Los Picos Hotel & Suites Bucerias

This is a nice place to stay. It's clean and quiet. There are three pools and a nice restaurant. Infinity pool by the beach and the restaurant was my favorite. The staff here provided excellent service.

Staff were helpful, room was neat and clean, pools are great, however of the three there one should be an adults only pool.

Everything was great! Clean, comfortable and has great pools, loungers, and palapas oceanside. Would definitely recommend to new or seasoned travellers.

The pool had a water slide and was open from 10am to 10pm!

No hot water. None! Maid service forgot items for room everyday (6). No replenishment of towels, coffee, wash clothes and linen. All taken care of eventually but alittle dissappointing. Great staff with quick response to issues. NO usable beach. Don't believe the onlone pictures. Completely covered in rocks. Walked 1 mile south to find any sandy beach. With that said, we would go back. Beatiful Hotel with great restaurant overlooking "beach". Had very good food. Three beautiful pools and our room was large and very nice with large private patio. Also, very affordable.

Slide is nice for the kids but the pool wasn't clean enough for me. I didn't get in.

We got a deluxe king ocean view room. It was nice with a big balcony and a comfy bed. The restaurant had good food and was affordable. There were three pools. The one on the beach was amazing. There was an oxxo and pharmacy connected to the hotel which was super convenient for drinks, sunscreen, etc. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the town center where the market is at. There were lots of retorts and shops along the way and it was very safe to walk.

We had a lot of fun here. One pool was closed, but the rest of the property was amazing.

Room was great, very vlean, well equipped and comfy. Staff was wonderful.

Room was clean

Las instalaciones son bonitas. El personal de recepción, durante los diferentes turnos, nos toco muy poco amable. En el baño, ni cambiaron toallas ni lo lavaron, así que el cancel permanecio todo salpicado de jabón.

Excellent clean rooms and amenities. Great price for the location and quality of the rooms and amenities.

very corteus staff, great views of the ocean, infinity pool, room not very clean, floor was’n recently cleaned. I was under the impression I paid for room with breakfast however they informed me they don’t include any meals.

We enjoyed our 21 nights in the new building on the 4th floor. The ocean view was awesome from the balcony. The balcony had a nice patio set and large drying rack for clothes. Room was a good size with comfortable beds and pillows. Enjoyed the pools—three to choose from.

I should not complain, because the room was inexpensive, but will comment for future guests and the hotel management. The resort is mid-size and mid-level. It also has several levels within the complex. The room I had was a decent size, with a bed, and two bedside tables, and two lamps. AC and and TV on the wall. No chair, and no decoration whatsoever. Walls high and all white. Bathroom ok, but fan didn’t work, and toilet seat was broken. Bedding threadbare, and overall, not terribly clean, but not terrible. Worst thing was not really a window. Small thin, about 14 inches by 6 inches. Felt like a cell. Nice beach, and pool, and little restaurant and bar, some green space. Lots of families, and seemed good for kids. Water slide, but needs maintenance. Wouldn’t take much to significantly improve the hotel rooms. Most people in suites.

We wanted a place close to the beach with a pool, and Los Picos delivered that, with two nice pools and good beach front access. The property is at the quieter north end of Bucerias, but is still an easy walk to the main squares with restaurants. We had a very small room with double bed and very little space for anything else. The suites with kitchens look much more spacious, but they are not reasonably priced, as we moved to a condo with full apartment and nicer facilities one block away for much less cost per night than suites at Los Picos. If the suites were more reasonable priced, we would consider staying again, as the overall experience was good, aside from noise and the very small room. Highway noise is an issue for the units at the back of the property where we were. Also, noise from other guests was an issue, two nights until past 2:00am, so there is no effort made to maintain quiet.

Poor insulation between rooms in the tower. Could hear every conversation, sneeze, etc. Otherwise, zero complaints.

Great location. Only complaint was being woken 3 days at 5am with neighbours tv/dance party cranked!!! Tv wall mounted directly behind where our bed was situated…& maybe the adjoining door right there as well, was part of the issue?! Looking forward to sleeping in past 5am tomorrow!

had a beautiful ocean view room on the 4rth floor which was a corner room and had a massive balcony! Room was very clean with modern renovations and a very comfortable king size bed. There was a fridge and a safe in the room and lots of room for storage of our things. There was clean purified ice water at reception to fill our water bottles and beach towels were provided every day. It was relatively easy to get chairs and a palapa most days. The on sight restaurant served good food with a lot of variety and the service and value for money was also very good. There are a few other restaurants nearby and lots more 10- 20 minutes walk away. Beach was really nice but did have patches of small rocks and it could get pretty small at high tides. Staff didn’t speak much English but I enjoyed being able to practice my Spanish. 3 pools on sight with one infinity pool overlooking the ocean which was really nice! The back two pools had lots of fun slides and other features for kids. Beach volleyball court on sight also looked fun. Oxxo and pharamacy on sight for picking up drinks, snacks or sunscreen. We really enjoyed our 9 day stay here and would definitely stay here again!

