Hotel is in a good location and looks nice. Carpet in room and bathtub is stained and dirty looking. Don’t get it? Sign front desk pool being renovated not available. Pool has do not enter signs and people are using it? Breakfast was nice though!

Very enjoyable overall. We usually book in transit where we stay and look for places with king bed,breakfast,parking,and pool/hot tub.It seems that lately…meaning the last 3-5 years…many places with pool/hot tub availability are 50/50 or less with tot tub operational…maybe some way to let us know in the info space if said hot in/pool is operational…thank you

Pool opened the day we left. Building is old in need of repairs. Bathroom vent not working. AC unit had to be replaced. Shower tiles coming off the shower wall. Shower curtain rod hanging down. Mentioned to maintance man but not repaired in the 2 weeks we stayed

I had an outside room number 118. I might as well have been in a motel six. The website for the motel was extremely misleading. It showed beautiful rooms and the center courtyard in the lobby. They have entertainment called the comedy zone Saturday night after dinner we could not even find a parking space around the entire hotel to get to our room, they should mark off spaces reserved for each individual room, the only plus to this hotel is the breakfast was delicious

This hotel has been here a long time, and it's just as good as it was 20 years ago. Our room was clean and well maintained, except for the air conditioner which made noise the entire night. Our room overlooked the pool which was clean and in great condition. We were given vouchers for the breakfast buffet and glad we went. The buffet was top notch. The location is right off I295 and is central to many businesses including shopping and restaurants. We had a great stay here.

Attractive hotel. Requested non smoking but given smoking room first. Immediately changed it. Restaurant closed. Bar closed. Very disappointed..Picked the hotel partly for those reasons. Bed needed replacing. Interior needs remodel.

location was good and beds were comfortable. pool was filthy. the pool was our main reason for booking when we asked about it was told it would be cleaned but wasnt done til 3 days in. this was our reason for booking we didnt get to use it. requested room to be serviced 2 x and was never completed. 1st day room wasnt cleaned walked to the deskfor fresh towels was told to bring towels to the desk. walked back to the room and took dirty towels to desk to trade for clean towels was told to take them back to the room and housekeeping would pick them up. received new towels at desk and one bath towel had dark blackish spot that looked like poop.when i said something immediately the clerk was bothered that i didnt want to accept that towel. the next day when we requested service and didnt receive we brought the towels to the desk and were made to take them back to the room. was told service needed to be requesyed although we saw the girl write our room number down to be cleaned. also lacking security side doors says u need a key to get in but in reality u just open the door with no key. we ended up checking out a day early because it was so bad was told we would be refunded for last night and a small discount but either have yet to be received. do not recommend stay far away there are many hotels in that area do yourself a favor book elsewhere .

I should have read the reviews! The worst thing about my stay was the smell and then i took a clorox wipe to the nightstand and it was literally black with my hand print on the wipe . Thats bad ! All the surfaces were the same.The best thing was the shower which was ablessing after staying here.Sorry Ramada we wont be staying again.

The room was nasty, it had mold growing on the bathroom walls and ceiling and the cabinet in the bathroom. The carpet looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed ever and it had big black spots on it. The heat and air unit looked like it had seen better days and like it had mold growing inside it. I will definitely not use that hotel ever again nor will I recommend it to anyone else. Worst experience I’ve ever had!

Worst hotel experience ever. The pictures online must be when first opened. We got there and checked in, didn't have a good gut feeling about this place. We got to our room and the bathtub looked dirty, toilet paper roll broken l, only 2 towels available. Saw a roach crawling on the ceiling on the bathroom. Carpets were nasty and smelled of mildew. Saw another roach crawling in the main room corner. Tiny little gnat bugs flying in and out of the drain in the bathroom sink. Ir didn't seem safe around the area at ALL. With two small children we couldn't imagine staying let alone sleeping. Only giving one star because they gave us a refund after having to go through Hotels.com to get back as a manager was only on duty after 10pm.

Our room (150) was absolutely filthy. I had to cover the chair before I even let my dog sit on it. I had to sleep on top if the comforter it was gross. Didn’t want to take any chances. A/C wasn’t working and the entire ambiance was one of a seedy motel used for hourly services. We booked 3 nights. Left after one. Take this place off of your list.

I checked in on a Sunday afternoon and initially everything was fine. My room, 140, had the minimum expected requirements. A bed, AC/Heat/bathroom with shower, sink, running water, etc. The problem was the following morning. When I went to take a shower, the water wasn't hot coming out of the faucet and I let it run for at least 5 minutes before resigning myself to a cold shower. But, there wasn't enough water pressure to force water through the shower head, So I decided to wait about 10 minutes and try again. This time the water was just above lukewarm and I had enough pressure to get a shower. However, the water, quickly became lukewarm and then cold. I got my shower in, but it was not a pleasant experience and given that I paid for the room was not something I should've had to go through.

Front desk was efficient and friendly. Our room's lock was busted so we had to get another one, but that didn't take long to sort out. The area around the property kinda smelled, but was fine in the room. Ice machine broken on our floor, but that sort of thing happens. The place suited our needs. Not the Taj Mahal, but that's not what we expected.

Usually I stay here a lot. The second time I've stayed there recently and once again the AC did not work in my room , keys did not work. Anytime you had to get into your room you had to call main so they could come in and break into your door to let you into your room

There were no room keys for any rooms , we had to be let in via screw driver as well as all other rooms. We had to switch rooms multiple times due to power outage in room and backed up toilet. There was stains on the bedding , we were told there were no replacement sheets or bedding available. We couldn’t attend the comedy show due to the fact we felt unsafe to leave anything in the room unattended. In fact while standing outside at car , someone walked in our room and shut the door with our belongings inside.

