Wonderful staff! Kirsty was absolutely amazing and so helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze. The facilities were beautiful, the spa and pools were my favourite. The river view room was so beautiful, especially during the sunset. Would highly recommend staying here.

I thought the property was in good condition for its age. The equipment supplied was good. The lounge suite was not very practical for tall people. The rubbish bins could have been emptied each day even if the apartment wasn't being serviced. The parking was tight for medium to large cars.

Our riverview king suite was great-large,clean,with great view of the water & the boats. Check-in was easy,free parking,and nice (but small) indoor heated pool & spa which wasn’t busy. Beautiful quiet area only a short drive into the city. The only issue we had was a bit of noise at night from the balcony above & in the morning from people walking past as the bedroom is very close to walking path.

The room was nice and clean, but balcony was sandy. Living area was too small for 4 people though. Laundry is available 24 hours, which is great! One car is allowed to park on the premises per apartment, but it’s first come first served basis. Overall, a good place to stay!

Had a very enjoyable stay on the 3rd floor with a stunning river view and view of the old North Fremantle football ground great balcony and screen door to let the awesome breeze in lovely kitchenette with nice stainless fridge/freezer plenty of room to move nice dining area great lounge with TV and decent bathroom adjoining both master bedroom and double single room. The indoor pool was great,excellent spa and a very pleasant breakfast room on 1st floor! A hidden gem that is quiet and comfortable and I will definitely be going out of my way to stay at this really great and secure venue more now!

Nice waterfront Hotel. Room was spacious and clean with kitchen facilities and good sized fridge. Nice balcony overlooking the Marina. Parking area was secure however small so hard to park with a large 4x4. Access to the waterfront was a bit difficult unless you are on the ground floor. No restaurants or convenience shops close by so car required.

Very comfortable accommodation, close to Fremantle - but you do need a car. The rooms are well set up, both dark and quiet - that counts for a lot. Bed very comfortable. Off the main roads, so no traffic noise, and a nice outlook. TV remote didn't work well and I gave up on using it after a while. Check in and check out was easy and it's a historic area to walk around, but there isn't much around, if you want to go out for dinner it's a drive, or a long walk. Parking is a little tight but I always got a space.

We love the location and roomy one bedroom apartments with beautiful views of the Swan River. Safe and secure parking. Unfortunately our unit was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned properly which was very disappointing. The cleaning staff had gone home for the day so it wasn’t cleaned until the next morning. The manager was lovely and did her best to clean in the interim.

The apartment was clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked sufficiently. Unfortunately there are no drawers or shelves in the bedroom or wardrobe only 6 hangers, so we could not unpack. There were guests dressing gowns and slippers but we didn't use them. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Our room was beautiful however we could smell dust the minute we turned on the air con so we took out the filters and cleaned. They were so choked up and clogged with dust. Once cleaned it worked beautifully and we had an amazing stay. At check out i mentioned to the customer service officer and he was so receptive to my feedback and made notes for all the air cons to be checked.

The staff are very polite and helpful. Room cleaned every day was excellent. Fresh towels everyday. However, the floors need a really good wash. After walking around on the floors for 30 minutes the soles of your feet are black with dirt. You need to wash your feet before going to bed so as not to dirty bed sheets. The room was clean , just not the floors.

Picturesque location by river very tranquil and relaxing. Beautiful boats dock to admire and small beach to walk along. Beautiful walk down to the water through the gardens from room. Close to shops, markets and restaurants etc. Room was large, bedroom, lounge room, kitchen and bathroom, very clean, comfortable and all amenities supplied. Breakfast was amazing, great chef, cashier lovely, and reception was very pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend. Will be definitely going back for a longer stay.

We stayed here in the suite room for our honeymoon. The property was nice but clearly run down, however our view was amazing. Unfortunately our room itself was very dirty- the sofa was stained and when you moved it there was dirt all over the floor that hadn’t been vacuumed. We also found multiple toe nails on the floor, and old nespresso pods stuck in the coffee machine. The kitchen drawers had hair inside the cutlery tray, the pots and pans were dirty and rusty. We let front desk know and they did send someone to clean up, but can’t say they didn’t a wonderful job or make us feel like it was cleaner. Once we let go of the room not being clean and cleaned up ourselves, we did enjoy our stay here, the location was good with Uber eats available and plenty of restaurants nearby.

The room was very basic without any rugs on floor or pictures on walls. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans etc but no table or chairs to sit and have a meal. The windows needed a clean and the WC needed a good clean. All in all I thought it was expensive for what was there.

Lovely property with some old style charm. Smooth no hassle check in and out. Loved the use of the laundry and use of the indoor pool. Nice quiet location. Room was clean and fresh everyday and always saw plenty of staff around the property keeping it well maintained. Would definitely stay again 10/10

The location is lovely, we also had a pretty view of the river from our balcony, which was great! Our room was sparsely furnished, with a small and rather uncomfortable bed, old / worn leather sofa and bare basic amenities. At night, we found it noisy and at times I felt a little unsafe with people talking right outside our window. We also were not able to find a parking onsite for the majority of the time due to limited bays. Overall, ok. Probably won’t race back but not wildly unhappy.

Nice place a short Uber away from the centre. Very easy check in and out. Facilities good if a little basic. Sink plug wasnt working correctly and furniture a little dated otherwise no issues. Beds comfortable and nice views. Very good if a little pricey for out of season.

I stayed at Pier 21 Apartment Hotel in 2020 and had a very positive experience. This year, when I returned to Fremantle, I didn't even consider searching for another hotel; Pier 21 was my first choice. Upon booking, I inquired about securing a room with a water view. I was informed that it would cost an additional $35 per night to guarantee a Swan River View. I understand that premium features come at a price, so this was acceptable to me. However, my recent visit highlighted some areas for improvement. Upon arrival, the receptionist asked if I wanted to upgrade to the water view room, and I declined. Her response, "some people just want things for free," made me feel quite uncomfortable. In my experience, it's not uncommon for hotels to offer complimentary upgrades if rooms are available, so I didn't think it was unreasonable to ask. I believe a more positive and customer-friendly approach could enhance the guest experience. The mattress protector was torn, and the overall condition of the furniture and amenities felt worn and old. Pier 21 is in a lovely location over looking the river in North Fremantle. It’s a quiet location but only a 10 minute drive across the Bridge from Fremantle with shops, restaurants and the lovely market. The apartment was clean and well equipped with all the facilities needed. Don’t miss a visit to nearby Point Walter where you can walk across the sandbank at low tide and see lots of birds.

It is very scenic, with a view of the Swan River. It's right next to the marina. It's a beautiful neighbourhood. We loved driving across the bridge to dine frequently at DOME restaurant. People working at property are nice and friendly. Overall a lovely stay.

Please note the comments below are being provided based on the comparable price charged at other locations. Lacked flexibility with check in time. Could not oblige with a better view. Stay was comfortable. Room was generally clean, except that the floor of entire apartment could have been cleaned better. It was a bit muddy. Observed that the skirting boards right through the aparment had not been cleaned for some time. Also, the room service breakfast was very tacky and lacked finesse. Foam boxes does not reflect too well for the price charged. Could do much better. Happy to discuss at no extra charge.
