Stayed 1 night

The front desk staff were very friendly during check-in and check-out. The lobby looked clean and pretty nice. We drove around to park underneath, I felt the area by the back door was a little run-down and sort of creepy. We entered our room, #806 and it felt very humid and kind of warm inside. I took my sandals off and the carpet had a wet feeling. Everything sort of felt a little damp. The bathroom was clean but it definitely needed some help. The water continuously ran from the tap, not a leak, fully running. I tried to turn it off but it didn't stop the entire time. We left for a concert at the arena and I turned the AC (a very dated box on the wall) down when we left and when we returned several hours later the air felt cooler and the carpet didn't feel as wet. The cookies were really good and we enjoyed our view of the river. If I needed to come to Jacksonville for an event again I might stay here again. The price was good, it just felt like an old hotel that could use a little updating.

No fridge in the room, and the ice maker on my floor was broken. No water in the fitness room; the TVs did not work either.