We booked two rooms. The "double" bed room was attached to someone else's kitchenette suite-not ideal. The restaurant was mediocre and staff always expected a tip. The more accessible suite had an elevator, but was still many steps away from the main lobby. It's a low budget option for families with lots of pools and slides.

les chambres sont grandes avec un balcon pour chacun. Les personnel est gentil. Le high way passe tout près. C'est donc assez bruillant en fin de soirée. La nuit c'est correct. Le matin assez bruyant. La vue sur mer permet de surveille baleine.

Habitación amplia con serví bar, cafetera y horno de microondas. Terraza . Vista al mar .

We stayed in the tower (torres) along side the main resort. The ocean balcony view room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed and good shower, all very new. Only issues was the noise from the hwy all night. We were able to move rooms for 1 of our 3 nights. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The whole resort is steps to the beach, restaurant was excellent. Pool very nice. We would stay again in a front ocean room (not as new). Away from hwy noise. Where we stayed for 1 night.

Muy lento para el registro, el hotel me pedía que pagara nuevamente y la habitación estaba pagada. No se ve personal de mantenimiento en el hotel, la mejor alberca estaba verde de sucia y no se pudo usar. Nos dieron habitaciones separadas aunque estuvo sola la contigua a la nuestra. En el restaurante el servicio muy lento. Considero que les falta personal. El hotel está muy lindo y sus habitaciones cómodas. La playa tiene muchas piedras al ingresar pero ya adentro si está muy bien para pasarla en grande. Dos oxxos y una farmacia enseguida de la propiedad. La ruta de autobuses muy accesible para conocer otros lugares por tan solo 12 pesos.

In 50 years of traveling to Mexico for vacations I have never experienced truly unfriendly service, until this trip. I don't know if the staff had just been penalized or reprimanded before we arrived, but it was quite noticeable that they were not happy. I'm sure it wasn't because of anything we did or said. The Hotel itself is not bad. The pool area is nice, and our room was clean and recently updated. Noise from the neighboring room was not a good thing, but generally the accommodations were OK. It is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it is a decent budget hotel. If it were run by a more pleasant staff I would consider staying there again. The restaurant was ok, the food was ok, but the service there was also indifferent. I'm not sure why the staff had such a dark cloud hanging over them, but I hope things clear up for them.

When we got there, one representative was rude. I asked if we could check in at 1pm vs. 3pm and said no rooms available, which is understandable. I asked if we could drop off our 3 backpacks and she said it was too much luggage. A few minutes later we saw a family was able to drop off their luggage. I asked a second representative and immediately she replied, "Of course." So, one rep was nice and one rude. The guests can only get one towel a day with limited hours to get and return towels. They write the guest name and room number along the towel number near the tag. When I went back to check in, the rude rep asked for my reservation name and.gave me my room and one key, but no WIFI or anything else. She was very rude still. I was under the impression that we had easy access to the beach, but they told me that I had beach view from the 5th floor. However, we had to cross a small street, a parking lot, and some more hotel rooms to access the beach. The infinity pool was dirty and too warm to the touch, it was uncomfortable. Another pool was a little cleaner. On the beach, it was uncomfortable to walk into the water due to the pebbles and rocks. It is only about a" 10 feet band of rocky terrain under the water. But it is all along that area. The good thing is that there is a small restaurant within walkig distance called Rinconcito Mexicano. The food there is really good. Freshly cooked as you order. There is also a convenient store.

Bad service... we stayed there for a week, 3 times I requested coffee/sugar as they do provide coffee maker. Not only they did not provide any, they did not even cleaned/replaced the mugs we used. We did finally get coffee grounds on our last day there.

The hotel is dated but in a perfect location, it actually is a gem, however, the horrific customer service is one reason I probably wouldn’t go back. No greeting the customers, no smiles, no helpful information, just terrible. It’s as if all the workers hate their job and it shows, which is too bad for the quaint hotel.

Staff was very kind and friendly the receptionist despite the language barrier she did her very best to help me and I appreciate that

This was a great place for the price. Very family friendly. The beach was very nice and the pools offered variety. The restaurant was nice to have and good enough. The complex is located at the very far end of Bucerias and if you don't have a car you are a bit stuck although taxis are available and affordable. Parking was secure & under cover a bonus in the heat for people in the tower. I was alone and as a female I didn't like coming home after 9pm but I am sure it was fine really.

Very quiet and relaxing hotel. The beach is near by and pretty secluded from the busy tiny town of bucerias. But very walkable area that does need to be cleaned a bit more. Rooms were very clean going in with the exception of sand on the floors. A mopping every cleanup day would be awesome. Will definitely be staying again when we visit Mexico. Also the staff and town speak a quite bit of English for the non Spanish speaking tourist.

Far from restaurants Not by the beach too noisy due to construction . Clean and spacious room. Good for the price .

This is truly a hidden gem! Its so beautiful and peaceful. They have 2 pools and direct access to the beach. The food at the restaurant 😋 was so good. I will definitely go back.