So I had an issue that resulted my room being booked for the next business day. However, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and switching my reservations so I could stay that night. I was very tired from traveling all day. Her kind spirit and customer service was amazing. Thank you! I have somewhere to stay when I come back to Jacksonville.

We booked this hotel thinking it would be decent thinking it was a convention center, but when we arrived we were shocked with how uncomfortable we felt staying there, the staff was getting drunk in the lobby throwing a party and was being incredibly rude. We had a family member staying two rooms over and they got locked out of their room and even management was able to open the door so they could get their belongings! The staff had to open the door with a crowbar! The staff after being drunk and incredibly rude gave a really hard time about getting a refund for our stay when we didn’t even stay there! The general manager Tracy wrote on the receipt “try me again” saying it was her initials! We will never be staying at this hotel again!

Absolutely horrible. Key and computer system so old the clerk could not program a key for the room I reserved. We set off on a 45 minutes long tour of the place while she tried key after key in room after room. Once she finally did get one to open she couldn't give me my own key to the place. Room was a biological disaster. Stains. No smoke detector. We ran away and now await Expedia to get me a refund. will also be calling Jacksonville fire department to report the fire trap.

Upon arrival we were given keys to our room. When we get to the room the key does not work. We go to front desk for help. They send a maintenance guy to let us in. Door card reader still not working so he opens the door with 2 screw drivers. We have to leave to go to store after hours of waiting for maintenance guy to return and reprogram the door. When we cine back the door still hadnt been fixed. We see the front desk for someone to help us. Desk clerk says its going to be a long wait for us to be let back in. We tell her our belongings are locked in the room and the maintenance guy never came back to fix the door. She tells us again its going to be a long wait and goes back to doing something else. We had to eat at the hotel because we couldn’t leave in case the maintenance guy decided to open our door while we werent there. Dinner was okay but definitely not worth $110, especially since we couldn’t leave and choose where we wanted to eat. We almost missed the maintenance guy, they didnt call or let us know when he became available. We sat where we could see our room door from the dinning room. As we were returning to our room we pass the maintenance man whom didnt want to turn around and be bothered with helping unlock our door. We sat everything of ours in the car. We had tickets to the late comedy show. After the show around 1130 we returned to our room which still had not been fixed. The lobby was full and the front desk still was no help. We went home, whats the point

Cleaning staff went above and beyond to track me down and give me an item that I almost left behind. The breakfast attendant was more than attentive to our needs. The receptionists were also wonderful and helpful. Very great experience!

Check in was a horrible experience. It took 55 minutes to check in. 55 minutes to get a key. That's horrible service. Also checking out there was no customer service either, although I did not have to wait 55 minutes to check out.

Our manager was great and helpful, but we showed up to no rooms available and no key cards working. It took about an hour to troubleshoot everything before we had to go find another place to stay. The upside was that Morgan the manager did everything she could do and stayed very patient. Her calmness helped the situation stay smooth even though it was a real upset for all of us.

Obviously a busy place but its normal wear-and-tear shows a little too much for my taste. Nothing wrong or bad, but it does need a significant refresh. The comedy club looks great and is very popular, so be aware on show nights, the place is very busy. However, the crowd was cool and respectful and the place is relatively quiet.

Good working class level hotel with a very good hot breakfast buffet. No fold over cheese omlet crap here. Freshly cooked eggs and more. The room's AC was noisy, but I worked through it. The fitness center was solid and the place was clean throughout. this was my third stay here. I'll come back.

This was a nice hotel a bit past its prime but cleanliness was an issue with the shower and carpets. The shower had pubic hair on the rim of the shower base and there were large mystery stains on the carpets. There was white powder on the floor next to the headboard with a dead cockroach on the carpet. This was a common issue on our trip with all the hotels. Other than that, the staff were great, the breakfast was awesome and they even gave us free admission to the comedy club in the lobby which was entertaining.

I don't usually write reviews.. I run a company in the UK auditing customer service so it's too much like work. The hotel is a little old and tired, but it's clean and has everything you need. What does need mention is the breakfast. I didnt have high expectations, but the food was excellent... It was fresh, tasty and well presented. What really impressed me was the lady running the restaurant. She was welcoming, friendly, helpful and kind. We saw her wiping tables that looked perfectly clean and constantly checking the food supply was topped up from the kitchen. She spoke to all guests checking they had everything they need and was a perfect host. Her pride in her job wasnt driven by a pay check or because "the boss" was watching, but because this was HER domain and she really cared for it. It shows that job satisfaction can be found in any job if you do it well. Even though she was doing a great job, if I ran Ramada I would take her out of there and put her in charge of staff training!

One downfall was the issue of being short staffed at check-in. The woman behind the counter was friendly and professional, but had everyone taken care of as quickly as possible. Another was they didn't have a list of local places to eat in the room, but they had a great hot breakfast buffet. Overall it was a nice stay.

It was great that they had breakfast, but I'd honestly skip it the next time. Sausage was so old looking it looked like some sort of vegan dried up patty, eggs were cold, the coffee smelled so burnt I didn't even put milk or sugar in and threw it away. The tiny cups for water had me go back about 7 times. I was parched. It was a buffet with an "overseer" at best, no table service. Nice that it was there but I had a peice of toast with water and moved on.....
