Property is somewhat run down, old carpeting, old decor. Rooms are quiet and dark to sleep. Parking is very expensive but the hotel location is wonderful. Everything is in walking distance. Transportation, restaurants, shops everything is very close by. Very happy with the location, downstair restaurant and hotel staff. Would stay here again.

The hotel rooms where much larger than I expected. The shower and toilette was separated by closed doors, which was nice. The windows looking out to the city were wide and have wonderful view of the square. The elevator is extremely old and small like a closet. Of course, they put me on the top floor. There was no in room refrigerator. It is an older hotel and has what looks like original carpet and decor. The dinner and lunch was typical and good at the restaurant attached to hotel. The trolley station was less than 1 min away.

Super centralt hotel med adgang til hele Bordeaux hvadenten det er til fods, med sporvogn, bus eller taxa. Turen fra lufthavnen tager blot 50 minutter med sporvogn, og til under 15 kr. Værelset er ikke prangende, men sengen er god og der er varmt vand i hanen. Morgenmad er tilgængelig på stedet, med udendørsstemning. Ikke noget særligt, men der er både kaffe/te, mælkeprodukter havregryn og croissant. Om eftermiddagen kan der nydes kolde øl og drinks, hvilket er super hyggeligt. Imødekommende personale i receptionen og tildels i baren/morgenmadsrestaurenten.

Hôtel aux tapis plissés, tachés..... toiles d'araignée non récente dans l'angle de la chambre..... le personnel est venu avec un parapluie pour traquer l'araignée..... Plus tard le lendemain quelqu'un est venu avec un aspirateur. Quelque soit l'état de cet hôtel le rendement financier sera au rendez vous étant donné son emplacement. Inadmissible de louer dans cet état pourtant.

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum von Bordeaux und ist somit ideal, um all die touristischen Hotspots zu besuchen. Ein einfaches Hotel, aber wir waren zufrieden damit und würden wieder hingehen. Trotz sehr belebter Strasse, war der Lärm dank den doppelten Fenstern kein Problem. Die Teppiche sind sehr abgenutzt und sehen nicht besonders einladend aus. Ein Ersatz könnte nicht schaden.

Unfortunately there was mold all over the carpet. There was also water leaking from the floor. The smell in the room was unbearable. We complained about the state of the room and the staff reacted as if they didn’t know about this problem. I later discovered that there were already several complaints about mold and a very dirty overall state of the hotel on the internet. To knowingly sell rooms in this kind of state is a total embarrassment. Definitely avoid this hotel and the neighboring hotel d’opera which apparently is of the same owner and seems to have similar issues

Excellent location, William gave me some great tips on where to go nearby. Hotel is opposite the Opera House (or something like that) and the pedestrian shopping area. Rooms are small and warm but great value for a cheeky weekend or overnight, easy access to airport tram. Will return.

It’s an older hotel but for the price, location, and customer service, it was definitely worth it. Other reviews mention old carpets and it needing renovations, sure, but when in Bordeaux, you’re probably spending your days walking around the beautiful town. We had a room facing the town square, if you will, it had doubled windows so noise wasn’t an issue and it’s a hotel dating back ton1800’s. Super close to trams especially if coming from the airport.

This is the most central location I have ever stayed in. So easy to pop back into the hotel during the day to drop off shopping, use the restroom, or just take a nap. Only steps from the tram line that comes in from the Bordeaux train station, the intercontinental hotel, Opera House and shopping streets.
