We booked this location despite the higher price and further proximity specifically for the pool. When we arrived we were informed that pool was closed and will continue to be closed through September due to storm damage. I understand if this was an unexpected closure due to mechanical issues or hygiene issues but this was a known issue for quite some time and they knew it would be for a prolonged time. I DO expect a facility to inform customers of such an issue with one of there major amenities. The breakfast was not great but certainly not a deal breaker. This was our go to hotel as our son is going to college in the area for the foreseeable future. IHG it is!!!

The room had a very musty smell to it like it had sat humid and vacant for a considerable amount of time. I had mostly selected this property for the free airport shuttle included. I signed up for a shuttle time when I checked in the evening before, but the next morning the shuttle was running late and then took an additional trip to a job site and 40 minutes after my shuttle time, was still not back to take me. I ended up paying for an Uber to make sure I could still get to the airport to check my bags. This wasn’t the end of the world, but I definitely would have stayed at a nicer property if I knew I was going to have to Uber anyway.

This hotel is under construction right now, so it looks like it's on its way to being nicer but right now it's a mess. Parking is a pain & you are checking in via a makeshift office in the back of the hotel because the main entrance is closed. The whole place stinks of sheetrock powder and other construction materials. During breakfast all of us guests were listening to power tools and construction right next to us. Worst of all there's no plastic hung between the work they are doing and the breakfast area so all that construction dust is just floating around. All that being said this does look like it will be nice when it's done and the desk staff have been very nice. The pool and hot tub were nice and the breakfast wasn't bad. The other criticism I have is a weird one, it's the toilet of all things, it is a terrible design and doesn't flush everything down. It forcefully shoots water into the back of the bowl and leaves everything at the front of the bowl sitting there. Overall I think this will be a decent stay once the remodel is done, but I would pass on it until the construction is done.

Overall the hotel is very clean and nice. The pool is being refurbished but not a big deal for us. On the other hand the elevator is out of service and we had to lug our luggage upstairs. Not a huge deal but annoying after driving all day.

We always stay here when we're in Springfield. The rooms are clean and the staff is wonderful. Breakfast is a nice bonus too! We like that it's right off the highway and next to a gas station and other restaurants. Best hotel in the city!

first key did not work, elevator did not work (our room was on the 2nd floor-elevator door would not open). It would only open on the first and third floors. Went to the front desk to let them know-they said they knew about it and that there was a note on it the day before. There wasn't a note on it the day we used it. The poo was closed and it was disgusting. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. That hotel needs to be reported.

Our room was spotless which is my #1 priority when staying anywhere. The room was also comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they took time to engage with my two small grand sons who had lots of questions. We had a great experience. This will be our go to hotel any time we visit family in Springfield.

The establishment was very well kept and clean. Our deluxe suite room was spacious, very comfortable with a pillow top bed and gorgeous bathroom. The staff were professional and friendly and we will definitely be staying here again! :)

We had a king bed room and it was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint is that it was quite noisy around us, which the hotel can’t control, but it seemed as if the walls were very thin. We turned on a sound machine app and downed most of it out. Overall, it was a decent stay for the price after a long flight.

It's a very roomy, room. Nice comfy chairs. Chairs. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The AC worked great. TV and Wi-Fi was excellent. I would have stayed two nights but the pool was out of order. When I called the day before to ask early check-in, I feel I should have been told about the pool that had not been working for a while. It's very easy to find close to the highway. Very accessible to restaurants, activities, etc

Everything was nice about the property. The staff was friendly. This La Quinta is fantastic! So clean, staff was great, breakfast was good (and the staff person running it was helpful and friendly), super clean rooms and public areas. The pool and hot tub looked great, just wish we would have had time to use them. (Check out Tie & Timber Beer Co. and the good restaurants in the Rountree neighborhood, too - about 15 mins away.)Thanks so much!

Not in a shady part of town, felt pretty safe. Could tell there were some updates. However toilet was extremely loud, could hear other rooms use theirs too. Pillows were very uncomfortable, small square ones that felt soft but when used they turned hard. Very loud guests late at night and had asked to quiet them down with no response. We know the loud guests isn’t hotel’s fault, but they didn’t address it. Breakfast was subpar. Edible but nothing to write home about. Because of the cleanliness, decent part of town, and comfortable bed, we’d stay here again.

We arrived really early and the front desk gentleman, Tim said he would ask housekeeping to clean our room. We had a couple people who weren’t feeling well. He said he would call me when the room was ready. Within an hour he called. Tim was very nice and courteous.

The place was nice and clean. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was not great. The eggs seemed to be from powered eggs. The oats were not cooked. They do not offer ice or water in the breakfast area. These are all minor but I am honest in my reviews. Our room was clean. We had requested a premium king room with a couch. The couch has no arm/sides. It was not a comfortable place to relax. We were only there one night passing through but if we had intended several nights and expecting a place to relax this would not work.

It was easy to book and get all my stuff done online before showing up to the hotel the rooms were very clean and the whole property was clean my only complaint is with the breakfast because the eggs were barely edible and the juice machine was broken

I had a great experience at this property. My only suggestion would be to provide high-fiber bread for toasting at the breakfast bar and to also include some fresh vegetables (perhaps something as simple as red pepper slices) at the breakfast bar. The coffee was great.

From check in the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The eggs were a bit overcooked but other than that the breakfast was good. The only complaint we had was at check in I was told breakfast was from 6am-9am. Great just before heading to the expo we were attending. Saturday, day 2, the breakfast was not out. After about 20 minutes of waiting my husband went to the front desk to ask when it was going to come out. It wasn't served until 7am. We didn't have time to wait that late. I wasn't told 6-9 except weekends.
