Property is part way down the caldera with probably ~4 flights of stairs. Beautiful views, quiet and well cared for property. Lots of sun loungers to enjoy the caldera views! The layout of the bathroom is the only annoyance. Seems minor but you can’t fully open/close the bathroom door without standing in the shower. Also there’s no shower door so water splashing is an issue. Again, relatively minor but something to consider for the price.

Pros - we had honeymoon suite so the views and privacy were incredible. The ac was a bit lacking in the master though. It worked well in the living area and where the sofa bed was. The porters were super helpful and necessary. Cons - there are many in light of all the properties avail in Santorini. It was 170 steps up to leave our room (over 10 flights every time.) I’m in shape but it was exhausting. Service at pool was worst I’ve ever encountered. They were constantly out of things (vodka, beers…). Then time was taken to clean for over 45 mins when people were wanting drinks . Towels / empties were not removed timely. This was our 4th spot in our Greece travels and the staff friendliness was lacking compared to Athens, Naxos and Milos.

Wonderful property in a beautiful area of Santorini with spectacular sunset views of the caldera. The staff were particularly helpful and kind when checking in and answering queries. The room was spacious and clean with a great veranda to sit out on. There are a rather lot of stairs to get down to the hotel from the main trail but don’t be put off, if you’re able bodied, it’s worth it! The only thing I can think of to improve would be an on sight bar / restaurant which is open for evening meals, however lunch by the pool was 5*. Would 100% return.

One of the most beautiful places in Santorini. Lots of stairs, but that’s to be expected in Santorini. Gianni’s (bartender), was amazing and made our days around the pool. Views were amazing and we couldn’t have asked for our stay to be any better.

Agali houses was a beautiful property and the staff was great! We had a stunning view of the ocean. Two things to note about the location; there was an extreme amount of stairs to get to the hotel and then depending on your room there may be more stairs. You also can’t flush toilet paper down the toilet due to the plumbing system on the island! On the last day we did notice a lot of ants but I am assuming this was due to the location because the hotel was very clean. Overall if you can manage the stairs I highly recommend. The food was good and the pool was very relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay. We felt so welcomed since the moment we arrived. The lady in the front desk even gave us a great restaurant recommendation. The hotel was very clean and had amazing views. We also enjoyed the food options they had to offer. Would totally recommend for those who want a nice and peaceful stay in Santorini. Since it has so many great qualities to offer.

Agali Houses is a wonderful little hotel, clean and comfortable, and meticulously maintained. (How do they keep all those white surfaces so clean???) The staff was wonderful, and the breakfasts excellent. The views are incredible, as it\'s further down the edge of the caldera than the other places, so you have a "front row seat" to view the amazing Aegeon sunsets. However there are a lot of stairs to descend and ascend from road, so you need to be reasonably fit. (Don\'t worry, they have someone to carry your luggage up and down.) Once you get back up top, there are a lot of restaurants and souvenir stores along a nice walking path. Just a fabulous place, and highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Agali Houses. The staff were very nice and helpful, our room was clean and well kept every day. Only complaint of the room was the shower, might be time for an upgrade. The views are unbeatable and we had a great time at the public pool. The bartender was great! Agali Houses is super close to many great restaurants and very close to the main square to get taxi/shuttle pick ups.

Great accomodation - beautiful property that overlooks the caldera. We loved the balcony in our hotel. Property was clean and well kept. As like any Santorini accomodation you have to walk up and down some stairs. Highly recommend.

Excellent views and nice rooms but be aware that some rooms only had aircon in living room so bedroom was too hot! Also the water pressure for shower is very low and we could not shower 3 persons after each other. We got upgraded to room with own pool after several issues with first room. That was definitely a much better experience! Staff were extremely nice!! There are MANY stairs so not for poor walking people. 15 min walk to Fira. Lots of restaurants nearby. Location is superb

Mill Suite is even nicer than depicted in pictures…2 beautiful balconies overlooking the Caldera. Very private, located at the very end of the property…no neighbors. Bathroom is modern, efficient. Beds are comfortable. Couch can easily be convertible to single bed. Property conveniently located between Fira and Imerovigli. Friendly and helpful staff.

An incredible property with one of the best hosts!! We had such an enjoyable experience and absolutely loved our modern and clean 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite with an enormous private balcony overlooking the caldera. Absolutely incredible views and this location was perfect! Cute shops/restaurants right nearby and then Fira is just a lovely 10 minute walk along the ridge away. Highly recommend this incredible hotel in Santorini!!

There are many steep steps to get to the property. I also had an unfortunate issue with checking where the form was completed with errors. The breakfast was not great and not worth the price (18 euros/pp). The views are amazing as was the pool

The staff was very kind, especially Demitris at the front desk. We appreciated our private hot tub at our specific room and thought our hotel room/patio was very private, considering other hotels around us. The hotel is located just far enough away from the busy night life and was very quiet area. We really appreciated the airport shuttle at our arrival and the shuttle to the Port at our departure (additional cost but was worth it). We were certainly surprised that the hotel had a guy carry our luggage from the upper area down to the reception, and even into our hotel room. When we departed, even carried the luggage up the stairs to the shuttle again, cannot have thanked the hotel for doing this enough. There is a bus stop very close that we also took advantage of and appreciated. They were some excellent restaurants in the nearby area. The only thing people should consider is, there are a lot of stairs to get to this hotel. Absolutely incredible view.

This is a fantastic hotel. The beautiful pictures do not lie - the view is impressive. We had first row to the famous sunset in Santorini - all from our balcony. The hotel is located in a perfect location—a short walk from the centre of Fia.

I enjoyed this hotel, and the views were exceptional. The rooms were clean and airy, but the AC was a little far from the bedroom as we like a cool sleep. The pool area is very nice, and the hotel location is great. I would not however recommend this hotel to anybody elderly or unfit. There were almost 200 steps from our room (the lowest in the hotel) to the street. But if you are fit the views are worth it. Hats off to the porter who carried the luggage all the way down and more importantly back up. 3 bags, 100lbs all at once!!!!

Property is very nice. Excellent location, quiet and peaceful. Only issue is that it’s on a hill and there are no elevators. Need to climb quite a number of steps to reach hotel. If traveling with seniors or people with disabilities, not recommended. Other then that it was a wonderful experience.

A beautiful resort with an incredible view. The hotel is in a great location with many restaurants and shops close by. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The onsite breakfast was very good with many options and great service. The only negative were the 138 steps to our room. This was not really an issue for us, but not a great location for those with disabilities or medical conditions. I would definately stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Agali Houses !! Everything in this hotel works perfectly !! From the moment we arrived we felt really welcomed. The room was fantastic, breakfast is great with many options and with the view of the volcano makes it unforgettable !! The jacuzzi in the terrace was a great place to see the sunset. The pool area is also great and the service from John was amazing !! The Dakos salad in the pool is the best one we’ve tried in this 3 week trip to Greece !! Thank you for a perfect stay in Santorini !!

We loved it here! Excellent location and better sunset views here than in oia. We loved the pool too. Each room is different. Easy to get a taxi. Excellent restaurants nearby. The food and drink by the pool are expensive and breakfast was not worth the cost.
