Was very excited to bring our granddaughter there for a visit. The pool area looked beautiful. When we got there I was informed that the pool was closed. They said that it was closed for a long time and that they had informed you it was closed. You never change the description of the property and still had old photos showing the pool. The staff were very helpful in trying to find us another hotel to stay at. One of the staff, a nice young woman with dark hair was on her phone locating beaches we could go to, none really close. She when above and beyond expectations in trying to help us. We did end up staying and had a good time over all.

Key card would not work the first time. Had to go downstairs to desk to get another. One elevator was out of service. There were spills on the floor in the breakfast area. There was hair on the shower floor. There was no trash receptacle in the toilet/shower area. Women particularly often need a garbage to dispose of female things. The shower was in a widespread spray. I’m 5 feet and the water spaced all around me. Very difficult to wash my hair. The shower head was way too tall for me to reach to reset. The room was very nicely laid out and spacious.

We had a perfect stay. Check-in was easy and quick. The room was wonderful, clean, spacious, comfortable. The pool was open (signs say not open when manager or owner not on site, but we went twice with no issues). Breakfast had many choices and food was delicious. Lots of shopping and dining in walking distance. Would certainly stay here again!

The hotel has changed hands. I had stayed here multiple times before. I would stay here again but was disappointed that you now have to pay for the better coffee. The pool no longer exists and the entire hotel seemed tired and in need of a thorough clean and refresh. However the linens were clean and it is close to where I needed to be.

We have been staying at this hotel for almost 6 years. It was a hidden jewel until this last stay. One out of two elevators was not working. The swimming pool was gone. The free buffet breakfast was gone; you have to pay $11 for breakfast and it's very mediocre. It costs $5 for washing machine and $5 for dryer. They even ask if they have to clean everyday.

I love the Hyatt. The room was very clean which was important to me. The bathroom was small but clean with fair water pressure. Air conditioning worked and so did all of the lights. I love that there is a desk area to do work and a sink with a refrigerator under. My only set back was the change from Free to fee breakfast. I enjoy this place because of that amenity especially because it does not have a pool. They also stopped selling soda and cookies in the lobby area which was an awesome feature. Outside of those changes, the hotel is awesome. Plenty of food options in the area and movie theater in close proximity.

Could have been good. But the room was musty. The carpet felt wet. The air was wet. Muggy. Damp. Musty. Hated to entering the room every time. Not sure why the inside of the hotel room was so bad. There has to be a way to control the humidity in the rooms!

I am a fan of the Hyatt Place brand, so I was surprised and disappointed that the one in Princeton didn’t live up to expectations. The room itself was sizable and clean; however the design was extraordinarily awkward. The largescreen TV faced a wall and was difficult to view from either the bed or couch. The actual toilet was comically low to the ground and the bathroom layout was claustrophobic. Oddly there was no hand soap, and when we asked for some they said they couldn’t get us any until housekeeping showed up in the morning (it never arrived). The beds were uncomfortable and lumpy, and the hallway reeked of pot. The hotel does not have a restaurant despite claiming to, and the “bar” is just a few bottles of liquor behind the front desk. Breakfast was bad despite having eggs and potatoes, and the seating area is tiny so guests spread out eating it uncomfortably across the lobby. The pool was fin, with a deep end, but underheated, with no onsite bathroom or changing room. The only true perk is the location, steps from multiple decent restaurants, a bookstore, a movie theater, and a mall.

the room was spacious and very nice! the staff was very kind and helpful. my only complaint was the air conditioner would not run continuously and would just shut off, causing me to wake up sweating in the middle of the night. there was construction going on in some of the rooms on the same floor so i could hear drilling and other noises through the morning. but the room itself was clean and cozy.

The WiFi required an additional access code that they didn't tell us about. Then I couldn't reconnect in the morning. The refrigerator on the room didn't work. The heating system was either off or on; the thermostat setting had no effect. With the heat on, it got very hot, so we switched the entire unit on and off every couple of hours all night long. One of the clothes drawers was broken and wouldn't open. There was no microwave. Other than that, the bed was fine, as was the sofa. The bath and shower areas were small be OK. The small sink and the desk were fine.

