Baymont by Wyndham O'Fallon St. Louis Area

The staff was fine and the rooms were nice, but there were significant maintenance issues. Couldn't get in to one room because of lock malfunction. Another had a non-functioning shower door. One TV didn't work. For two rooms in one night, that's a lot.

The rooms were not well taken care of or that clean. The breakfast room did not have a working juice dispenser and the waffle and syrup dispensers were not working properly either. We chose the hotel based on its location, but next time we may decide to drive a little further to find a place that has some of the basic amenities in order.

Not withstanding the fact that they are doing construction and renovating the inn, our room's window would not shut and our door would not stay closed unless you gave it a whack to release the mechanism. The breakfast we ok at best. The variety was lacking and it was not replenished. The room appeared clean and did not hae any issues in this area.

Lobby bathroom was unusable

The room was damaged with blood in a lamp shade. Hotel showed a pool but there was none. The breakfast food waffle mixed was watered down, limited items. 1 small bar of soap and one small shampoo, and no bath tub.

Property is under construction and should be closed.

The rms smelled like weed. They had replaced the bed and handles on the door but never fix the existing walls that were now exposed. Half of the breakfast items were refilled. The front desk service was nonexistent. The ice machine was out of order and no signs of being repaired. The bathroom light in rm didn’t not work.

The public bathroom was very dirty. Broken locks on public bathroom and bedroom. Other than that it was ok. Over all give it a 3.0

It was a rainy day - I was given a room that had a window that was leaking. There was substantial water on the window sill, when I reported it I was told that no other rooms were available and she pulled down the shade so I could not see the water. It continued to rain and the water was dripping down onto the ac unit so I used one of the towels to cover the window sill. That was just one problem during my stay!

This property does not advertise that breakfast is unavailable, and there is a $100 deposit (refundable). They don’t have clean towels, the WiFi does not work and they double charged us.

This was a bizarre hotel. I thought Wyndham cared a little more. This hotel was very dirty, mismatched, and just... well... odd. Old couch in the room, instead of being replaced, they just covered PART of it with random fabric. The floor was dirty, the drains smelled awful, even the welcome mat in the lobby appears to not have been changed in a year. There was a hole in the bathroom door (I can only assume) and it had been covered instead of replacing the door. Their "sundries shop" literally had 3 bags of chips. That's it. Just odd...

This hotel was dirty. The shower was falling apart and in the deep cracks mold was growing up and over the shower. The carpet was ripped up in a few spots. The carpet was wet in several spots near the walls/ bed so you can’t wear just socks because they get wet(gross) the beds are uncomfortable as heck. For $70 a night I feel like you can buy some proper cleaning supplies at the very least. I ended up cleaning before we could even bring out stuff in because it was gross to me but it was late & we needed to put the kids to bed. I think we left the property cleaner when we left then when we got there. Even with two toddlers under 3. 2/10

I would never stay at this hotel and would never suggest it to anyone. Like they say, you can't judge a book by it's cover. To look at it from outside, you would think it was going to be nice. The elevator was nasty, and when we got to our room, it was infested with ants. We let the front desk clerk know, and they moved us to another room, to only find out it was infested with ants and cockroaches. I don't think I need to say anymore. Disgusting and gross is how I'll put it!! The only good thing about it, is I got my money back!!

Black mold in the shower, toenails on the floor, stains on the bedding. Had to end up leaving because we weren't willing to stay in those conditions

Room was disgusting!!! Couch had stains on it. Carpet was pulling away from the floor. Bathroom was gross, dirty, moldy, looked like no one had cleaned in a long time. Photos online do NOT represent what the rooms look like.

The front carpets were really filthy. My room was not too clean. There was sticky floor etc. Not too satisfied with the stay.

The bathroom and shower were dirty. Mouse droppings were found in the bed with crumbs. No initial toilet paper, tissues, minimal towels and pillows. The pillows that we had to got smelled like they were sat on and farted on. They turned the phones off so nobody could hear them ring. When the Expedia rep called they couldn’t get through to cancel the next night. This place is a joke do not stay here pay a little bit more and stay somewhere else.

This place is so dirty and has roaches

We checked in went to our room. I always pull back the blankets before I do anything and there was a blood stain on the comforter before I even pulled it back and a piss stain on the sheet when I dos pull it back. They showed me 5 more rooms before we decided enough was enough. Receptionist was nice and tried to accommodate but Every one of them had either stains on the sheets and pillow cases. One had hair still on the uncleaned sheets just the bed was made. I would not even rent a room here for my dogs. I better get my money back!!!

Are room was dirty we ask them to clean it we left came back and it was still dirty... Outside was dirty as well trash all over...breakfast trash was running over .. Had to ask for coffee...we will not be staying here again.... Staff was friendly... check in was fast..

I do not recommend the Baymont in O’Fallon. The staff was friendly, however, our room was cleanish. There were stains all over the couch and comforter. There was also a burn hole in the comforter. The king bed sloped to the middle. I barely slept as it was very uncomfortable. I found hair on the bathroom floor and the hotel has cockroaches. I killed one in the bathroom, and saw one on the middle of the lobby floor. I can not speak about the breakfast as I wouldn’t not eat it after finding cockroaches. When I showered, I noticed chunks of mold or a buildup of some kind coming out of the “sealed” area between the floor of the shower and the wall. The metal ring around the water line running from the toilet to the wall was detached from the wall so you could see into the wall. The towels were also stained. Please save yourself some grief and stay somewhere else.

