DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jacksonville Riverfront

We’ve never stayed at a Doubletree in such terrible shape & in need of a renovation. The hotel was very old, not well maintained. Elevators were slow and sounded old. The carpet in our room was in bad condition and appeared not to be properly vacuumed. no towel bar in the bathroom. There was a load noise (probably the elevator) above our room. We couldn’t sleep so we had to switch rooms at 1am. The other room was in similar (old) condition. No ice on at least 3 floors ( we stopped searching after the 3rd floor). Very disappointing for $500 a night!!

the rooms were not clean . it had a smell and some dirty panties on the floor and they did not change our room to make our stay better . we checked out early and found a better cleaner room. i will never stay at a doubletree again

This hotels needs serious upgrades I almost tripped getting on the elevator cause of the floors everything looks dirty it’s not worth the money they charging

Outdated and smelly

This hotel is in dire need of updates in rooms. Carpets are dirty, wallpaper is peeling in bathrooms and there is mold. There was no cable (so no TV) for the whole time I was there and no ETA on repairs when reported to front desk. I was so disappointed as this is a Hilton property. They can do better.
