The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. However, the food was poor quality and i had items of jewlery taken from my room by the cleaning staff. The pool areas were nice and kept clean.

We wanted an all inclusive hotel for our holiday as we had younger children and wanted them to be able to try a variety of different foods. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The water park is small but doesn’t open until 10, so there’s no issue around sunbed hogging. The hotel has two pools. A large rectangular one at the front, with around ten beds, and another at the back with an island and snack bar. This one is where all the daytime entertainment is. Consequently, this area is loud and hectic throughout the day. So we spent our time between the water park and the quiet pool at the front. Much more peaceful, but no nearby access to snacks/drinks, so you do have to go back to the noisier pool for this. Food was good and varied each day, although it could be very busy at times. However, we had a wonderful time here. My only real criticism is the checking out procedure. You have to check out at 11 and at this point they cut off your wristbands and tell you that access to the all inclusive food/drink is off. I have not come across this before and feel it was very mean-spirited, given that nobody really gets a full 1st day anyway, and it would only be until we were collected to go to the airport, and that everyone there has paid a not-insignificant amount of money to be there in the first place. Other than that, it is a lovely little hotel in a lovely part of the world.

Food was ok, nothing special. Pools were nice but would have been great with older children. Pool water was clean and warm. Not enough sun beds. Room needed to be updated and the bed was horribly hard and hurt to sleep in. Pillows were comfortable, room was spacious and air conditioning worked well! Small fridge in the room was nice. We had a bath tub and when we emptied it after using it, it spilled smelly water from the floor drain and there was no way to clean it by ourselves. Biggest problem was the understaffing. There was usually only one person catering the pool bar and lobby bar which meant very long waiting times. In the restaurant there were also too few people and they were working really hard but oftentimes utensils and glasses were out. Also there were very few options on drinks included in the all inclusive, for example only three different cocktails. The sodas were some knockout brands and were usually off with having too much or too little syrup or no bubbles.

I stayed in a first floor room that overlooked the pool. The room was more than adequate for a solo traveller but would have been seriously lacking in wardrobe space for more than 1 person. Be sure to bring your own hangers as I was fortunate and did. There were 4 hangers in the wardrobe. There’s a tv but no English speaking stations. Kettles are not automatically provided in the room but can be obtained from reception for a small deposit. The beds were so comfortable. It’s rare to find memory foam mattresses in a hotel room. The maid was very efficient and called every day. There was a big dining room that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was more or less the same every night. I need gluten free food and it was a nightmare each mealtime to find someone to explain to me what was safe to eat. There is also a poolside snack bar that serves food for most of the day and dispenses one scoop of ice cream per person between the hours of 2 and 5pm. They are also really strict on the drinks. They won’t fill your own water bottle but you can ask for 3 paper cups of water and the decant them into your bottle. It just seemed really petty. Unless you were up by 7.45am at the latest you stood no chance of getting a sunbed. I dread to think what this will be like at peak season when the hotel is at full occupancy. There is an onsite car hire company. They are very cheap and a great way to see the island.
