Le Matignon - Design apartment facing Lake Annecy

Nice apartment, but need more kitchen supply, cleanliness and maintenance on the unit. Thank you.

Dirty, dusty, old, no privacy from scaffolding surrounding the entire unit. The apartment seemed vacated and unsafe. Construction dust would enter under door sills as they were sawing in the patio and spilling concrete. No one in our group could sleep as it was on going. I spent 4 hours trying to contact the owner after travelling 12 hours. Finally we got a hold of concierge du lac through VRBO and they denied there was an construction at all. I promptly sent photos and videos of ongoing construction toon just outside our windows. We left the next morning for a hotel in the center of town with a better location. I’m still waiting on the rest of my refund. They charged me 2 nights now instead of 1 claiming they have a 2 night stay minimum. This should be waived seeing as if I knew the condition of the rental, I would never have booked it. I agree to pay for one night, but not two. I feel they have forfeit their policy by knowingly and denying renting this unit out without any communication. Please escalate this issue to VRBO leadership as we are still expecting the rest of our refund. Thank you

Apartment is on first floor overlooking Lake Annecy and views from the balcony are breathtaking. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything you’d need. Bedrooms were of a good size and beds comfortable. 10 minute walk through lakeside park and you are in the town where there are many shops, bars and restaurants.