The room design was interesting, not a cookie cutter rectangle. Beds were comfortable. We stayed three nights and the room was never cleaned. Breakfast was reasonably good, though they often ran out of items and it took awhile to get things restocked. Location right Off Route 1 near two malls and some mediocre restaurants was convenient if uninteresting. Long story short, we had a good experience and would stay there again.

Front desk folks were stoic - non responsive , robot like bordering being rude. After checking in found the refrigerator and phone not working. One of the lights in the bathroom was not there anymore- covered with white tape. No offer of drinking water. No label of food at breakfast. Don’t know what you are eating.

Truly the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. Every single employee was incredible hospitable and accommodating. Our room was beautiful and well kept. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, had a variety of options, and was free, which is beautiful. Special shoutout to Sadie at the front desk for the warm welcome.

We made a reservation on this Hotel 3 months in advance due to it being Graduation in Princeton. We paid in full thru expedia, We to check in and was told they had no reservation for me in the system. After complaining and showing them my confirmation # they said it was booked thru a third party service and would have to take it up with them. Impossible to get Expedia to help on weekend, only able to get them thru Chat. Complained further and they told me they found my reservation in the old system cancelled but they never notified me of cancellation. They then offered me a Single Room when I booked a double. Grateful for this even though it was cramped since the whole town was booked. Expedia sends me email next day saying the have a double now. to say the least not a good experince.

Thought this would have been A great experience , I thought wrong once we checked in , I was told once we checked in that someone else had checked in under my name in info prior to my arrival . When my wife and I arrive they asked did we check in online I stated no , once they investigated someone had checked in under all my information. We waited in the lobby for 50 mins waiting on the next Steps once the staff resolved the issue they offer nothing for the inconvenience or no Further information on how this all happen just as I quote the young lady at the front desk “ the good thing is we are able to resolve this for you “ as if my wife and I created the problem . Once we asked to speak to a manager they inform they informed that he would receive A call from us and he never once answered his phone number that the staff gave us ! This had been A extremely unpleased experience that no one form the Hyatt place stuff has taking action on ! We traveled in town for A class Reunion that we were extremely late for due this mishap with no action taking from Hyatt place sad

I reserved a room with two beds. When I arrived, I was given a room with one large size bed. When I asked the front desk, I was told that there was a couch in the room and that should be sufficient. I was told that they could not move me to another room. If they were not able to provide two beds, then my reservation should not have been completed. I could have gone somewhere else. Since I will be frequenting this area, I will not return to this hotel. There are other hotels in this area which will provide more options.

We booked a room with two-double beds for 2 adults and 2 teens. Showed up and there was one double bed and one pull out sofa. Tried speaking with management and they told us we weren’t guaranteed what we booked and PAID for in full, over a month before our stay and they told us 1) we weren’t guaranteed a room since we booked 3rd party and 2) members get priority. We are still asking for a refund (we stayed somewhere else for our trip) as we paid for something, expected to get that, and they refused to provide that BUT had no problem taking all our $. Hotel is currently under renovation (not a huge problem as places need to be updated). Too bad not a better place to stay, as it is in a great location, but don’t fall for that.

A great stay at Hyatt Place Princeton! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, well appointed, clean and decorated nicely. Great location on Rte 1 with shopping/restaurants nearby but set back enough from the highway that it was quiet. Only minor complaints are the computer system at the front desk seemed to take forever to check in and to buy concessions, and the eggs at breakfast are powdered and inedible. They can step up the food quality like a comparable Hampton Inn. Thanks for another great stay regardless.

Overall good experience…the cleanliness of the hotel was okay. I could see where they have made repairs in the room and wooded furniture looked a little beat up. The couch did have some stains too. Staff was nice, but lacked room service. We noticed our room was never cleaned and the breakfast was subpar.

Hyatt Place in Princeton is an absolute gem of a hotel. Terrific breakfast food with tons of great choices and add-ons. We feel lucky to stay there every time- and it’s our first choice for Princeton travel.

This is a very nice property. The staff are friendly and helpful, it’s small enough to never feel crowded, the included breakfast was very good, the area was cleaned and replenished regularly. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it as a very nice hotel at an acceptable price for Princeton, which is understandably expensive.
