We met family from US and hotel staff very welcoming. Tea (scones a little dry) We had lovely rooms and overall very satisfied. However Staff could have provided better direction to the centre as we only had a short time on day 1 and some places closed / closing. Leisure - swimming lovely but jacuzzi cool- changing rooms were filthy! Dinner wasn’t as good as food quite cool Breakfast was quite poor with overcooked cold food served We did speak to assistant Food / Beverage Manager after our US family left and she was so helpful. thank you! Aileen - ( excuse spelling). Second dinner was very much up to standard and our second breakfast was excellent / hot food - - not overcooked . We enjoyed our stay overall and revisit where our daughter reception was in 2011. Thank you to all the lovely staff.

Last minute break booked here as I had a few days off work. Excellent place to visit, the visitor centre was educational & very enjoyable. Hotel was lovely & comfortable, great pool & amenities. I’d definitely stay again.

Good location in restored converted old cotton mill by the falls of Clyde. Friendly staff. Good service. Good quality food in the restaurant. My wife enjoyed the Spa facilities. Mobile signal patchy due to location in a steep sided valley but hotel provided free Wi-Fi.

Fabulous welcome again, staff couldn’t be friendlier or more professional. Beautiful river view, excellent cleaning team, friendly, cheery bar staff and restaurant staff efficient and accommodating. Leisure centre a delight - well equipped gym and nice pool/spa. it could do with a deeper clean - great it’s well used but same dirt/rubbish under changing benches etc. Only request.

Hotel room OK, but it felt cold. Hotel dinner was lovely but we were disappointed with breakfast, only offered lorne sausage and the toast machine needs to be updated as to get the bread toasted took 3 rounds. We visited the spa but were disappointed as half the swimming pool was marked off for swimming lessons leaving it very tight to swim in the other side even for 2 people to pass. There were no parking spaces when we arrived so had to park at the top of the hill.

The views from our room was stunning, everything was perfect. It's spacious and classy and has everything you need. It's a beautiful hotel with the added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and steam room. Will definitely return.

Was disappointed this time, our third visit. The room was covered in dust on all surfaces, and the bathroom floor was left dangerously wet. We were a little early for check in but so were many others who came after us but managed to get into their rooms right away. We had to wait 2 30 minutes. Apart from the dust the room itself was lovely. However the sachets of hot chocolate and coffee had been there for a long time as the coffee was nearly solid. The breakfast was terrible, dried up fatty square sausage you could hardly cut and bacon which was so overcooked and had been left standing for goodness knows how long. If this was my first visit I wouldn't go back. However I have been twice before and I know they are better than this. I will try again but if its not improved, next time will be my last. Sorry for the not good review but I hope it will help to improve the next visit.

Lovely hotel. Although busy with a wedding the noise levels were appropriate later in the evening and so did not impact the stay. Pool area clean and pleasant. Food was delicious (evening meal and breakfast). Room needs a bit of attention. We were put in an accessible room. Window would not close, bed linen was stained, accessible shower would not drain properly. Nothing major - from looking at previous reviews this is something that managers are going to address. Amazing setting. Would recommend to friends.

What a find, love the history, amazing walks. Hotel room is a good size overlooking the Clyde Falls, staff were very professional and helpful, food was excellent, great quality. Great stay! Will definitely return.

We visit New Lanark Mill Hotel quite a lot and we can’t fault it all the bedroom’s are decorated for a lovely calm feeling. We stayed in a suit and enjoyed the experience plenty of room and stunning view’s we will defo return.

Beautiful hotel, slightly dated in places but overall perfectly nice. Spa/pool ares is really nice although the changing room was really cold due to an open window it Feb!! Food was lovely especially dinner although the sausage and bacon at breakfast were a bit anaemic looking. We had the New Harmony suite and can highly recommend it, its huge and the bed is the most comfortable thing i have ever slept in!

Excellent. However, we came down for breakfast at 09:15 and it was 09:55 before it was delivered to our table. I had asked for a fried egg but got a poached egg. I would have normally asked for it to be changed (it was very runny( white and yoke)) but I wasn’t prepared to wali another possible 30 mins.

Fantastic stay as always. Room lovely and comfortable. Isabel is really attentive and pleasant in the restaurant as are all the staff in reception, leisure club and cleaners. Love visiting here with my mum. Its a special unique location. Highly recommend.

Delightful as ever. Great location and hotel. Too pricey at the moment - not 5* but 5* prices in the holidays. Great facilities and staff welcoming. Disappointed at the fire alarm going off at 6am two mornings in a row -a ride awakening. At the hefty price there should definitely have been a recompense or complimentary response. There was nothing. Breakfast was great the first day, reasonable the next two. Portions have reduced and quality of mushrooms and spinach was disappointing.

Had a bad stay first of all the keyfobs were not working and you could only get into room by going to reception and get staff to open room this was the whole 2 days we stayed. Waited first morning 1 hr for breakfast second morning about 45 mins, missed one brexkfast in our party and my poached eggs were cold. They also missed Items in our party at dinner on the Friday. Couldt get cappuccino unti bar opened when did get it it was cold and had to take back and get another one. Bar closed at 10.30. Which is early for a hotel. We were a large party as we were staying for my nieces wedding We were all very disappointed with our stay at this hotel.

We had an overnight stay for a party night. Reception staff were very efficient and accommodating. We had a lovely evening, with the staff service for meals/drinks being good. We were given a disabled room for our stay. It was a bit unexpected. After the initial shock, we accepted it as it gave us more room, with not much of a difference, apart from the bathroom/ shower room. Breakfast was fine, pleasant staff serving, but service was a bit on the slow side

We had a two night stay in a suite. The room was very clean and spacious with good facilities. We had breakfast and evening meal on both days and were very pleased with the food and service we received. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you, whether it was reception, restaurant, bar staff or housekeeping. We would recommend this hotel.

