5th stay in 9 months. Pool, but only outside, no inside pool. Service excellent in all areas. Too much fried and fatty foods. Way too large slices of desert, could be half that size and still plenty. Convenient to Regan National. Very friendly and responsive staff. Pool area was a bit dirty and had seen better day. Avoid the valet parking. Took forever to get your car and there is a cheaper self park alternative next door.

I really enjoyed the hotel itself but they have a very small valet parking availability (so it was full) and parking is difficult and challenging for those with limited mobility (two flights of stairs from public parking garage that is around the corner). Airport shuttle for in transit folks was perfect though.

Buffet breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Drinks by Deborah were made with love. All the staff i encounter were very friendly and courteous. My biggest issue was hair in shower, on shower curtain and on the floor that clearly wasn't mine.

I have never had an issue staying at any Hyatt hotel before and usually do enjoy my stay. The staff was nice and room service came everyday but the room was small, dated (old) and dirty. Stains on curtains and carpets, and towels. Beds didn't have fitted sheets and were very uncomfortable and lopsided along with the very low loft pillows that felt like I was laying on nothing. Very small bathroom and room. Shower was awful. The water nozzle barely sprayed any water and is not removable. The lighting was terrible, too much light at night from the mirror in the bathroom that once shut off, turns into a bright blue night light that surrounds the entire mirror. It never shuts off no matter what. The bathroom door is glass and unlockable (no privacy) so the light would shine right through illuminating the entire room at night. Along with the light coming from the noisy hallway through 1/4'' crack in the door seam. Crystal city was very desolate, not a whole lot to do. Your surrounded by huge buildings being built by cranes (The only view) and are kind of limited to the hotel food, which was pricey but pretty good, except for the market across the street which I would stay away from. Valet parking ($45 a night) was good although they charged me twice. I would definitely stay elsewhere.

This is an excellent hotel. Very clean, well-maintained, excellent staff and service. Great food and coffee from the Lobbibar. We stayed in a King bed room on the 7th floor. Was super quiet except for hearing neighbors toilets flushing (industrial toilets). Walkable to the metro station. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very small coming in the doorway was very small, the restroom small toilet is very low to the floor, popcorn ceilings. This hotel needs to be updated. Remove the carpet it makes the room smell as soon as you open the door you can smell old carpet.

The hotel was clean, and the room was spacious. However, the bathroom lacked a counter to place our toothbrushes and other personal items—it only had a cabinet in front of the sink. Unfortunately, my experience in the first-floor dining area was terrible. The server was extremely rude. I was traveling with my son, and due to a flight cancellation, we stayed for one night. The server didn’t bring us plates or cutlery, never checked in to see if we were okay, forgot our second order, and did not follow instructions for the first order. When I stood up to speak with a manager, the server noticed I was upset and, in a very rude tone, asked, “What do you want?!” Thankfully, the manager was kind and apologized for the server’s behavior.

We were trying to watch a "on demand" movie on a raining night, didn\'t realize it was going to be such a hassle. The TV says “call the front desk”, we did and they sent up a person to the room that said call the front desk “I can’t help you”. We did that again and they transferred us to tech support who transferred us back to the front desk. They transferred us back to tech support again and then transferred us again to someone else asked why are we calling them. We just said it wasn\'t worth the effort to deal with such incompetent people who don\'t know what to do, especially for a high end hotel. We would have had better service at a Marriott or red roof inn lol never again. The only nice person we interacted with was Allen at the front desk all others were like uncaring .. what is annoying more than anything is the front desk should have made all the calls for us. Got our room number explain the problem to tech support and follow up with us. Don’t worry Mr G. We will Get right on that for you. That’s how to handle something like that. Won’t be staying there again .

It started with the check in. Poor service. Then when we got to the room we could not lower the temp even as we lowered the thermostat to 60. It stayed 75 degrees. Only one wash cloth and one hand towel. In the morning I addressed this with the front desk. They stated they would have maintenance look at the thermostat and have housekeeping bring more towels. Upon our return 8 hours later, nothing was done. Late that night after we left for dinner did they bring towels only after I made another request. The valet parking is a nightmare as well. No organization with it at all. I do not see us staying at another Hyatt

You need to have more than 1 person working at your front desk. The young lady working in the evening and the gift shop needs to improve her social and communication skills. She needs to understand that customers are not an inconvenience and she needs to stop playing on her phone while she's on duty.

The hotel was very clean. Dealing with front desk Lyric was a breeze. She was very courteous and helpful, accommodating my 2 room reservation. The breakfast was exceptional!!! No self parking just valet parking available. Only 6-7 minute drive from DC, great location.

Beautiful property. Conveniently located near Reagan airport. Booked an extended stay for my first trip to DC. The hotel boasts two restaurants: breakfast and dinner. Free breakfast was above average and a nice extra perk. Definitely worth the additional fee. Servers were inconsistent with their attentiveness and customer service during free breakfast, despite the low number of customers. Seemed a bit like they didn’t care (ex. Wouldn’t refill drinks) and were quick to give you the bill before you finished eating. Only ate dinner once at the restaurant. Seemed a bit overpriced and was average at best. The shuttle was often not being used but when asked, was told that it was “unavailable”. Several workers would be outside around the valet and door, but wouldn’t open the doors or ask if you needed shuttle service. Thankfully, Uber is relatively cheap to get to and from DC tourist attractions (around $10 each way) and they are responsive. Housekeeping was inconsistent, I had to contact them several times to refresh the room. Overall, a good choice for a short stay if you aren’t looking for a high level of customer service and hospitality. Wouldn’t recommend for a stay longer than 3 days.

Facility is super nice and front desk staff and management are tops. However, restaurants were way too limited. After 10pm could only order at downstairs bar and the hamburger was terrible. Also was surprised that there is no room service. Perhaps most disturbing was that there is absolutely no parking at the hotel and absolutely no place to park nearby. Therefore you must accept valet parking at $45 per day.

By far the best hotel I have stayed at. The hotel was in a great area, was very clean and the staff was nice and helpful. I love the dining options and loved the hotel store had a variety of things to choose from, including childrens medicine (which is important for me traveling with young children). Will definitely stay at this Hyatt in the future.

Michelle at the bar was amazing. Virginia at the front desk was attentive as well during check out. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. I’d definitely stay again. - Things to look at : 1. Pool area was not swept 2. One of the male restaurant workers used profanity in front of me, which was very unprofessional and an off putting. Tall guy with long hair. All workers should be professional at all times no matter who is around.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful! My husband has limited mobility and the staff especially our front always rushed to assist him! When we requested extra towels or help in our room the staff was very helpful and friendly also! We enjoyed the specials for Happy Hour too! We were attending a reunion for a former group and staff were most helpful setting up for it and providing whatever was needed! We were there eight nights so we saw the service over a period of time!

Better than many other hotels, but also worse than many other. It's fine for a 1-2 day business trip. But don't rely on their business center for things like printing. The computers wouldn't even turn on when I visited. Plus, there are no chairs in the so-called "business center"; you stand. The whole thing is designed to discourage a user.
