floor the next day. Next day told the only room available was one that a lady with 3 dogs and a 6 month stay had just moved out of. It wouldn’t be ready. TV never worked and no one showed up to fix it as promised. People hanging outside the property smoking and talking loudly made me uncomfortable. We were gone a lot - again not a deal breaker. The steps and hallway were not cleaned until our last day there. We came back and the cleaner caused me to have an asthma attack. I had to use an N95 mask just to pack up our things. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund for the night. I was told because it was through a third party, Hotels.com, I had to contact them. Hotels.com told me it was up to the hotel’s policy.

If I can make a suggestion: Please mop the floors when guests leave. This hotel accommodates work crews and my floors were very dirty. My socks turned brown my first night from walking around my room. Excellent otherwise! I would recommend this peaceful, safe and clean hotel.

Stayed 2 nights

We checked in and tried showering only to have water as cold as ice, door lock didn’t work. Called front desk his response was change rooms. We were already unpacked and he didn't seem to care, he said no one was there to fix anything. Moved rooms to take a shower in room number 2 and the bathroom bath mat was dirty, we used a towel cus the bath mat was that dirty, the shower wall had black curly hair stuck to it. Called front desk three times, no answer. Went to front desk no one there. Can in at night no one at desk.
