The staff and the hotel made for an amazing experience, especially for our first wedding anniversary — we couldn't have asked for better. The staff were kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay priceless. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality experience near the Rio Douro.

From start to finish, an utterly fabulous stay! The hotel is beautiful, with fabulous decor and amenities. The staff were all wonderful, friendly, helpful and so, so attentive. This is a thoroughly superb hotel, in a terrific location. The food and drinks were incredible. As a very seasoned traveller, I’ve rarely stayed anywhere I’ve enjoyed as much as this.

We arrived by Bolt and were recieved at the hotel by a staff member who helped carry our bags to check in and offered us port while we checked in. The process was extremely smooth and they even upgraded our room. We had a beautiful space that was perfectly laid out and even featured a tub facing the river which truly may have been the best view of our stay! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were given many free snacks in the room and I was even given a free Americano after using the beautiful gym. The pool was gorgeous and the perfect temperature not too warm but even with the weather in the high 70s ~19C it was so relaxing. The location was prime with easy access to the bridge bringing us to the more active area of Porto proper. Would absolutely recommend and I am so appreciative for them providing such an incredible stay. 💖
