The hotel was nice and felt comfortable. There were only three working elevators out of 8. Only one of those elevators actually requirred a card key to go up which is a safety concern. We had a club room but the club wasn't opened on the weekend. The coffe maker in the club was out of order so no coffee at all. I paid full club price for the entire week but could only use it for 5 days.

As far as the room, it was clean and comfortable as expected. Check-in was quick but we reserved two rooms and weren't able to get them on the same floor. The hotel is large with nice restaurants on ground floor and a convention center. There are eight elevators that need programming or updated to handle the guests. It was quicker going up the emergency stairs than the wait to get on the elevator. Other than that we enjoyed our Fourth there, perfect spot to be to watch the fireworks.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. Walking distance to EverBank Stadium and many restaurants. Valet is expensive, imo, at $47.30 (with tax) per night. Self park was $35+tax per night. I'm really wondering if Hotels.com is the best way to go. Even being Platinum, I seem to always get one of the lesser rooms. Anyway, room was SUPER musty smelling but seemed clean. Very basic, nothing special, but the Riverfront view was worth the extra price. Seems an update is needed but they were certainly busy so I guess why bother? All in all, decent, but was expecting a bit more for a Hyatt Regency and it was definitely the highest price in the area.

The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. The view was amazing. The cleanliness was sub par. There was someone else’s hair stuck to the shower walls when I arrived. The shower curtain had mold on top of them. The carpets in the hallways had a foul odor. There was a broken drink glass in the elevator lobby that sat there for hours with a wet floor sign over it. When they came in and cleaned the room, they remade the bed with visibly dirty sheets. Not what I expected for $200/night.

Property is nice. Room was fine. The bathroom floor was sticky. Our shoes and slippers stuck to the floor. Shower tub did not drain well. We had a nice water view. The bar was nice. Allison was a wonderful bartender. All in all it was perfect for one night and close to Daily’s for a concert.

The room was not properly cleaned for our stay. When I went to shower in the morning there was hair all over the shower wall and tub as well as a dirty used wash rag hanging from the shower rod. It was rather upsetting to discover the next day and realizing we just spent the night in a room that wasn’t cleaned.

I was very shocked to see the conditions of ny room. Vwry very dusty. Food particles on the lap stands, toilet in horrible condition. I used toilet paper to even sit on it. Rusted parts in the bathtub. The club room needed to be kept clean as well. I won't stay there again.

Hotel room is pretty good overall. Only one thing AC unit keep you awake at night. I don’t know who’s idea that put AC unit 2 feet away from people head. Banging sound every time AC restarts and vibration like sleeping on trains tracks. Every thing else very good.

Upon arrival, no hot water at all. It was late at night so thought maybe it would be resolved the next morning. It wasn’t. Front desk was friendly and accommodating in that she provided access to another room on the same floor that did have hot water. Inconvenient but not that big a deal. Arrived back in my room late afternoon and had luke warm water… ugh. By the next morning, it was freezing cold again. I won’t return.

Very quiet, comfortable, large room. Front desk accommodated my request for a high floor. Elevators, fast and plentiful. Valets were super friendly, as was all the staff who I encountered. Food was very good in the bar. Watched dolphins swimming, in the river, right across the street. Easy walk to the Florida theater.

Very nice room, 2 queen beds, partial river view! Very comfortable. Bathroom could use some updates (chipped counter top, tub/shower faucet diverter probably needs replaced) but bathroom was very large and lots of towels! Great location and perfect for my needs. Food and service at Shor/Tavern was great! Very comfortable stay.

The property is fine. The check-in was quick but the individual we spoke to did not mention that they downgraded the room from a king to double queens (which is generous to the actual size of the beds). They moved us to a different king that had "just opened up" and then charged us to upgrade to it as it was a river view (which I believed I had booked already but my itinerary doesn't mention the view, so who knows). I understand that things happen, I just hate being treated like I did something wrong in the process.

The valet parking was horrific. I have stayed in this hotel before and never had such a problem. Valet was rude and in your face. I saw attendants block customers from entering the hotel demanding to show their room key. I was demanded to tell the attendants what I was doing there, blocking me from exiting my car. It was weird. All weekend. It was horrible.

We arrived to check in at 3, I did the early check in online and chose the hr earlier check in. When we arrived to check in we were informed our room was not ready. OK understandable, technically check-in is at four. So I provided my phone number to receive a text when the room would be ready. By 430 We still heard nothing. Keep in mind This is 30 minutes after normal check-in time. We were on the hotel property this entire time waiting. After standing in a long line to check the status of our room, we were informed that our room had been ready for a while. The hotel attendant was very apologetic in regard to us never receiving our text. However, this delay, put us behind on our evening events. It’s a small inconvenience, but one that I think should be handled. Otherwise our evening at the Hyatt was to Hyatt standards as it is every time we visit this hotel.

Lots of homelessness in the area which did not always make me feel safe when out and about. Beautiful hotel, very posh and clean but extremely high priced dining options with horrible food! No seasoning whatsoever and barely warm even when dining in restaurant! Literally the worst ever! In town for a concert at Vystar Memorial Arena (Glorilla) and absolutely nothing else to do in the area. Very UNentertaining! Lots of pubs and bars though…

Have stayed here many times for Concerts and Sporting Events. Its a close walk to several Venues, Dining, and date night options. The views at night are awesome with the lighting around the river and bridges. Will as always stay here again

Beautiful hotel. Room very clean and bedding comfortable. Service of every employee was over and beyond expectations. Our only disappointment was the food in the tavern/Shors Seafood. Ordered fish and chips and received panko coated cod fingers ( just like the frozen ones at Trader Joes), Would return to hotel, but definitely NOT eat in it's restaurant.

The hotel is pretty nice in itself, however we had someone's fake eyelash on her bathroom vanity when we checked in. I thought it was funny until my husband said that means they didn't even wipe down the counter because if they did that eyelash wouldn't be there. Also there's not a lot of places to eat around there for a decent meal that's not fast food. We ended up eating at a restaurant in the hotel. We were told it was going to be a 25-minute wait, it ended up being an hour. We ordered drinks immediately and that took 20 minutes to get to the table. We ordered our entrees and that took 30 minutes and wouldn't you know it, are entrees got delivered to the table next to us on accident so then we had to wait longer for the entrees to be remade. It's a very large Hotel, and I guess because it was Sunday not a lot of places were open, but the area surrounding this hotel is not the greatest neighborhood.

From the time we arrive to park the car, we were immediately greeted with the option to Valet park. We checked in for our room and then was rewarded with an upgraded suite much to my surprise. It was a large and spacious room with a separate bedroom, kitchen amenities with a barista machine a table for sitting in a very nice living room sofa two TVs was presented as well with the beautiful view. The dining area was wonderful. They had presentations of assemblance Creole cuisine. There’s two dining areas and a 24 Hour Market place for dining options as well especially if you’re up at night and you want a cup of cappuccino or a deli sandwich or an assortment of drinks. There was also a hotel store for the personal items that you might have left home. They have a gym. Parking was awesome. There was a walking area with multiple restaurants in the area as well and I plan on renting this hotel again in the future.