The Hotel is in a wonderful location in a World Heritage Site .Visiting the old mills and homes of the cotton workers and reading about Robert Owen’s vision so interesting and then a beautiful woodland walk upto the Falls of Clyde . A great place for a two or three night break on your journey up to Scotland. Accessible by train and short bus/ taxi ride

We arrived quite late in the dark and found it quite difficult to locate the hotel as Google Maps wasn't functioning. It is not well signposted. After a few wrong turns we eventually got there. We'd booked one of the bigger suites for the night and the room was very spacious, warm and clean. The place has a lot of character, breakfast was excellent and there are some nice walks by the Clyde to walk off the calories. Friendly staff too.

Traveling from the USA spending a week in and around Scotland, this restored Mill hotel was really something! A beautiful building, the hotel is high end and hits the mark . Its price matches its upstated elegance but was well worth the price for us . The restaurant was similarly stylish but comfortable with a good menu at appropriate price points .Well worth staying to get a total New Lanark experience

We met family from US and hotel staff very welcoming. Tea (scones a little dry) We had lovely rooms and overall very satisfied. However Staff could have provided better direction to the centre as we only had a short time on day 1 and some places closed / closing. Leisure - swimming lovely but jacuzzi cool- changing rooms were filthy! Dinner wasn’t as good as food quite cool Breakfast was quite poor with overcooked cold food served We did speak to assistant Food / Beverage Manager after our US family left and she was so helpful. thank you! Aileen - ( excuse spelling). Second dinner was very much up to standard and our second breakfast was excellent / hot food - - not overcooked . We enjoyed our stay overall and revisit where our daughter reception was in 2011. Thank you to all the lovely staff.

The Falls of Clyde walk was lovely. About 3/4 mile all in. The hotel was lovely, not too busy. Pool was empty and water not too cold. Big clean room. Breakfast was a little disappointing, some missed items, overdone eggs and burnt potato scone. Partner had eggs Benedict also overdone and cold but also had the continental option of toast, cereal, fruit cup, yoghurt and a few pastries. 3 out of 5.

What an amazing hotel, big rooms very clean, all facilities great. Beautiful swimming pool, steam room and sauna. River view room outstanding for our honeymoon. The walk to the Falls of Clyde, beautiful and the Museum was really interesting and really added to our stay. Really enjoyed the Scottish breakfast, the eggs benedict was delicious, dinner was lovely too, we had the burger and the braised pork belly, staff helpful as well.

What a find, love the history, amazing walks. Hotel room is a good size overlooking the Clyde Falls, staff were very professional and helpful, food was excellent, great quality. Great stay! Will definitely return.

Biggest downside was having to wait for 45 mins for my dinner. When it arrived half was missing ( haggis and sauce ) and what was on the plate looked awful , so not such a chicken supreme. I declined to eat the food or have it topped up with the missing parts. The lady sitting next to me also suffered the same fate. To be fair the Manager came to my room with apologies and offer of a sweet instead. Also declined as I had lost my appetite by then. Took the free drink offered at the bar.

Delightful as ever. Great location and hotel. Too pricey at the moment - not 5* but 5* prices in the holidays. Great facilities and staff welcoming. Disappointed at the fire alarm going off at 6am two mornings in a row -a ride awakening. At the hefty price there should definitely have been a recompense or complimentary response. There was nothing. Breakfast was great the first day, reasonable the next two. Portions have reduced and quality of mushrooms and spinach was disappointing.

Had a bad stay first of all the keyfobs were not working and you could only get into room by going to reception and get staff to open room this was the whole 2 days we stayed. Waited first morning 1 hr for breakfast second morning about 45 mins, missed one brexkfast in our party and my poached eggs were cold. They also missed Items in our party at dinner on the Friday. Couldt get cappuccino unti bar opened when did get it it was cold and had to take back and get another one. Bar closed at 10.30. Which is early for a hotel. We were a large party as we were staying for my nieces wedding We were all very disappointed with our stay at this hotel.

Hotel itself was bueatifull. Pool facilities lovely. When we had dinner the items on the menu they didnt have. Wasnt asked for ages if we wanted a drink costomer service at dinner poor untill a young girl had to try sort it out.

We went as a family of 4, there was a small park, a walk and dinosaurs about Lanark, the kids loved it and we enjoyed exploring the area. The hotel had a pool although we didn't get to use that as we only stayed one night. We used the soft play which was great for the 2 year old but maybe a bit young for the 6 year old. Would definitely stay here again

Lovely room good shower. Liked the tea coffee and hot chocolate plus the little biscuits nice touch. Staff were all so friendly and efficient dining room at breakfast and dinner runs like clockwork. So very unique in the hotel with the sound of water running past. So soothing

Really honest review. Lovely receptionist who allowed us to check in early, she recognised us from a previous stay which was nice. Checked into room 10, spacious room with lovely view, comfy bed but bathroom needs updating. No fridge in room or bottles of water. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and food is very nice. A few negatives, some staff were quite rude, one in particular. Couldn’t provide us with an ice bucket and no bottles of prosecco in the whole of the hotel apart from the small ones. Breakfast is dismal no nice bread, awful chopped fruit in glasses that looked like it had been there days, no nutella, marmite, cheese, cold meats, cooked breakfast was nice but this definitely is not a 4 star breakfast and the hotel is more 3 stars.