It was an ok stay,breakfast wasntcall that great the pricing wasnt to bad,fridge ran and dripped all night,bed was comfortable...price wasnt to bad,overall it was a decent hotel

The fridge and TV didn't work.

Beds were very uncomfortable, very hard. Had old furniture in parking lot, Bathroom had dirt in corners. Hair on counter

The man at the front desk, when checking in, told me I had to put a card on file, for incidentals however when checking out, said they had run my card and the money would be back on my card in 10 days. Never did he say that they were pulling money out for that card. Most hotels run the card after the fact if something happens. When questioned about it, he was rude and didn’t really care. Never will I go back there again.

Rooms were not cleaned to my standards. Staff was polite and did change my room.

Lacking of customer service

The staff was very nice. Everyone was professional and the room was very clean and comfortable.

This place is gross. Dirty, old, not upgraded at all. Breakfast was disgusting, watery eggs, no milk even though they had cereal as an option. Bed had a big dip in the middle and was extremely uncomfortable. I asked if they had toothpaste at the front desk, the guy looked around for it for some time and couldn’t find it, and proceeded to tell me that he had some in his room that I could use - that’s not creepy at all. I opted to go to the gas station and buy new. The little convenience area that has snacks and sodas was cash only - no card, can’t charge it to your room. Luckily we were there to visit family so we spent minimal time at the hotel. Overall just gross and creepy.

We arrived at 1am, tired. We are in our 70s. And we were asked for a $100 deposit for possible damages. They experienced a lot of partiers who damaged their rooms. We told the clerk we couldn’t tie up my card because I needed what was left on it for gas for the trip home. He assured us he was only holding it on file. We found out AmExpress couldn’t release the hold for 72 hours and we had to call our son for money to be transferred, so we could buy gas to get home. We were at an event in Utah, traveling to our home in Virginia. 1. We are 70yrs old, tired and arriving at 1am, not ready to party. 2. Then desk said our remaining credit would be accessible after the hold. Then we noticed the filth. The elevator floor covered in spillage that seems like it had been there for a while. Our room was not vacuumed, mirrors had lint dust that had been there for a while, toilet had fecal matter, shower had footprints and mold, windows and bath glass door had dirt and grease smudge marks, comforter was torn and there were blood stains, bedspread had large soil stains that seeped to the comforter. We were offered another room… but we expected to see the same, based on what we saw in the elevator. We asked for a receipt to expense it. He responded “you booked it through a booking agency?” And indicated we get our receipt from there.

The staff was unorganized the hotel was dirty. The furniture in my room was broken. Nobody cleaned our room all weekend. We had to go get our own towels and toiletries from the desk. I would not suggest this place to my worst enemy.

I ended up leaving. There was a large party of 40 to 50 people who arrived from Chicago. Two of the people started fighting. I did not feel safe. The check in person did NOTHING about the situation. Earlier I arrived before check in time and was treated rudely and was told to return. Then when I returned it was AWFUL. The guests were drinking and smelled of Pot. JUST AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

When I walked out of the elevator there was a homeless man sleeping at the end of the hallway.

Good location. Not a BAD hotel just needs better housekeeping. Rooms aren’t thoroughly cleaned. Chairs and linen have stains that with genuine care would be fixed. More to follow…

I could not stay at the hotel it was dirty. People were hanging out in front of the hotel. Air conditioners were rusty, broken windows. No, running water, bad location not safe at all. I requested my money back.

I stayed in room 208 I don’t think this hotel had been updated since it opened. It smelled of Marijuana it was loud and not very clean. It had a sofa bed that had one cushion that didn’t belong it looked nothing like the pictures

Do not stay here. My wife and sister-in-law begged us to go to another hotel, the only reason we stayed is because we got distracted laughing so hard at the online comments from customers that had the same experience as us. - I should have been paid to stay here, because I had to fix our toilet. - we were sold a two queen room online and got here and there was only one bed rooms available. - a police officer was chasing someone in the parking lot when we arrived. - according to comments from the last six years online, this place is in a continual renovation. - breakfast is advertised online, but it’s not actually available and it doesn’t matter because this place is so gross there is no way my wife would let us eat here. - there was food and all sorts of nasty junk in the pullout bed we had to use, bc there wasn’t a second queen sized bed. - there were no sheets for the pullout bed, so w asked for sheets and got one sheet. - the building smelled like weed as we entered, but that was strangely better than the smell of the room. - we used free hotels.com points to stay here, but even that was too much. - Surprised they are allowed to use the Baymont and Wyndham name. This place is gross. Not sure how the score is as high as is. - My brother was planning on sleeping in the car as a better option, but we never received confirmation that the guy being chased by the police was ever caught. -My wife suggested showering at a truck stop down the road instead of here.

The room had no soap or tissues. The tv remote was missing, went to the desk twice to get a working remote. Breakfast did not have juice, milk or water.

check in was good rooms were good. only thing they did not have was tea bags for tea drinkers only had coffee. breakfast was adequate was there for 1 night with group of friends to attend quilt show on Sunday.

Would never stay there again. The bathroom was beyond basic. There was very little food at breakfast. I went at 7:00 am and there was one sausage patty and some crumbs of egg. There were two bagels and six slices of bread for toast. There was plenty of yogart. The only juice was apple. Nothing was replenished. The tv remote did not work. There was litter on outside including cigarette butts. The tv remote did not work

The inn was in process of remodeling and there was no breakfast which was noted at the reservation time.
