We really liked the hotel's location! However, this time there were a few things that could have been better. The pub closed quite early on Friday evening, so we didn't have the opportunity to visit it after our hike. In addition, the staff at breakfast were not very welcoming, which affected our overall experience. Despite these issues, we would definitely stay here again because we really enjoyed our overall experience.

The hotel is lovely and in an ideal location. Our room was not as comfortable as I would have liked. There were some maintenance issues that never got addressed despite several requests.

The popularity of the Isle of Skye has resulted in inflated prices for accommodations. This hotel is really an oversized B&B, but merits no more than 3.5 stars as a hotel. At check-in no offer of help was made to carry luggage up the threadworn stairs to the room. At dinner, an extra place setting was left on the table throughout the meal. The bar/pub was authentic and more appropriate for an establishment of this size.
