Room was fine. Shower took quite a while to warm up. Breakfast was not available at 6 p.m. as we were told it would be. Gentleman at desk was somewhat rude when we came on the second day we were there and told him that neither of our key cards were functioning. I had to add a day onto our reservation and those 2 reservations were not integrated as I had done it through a third-party. When the key issue was clarified, I confirmed that we would not be charged again for our pet fee. The gentleman working at the desk rudely responded and said he told me at check in that the pet fee covered 1-4 days. When I indicated that I did not recall him telling me that and I was just asking for confirmation, he again argued and repeated he had told me that at check-in. His reaction was unnecessary and rude given that the hotel had failed to integrate our two reservations and had not told us that we would need to check in again on the second day.

Got there early and had to wait forty minutes for someone to come to the front desk to see if I could drop off my bags or check in early. Never had this happen where the front desk was completely unattended. For an employee party. Unexpected.

As a solo female traveler I can confidently recommend staying at The Hampton Inn, Princeton, NJ. The outside is well lit. There is always someone at the front desk. The breakfast was fresh. The around the clock coffee was hot and hit the spot. The onsite gym was clean and safe. My room was clean and odor free. According to my sleep tracker I got the best few nights sleep then I had had in months. Definitely recommend without hesitation.
